I’m not sure why this Coffee Bean doesn’t have more stars(perhaps people should wait until after they’ve had their cup of Joe before they Unilocal a coffee shop… crabs!). Anywhoo, I come here almost every day, and I think it’s a great coffee spot. The Barista’s are always nice, and they take care to get my order just the way I like it. If there’s ever a mistake, they adjust it without any issues. One barista in particular is my fav because she always greets me by name with a nice smile. One of the best things about this place is that there are no LAPTOPJUNKIES(see my Tanner’s Coffee Unilocal)…maybe one or two. Instead, there’s a bunch of old men hanging around, which makes it pretty hilarious at times. One time two of them got in a bathroom argument because one cut in front of the other, and the one who got bombarded yelled«Call the police! He cut in front of me!» There is not much indoor seating, but there is ample patio seating, and a fire pit, which makes it a nice spot to chill at night. I’ll be back soon…

The place is not clean and the staff is really not friendly. I ordered an Americano and the barista didn’t do a good job. Asked for it to be remade. It was still as awful as the first time. I can’t describe how disappointed I am with this place. I am a coffee bean fan and this, to me, is a big let down.

I love CBTL but this location disgust me… the staff are rude and complain often. They don’t pay attention to the orders, even more so if you’re ordering multiple drinks the service you receive is not welcoming. One of the 3 worst CBTL locations I’ve ever been to. I understand working customer service is a tough job but to give your customers even the good ones a disrespectful form of treatment is unacceptable

I just went in with my husband to grab a quick coffee and iced tea. The barista I believed named Karla behind the counter was probably one of the most unpleasant /rude person I have dealt with for quite some time ! She had no patience while i was trying to figure out what kind of coffee I wanted. And when we asked if she or the other barista could write a specific name on my drink for a collage that my hubby wants to do, They just walked away not responding ! Clearly not friendly, no concept of what good service is about at all!!! Thank god the coffee taste good cause I don’t think I would ever come back!!!

I just came to get an Ice Tea and was attended by a horrible barista that didn’t give a ***t about me and my wife. So unpleasant! Ridiculous!

Came in here to get ice for homeless. Charged me four dollars for ices. Told the barista who stands behind the cash register that was for homeless, she gave me a blank face with no empathy(like I don’t give a f*). I still paid it since it was hot out there. Get your coffees/drinks from places that have happy baristas who show empathy.

This location is nice, it has a fire pit outside to sit around and sip your drinks while staying warm. This location has a good sized parking lot as well which is a great amenity to have in Los Angeles. The staff is friendly and prompt. Café was kept clean and maintained. Ample seating indoors and outdoors to relax and unwind. Not a bad location at all, it is in the middle of everything.

Good coffee. Refills are $ 1! Staff seemed indifferent. The 1 restroom was out of service for cleaning, geez! Seems to be a neighborhood spot where older crowds come to gather to shoot the breeze, drink coffee, play board games, check internet and read the paper. Outdoor and indoor seating. Loved that the lot is fairly large, lots of parking.

I wish i had a full size keyboard to complain about this location, since I am not being paid, I don’t give a hoot! 2 electrical outlets for 30 people seating area outside, internet that is so slow that you cant get anything done. Tables that wobble until you spill hot liquid on your leg! Complained to the corporate, they don’t care, even though they say they do! How do these people stay in business!!! I think they only care how much money they can make of off customers.

This coffee shop location and I go way back. It is located in the middle of Little Persia, and has many regulars of which I was one during undergrad. Many of my Persian friends come here, and we’ve held good conversations here as well as using it as a rallying point for our nights out. The parking is a private lot, but can be a pain during rush our. You can park along the street on Ohio or along Westwood Blvd, but sometimes that is full as well. This place has a small interior space, and it is ok to study in although it’s not the most quiet of places. They have a large outside patio, with a fireplace at the center and plenty of seating. They also have four comfortable chairs just outside the building facing the patio, and underneath heat lamps. Great place to post when studying and when it’s not too hot outside. The coffee here is as great as always, and so is their customer service. You get very few weirdos here, but LAPD takes care of that if need be. Stop by for coffee, and say hi if you ever see me.

Have always been a loyal customer to this place, but today’s visit just total disappointed me. I went to the bathroom, and on the way there were two«wet floor» signs standing there, I didn’t take it in mind and just used the bathroom. After I came out, one of the baristas yelled at me, yes, he was YELLING to me with a angry tone. saying that«the bathroom is closed, didn’t you see!» It was loud enough so people at entire coffeeshop heard it. Sorry maybe I was the one who didn’t pay attention at the first place, but is it that the attitude that one presents to his customers? Sorry not coming back again. I rather drive a couple blocks more to the starbucks there. PS: it happened two hours before it closed so it wasn’t even closing and the bathroom worked perfectly. That kind of rudeness I can’t even

I can hear somebody to pick up a coffee for someone else but I had one of the best experiences that I’ve had in a coffee shop. Saad and Christina we’re working and they were so friendly and so helpful and so welcoming it as soon as I step foot inside of this establishment. What I appreciate it was the fact that they were so helpful and so easy to talk to and made my experience they’re very pleasant. I wasn’t even here for myself and I was treated as if I was a customer of theirs even though they knew that I was getting this beverage for another person. I have never been to the coffee bean but will certainly go back now due to their customer service.

These guys are great, the entire team. Nothing’s perfect, you just have to let them know and they’ll fix it right away. I’m a regular here. A note, Jomey remembers everyone’s names and their drinks, always greeting us with his typical cheerful smile.

Another great Coffee Bean location. Service is great, the store clean and well maintained and my coffee as always excellent. I had an ultimate extreme mocha(extra shot, java chips) and loved every sip. By far my favorite chain to get coffee at.

Had one issue using the Coffee Bean app code to pay for a drink with one staff member but eventually he came back and apologized to me and gave me a make-up gift card. I’ve decided just to not use the coffee bean rewards app at all because it seems to be more trouble than its worth, and not all locations accept it. The patio here is okay, prone to lots of honking from the Westwood/Ohio intersection. Also, this location’s patio is great if you are looking to eavesdrop on juicy personal conversations. There is a pretty ample-sized parking lot here which is pretty nice, but also a lot of street parking around the area regardless.

Although coffee bean is another large coffee chain that isn’t necessarily that special in comparison to smaller owned skip the fancy lattes straight to the point good coffee shops, I’m very fond of this location. For the last year of my undergrad and my first year as a post grad, this has been my coffee shop of choice since its conveniently located within a walking distance of my apartment. It’s open late which is perfect for my late night cramming and opens early for my early morning shifts, what more can I ask for ? It’s a cozy shop with a cute outside area which is nice for hanging out while people watching on Westwood blvd. I normally just drink plain iced coffee with no added sugar or milk, but when I’m feeling adventurous I get the Hazelnut iced coffee which has just the right amount of sweetness. When I’m looking to indulge, I order their addicting mocha ice blended with an added shot of espresso. I’ve also been here enough times that the baristas recognize me occasionally and this is probably the first time I’d ever consider myself a regular anywhere. The reason I give this place 4 stars is because sometimes the lines can get pretty long because it’s in such a convenient location, but they do go by pretty quickly. Another qualm is sometimes the iced hazelnut comes out a little bland and other days it’s perfect! I guess they need to work on better consistency, but while I’m in the area, this will always be my go to store for coffee.

Friendly place to grab a coffee drink, but not cleanest spot in town. Management needs to be more attentive to the condiment station and the sitting area. It is frequently messy and not stocked. Makes me question the cleanliness behind the counter…

I had to update my review and demote their rating. I came here to study yesterday and was snacking on some grilled veggies I brought from home in a corner seat. After a while I was tapped on the shoulder by an employee and was rudely told I was not allowed to eat my food because it wasn’t kosher. I’m sorry, doesn’t the term kosher apply to meat and meat products… A Persian man sitting next to me told me to ignore them since they have no clue what they are talking about. Rude and stupid employees who need to pick up a dictionary, I’m not trying to be mean, just truthful.

This location on Westwood Blvd. has an outdoor fireplace that gets heated up in the evenings. That goes well with my new Hot Hazelnut Latte. Cold Ice-Blended Hazelnut when I’m in my sweet tooth mood. #pithy
