I’ve been waiting to try Bricco for a while now and am glad today we finally went. The Caesar salad is amazing. The dressing was delicious. Our group ordered the marinara pizza, the short rib pizza and the margarita with pepperoni. All were very good. I didn’t like the short rib one as much as I thought – It needed a sauce in my opinion. My favorite was the margarita. The crust of these pizzas is thin and crispy, which I love. If you don’t like a crispy crust, there are plenty of other non pizza options. Someone at one of the tables near us got a sandwich and it looked delicious! We will definitely be back!

So glad we finally came here! We frequent the pour house next door and has always seen Bricco and read phenomenal reviews, but today we finally got to try it for ourselves. I actually hate myself for not coming here sooner. It was PACKED on a Tuesday night for dinner… Always a great sign. The inside restaurant is adorable. You get the neighborhood family feel. Service was extremely attentive and quick. We started with the charred Rosemary wings and antipasto for 2. Honestly we should have stopped right here. Both appetizers were extremely generous in size and AMAZING. The antipasto was huge and well planned out. The fresh mozzarella HAD to be home made… It was so light and fluffy. Now let’s talk about these wings. OHMYLAWD. Now we are self proclaimed wing snobs. My expectations were not high for these wings… How could brlck oven wings top good old battered and fried wings? My god. These wings. I’m a convert. They were absolute perfection. We ordered two pizzas… And honestly we were so full that we each only sampled 2 slices of each pie and packed the rest to take home. The pizza menu is extensive and with great variety. You can tell Bricco takes pride in using quality ingredients and a divine selection. FYI– they are BYOB so bring your own wine or beer to enjoy with your meal!

9⁄10. Great meal, great service. We took advantage of their BYOB policy since there’s a liquor store across the street and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The pizza here is EXCELLENT with great ingredients, simply prepared. The pizza’s are cooked to prefection, with a crisp, slightly chewy crust and few ingredients(if you have any sense at all). The only thing I didn’t like was the ridiculous price of the tiny pepper/cheese/ham appetizer – it tasted great, though.

My friends had told me Bricco makes a solid pizza so last Friday we decided to try Bricco. Although we picked up our order for take out, the restaurant was super busy at 6:45. The dining room was full and there were a least 10 – 15 people waiting in line. Bricco reminded us a little of Zavino. Parking can be tough as they share a lot with Pour House, another popular place on Haddon Ave. There is also street parking. We ordered the harvest salad, which was made of quinoa, apples, candied walnuts & goat cheese with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. This was not bad but was kind of kind of bland. It seemed to be missing something to make it stand out. We also ordered the Fioruccio pizza, which was crisp pancetta, goat & fontina cheese, and caramelized onions. Briccos crust is thin and almost like flat bread. We liked this pizza quite a bit and the pancetta and caramelized onions gave the pizza some nice flavors. Bricco is a bit pricey, a large salad and large pizza was over $ 30.00. The portion size was good and we had enough food for the 3 of us. Bricco wasn’t the best pizza we have had in the area but it was still pretty good. I would definitely give Bricco another try and explore the menu. 3.5 Unilocal stars.

Fresh and delicious. Wood fired pizza to perfection. BYOB and kid friendly. I took my family visiting, including niece and nephew(6&9), the server brought dough balls to our table to entertain them. The kids also enjoyed watching the pizzas being made while we waited for our table. Service was great including when my nephew dropped his whole pizza on the floor. They quickly made a new a new one, no worries. Thank you to the staff because he was almost in tears(and hungry). Delicious and I will definitely be returning!

We came here early on a Saturday night after the place we really wanted to try was inexplicably closed. Somehow we walked in just in time to score the next to last booth. The smells were pretty enticing right from our entrance, and from all directions we saw patrons really enjoying their food. There were a few apps that sounded interesting, in the spirit of diplomacy I agreed to sharing the ricotta fritters. They were really good too, a blend of a few different cheeses with perhaps just a bit of risotto to help bind them, the garlic aioli was perfect too. But next time the meatballs will be my choice(more on that soon) We each decided to choose our own pies of the smaller size, hoping that the other would be open to sharing a slice. Trish selected a special of the evening, white Brussels sprout with pancetta. She asked for it to be cooked less crispy than she noticed other tables pies were. It was a solid white too, lots of meat but lacking in the sprout department. I think another sharper cheese other than mozz may have pleased me more. She really enjoyed it, and the thin crust too. This crust has a slightly sourdough taste, the bottom holds up well to toppings, at the same time the outer crust, though it may look burnt, still has a nice chew to it. This was evident in my Carni, pepperoni, sausage and meatballs. I asked them to cook as they normally would, and I was alright with the slight burn marks. The red sauce was flavorful, and the toppings were great. In the future I would probably skip the pepperoni, not because it wasn’t good, but due to its small shape, all the pieces curled up off the pie and became too crispy. I was tempted to point this out to our waitress but after a few bites I decided the rest of the pie was too good to send back. The sausage was very good, and this is an item I use to gauge many places. Better yet was the meatball, super tender and parmy. I’m usually not thrilled with meatballs on my pie, this was probably the best I’ve had on one. The décor was darkish, with a lot of hardwoods used as wall coverings. But a very casual and welcoming vibe. Our waitress was very good, patient with us noobs, and receptive to our special requests. I think on a future visit I would prefer trying a large pie, it was only a few$ more than our personal size, and appeared to be much bigger and a little thicker. My only minor complaint was the cost of the meal, I think $ 13 or so for these tiny pizzas is steep, another place I can think of has this size with unlimited(though lesser quality) toppings for less than $ 10. There seems to be a few other good shops nearby, so we will most likely try them before returning here. Rounding up to 4 thanks to killer meatball Unilocal

Since Angelo’s(Haddonfield), was oddly closed(sign on the door), we found ourselves here. What a great ‘mistake!‘ Such a cute place and the pizza was quite yummy. I made sure I told our waitress to ‘light cook’ mine b/c I noticed all the other pizzas I saw were a bit burnt. Not a bad burnt, but just how the coal fired grill bakes it I suppose. I’ve recently discovered that I LOOOVE brussell sprouts and low and behold — that was the pizza special. Wow was it soooo good. I even ate the crust(only do so also at ‘Three Brothers’ in Ocean City, NJ). Vince had one chock full of meats(a too bit rich for my liking) but the meatballs on it were truly good and mom makes THEBEST — pretty damned hard to measure up to! Our appetizer was yummy as well — see pix. We both agreed that we’d return.

This is a wonderful byob pizza on haddon ave. Pizza is thin crusted cooked in a coal fired oven which we were told takes two hours to reach proper temp. Everything is clean and will presented. Pizza tastes so amazing and makes you want to eat the whole pie yourself. Their appetizers are tasty as well. We had the mozzarella fita which was not too greasy but still had that perfect crunch. Also be sure to try their tomato soup, which is probably the best around.

Solid food. Brick oven pizza. Mac and cheese with pulled pork. So good. BYOB. The place is a smaller joint and from the looks you can come in and grab a slice. I prefer to grab some booze from corks liquor store and dine in. Definitely worth your time.

Started writing my review while I was waiting for my pizza, commenting on the location(great), staff(friendly), and interior(nice), and then took my first bite and realized I needed to start fresh. The pizza here is impregnable(or «delicious» for my more sophisticated readers). Maybe its just my recent adjustment to consuming disappointing pizza due to geographic reasons, but I felt roughly the same satisfaction in my first bite that Harold and Kumar must’ve felt when they finally found white castle, or Neil Patrick Harris. Got a mozzarella pie with sauteed spinach, carmelized onions, mushies, and kalamata olives(the true king of toppings), and found them to be the perfect compliment to a thinner crust, savory marinara pie with mozzarella. Only complaint was that the large pie with toppings was $ 24, which isn’t unreasonable, but felt a little steep.

If there’s is a thing called pizza heaven, this would be it. There’s so much to say about this place all of which are good but I’ll make it short, sweet and to the point. This is definitely a local favorite because on a Friday night it was packed! Families, couples, takeout, it was busy in here. We waiting for 20 minutes or so but not a big deal. Once we were sat we noticed that although the menu was not extremely extensive it was packed with options and different flavors. My friend and I went with an order of the long hots and the mozz fritta both of wish were delicious. The long hots had such a great kick to them and the mozz was fresh and not overly fried. For pizza, we got a large truffle pie. OMG– I can go for a slice right now it was so good. Perfect dough, truffle oil, cheese, mushrooms and arugula. I mean seriously, there is no going wrong with this. Everything about this pizza was fantastic. I may have dreamt about, just maybe… Yum! It’s also Byob! Closes early tho but who cares.

Went here for dinner and it was like the employees had no clue what they were doing. Took 50 minutes to get us our pizza and that shit was cold. Waitress left to get us some more water and never came back… If you’re into cold pizza, nothing to drink, and elementary school-level service, then this is the pizza for you. PS: the pizza was cold as fuck

I have been curious about Bricco ever since I started to work in the area. My friend knows the family who opened the restaurant and has been raving about the pizza non-stop. My boyfriend and I were looking for a local spot to stop in for a late dinner last night, and thought it would be a great opportunity to finally give this place a try. Now I know why my friend is so obsessed with the pizza here– it is SOGOOD. We ordered the white pie with garlic, clams, arugula and prosciutto. The crust was perfectly thin, and all of the ingredients really worked well together. It was great salty, spicy, sweet and sour combination– definitely some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. We also got the mac and cheese with pork appetizer. The macaroni and cheese itself was solid, but the addition of the pork was what made it memorable. I haven’t had pulled pork that tasty in a long time! The menu is pleasantly surprising. There are great appetizer choices, sandwiches, salads, etc. — really something for everyone. I like how they stick with a classic pizza shop vibe and allow customers to create their own pizzas with whatever ingredients they want. They also offer a ton of their own pizzas creations(like the clam one we ordered). The service wasn’t amazing. Our waiter forgot to get us wine glasses after we asked a couple of times, and he seemed a bit off. That is the only reason I am giving 4 stars, not 5. Overall I was impressed with the food and can’t wait to come back!

Wow, their pie was surprisingly delicious. It’s got great competition with NYC pies, that’s how impressed my husband and I was. My toddler, who is a picky eater, was actually enjoying the pizza. She kept asking for more, which is a rarity. We ordered a margarita pie with pesto sauce on it. OMG… Soo FREAKING delicious/yummy in your tummy(hanging out with toddler too much). It was so dn good that we ordered another pie when there was still 4 more slices to go. We were very impressed with their pizza n we couldn’t believe it. I had, also, ordered the chicken wings. They were great, but not at a dollar a piece. The pizza is what u truly come here for. You will not regret this place. The next time we are in the area, we are dining. We’re coming back with a bigger empty stomach, especially my toddler, she loves your pizza… coming all the way from NYC.

Three stars, all for quality of food, two stars off for quality of service. I REALLY wanted this cute, small neighborhood BYOB to be the best place I’ve ever been, it just didn’t quite make it there. On the plus side, everything we ate was incredible. My boyfriend and I only waited 5 – 8 minutes to be seated at 8pm on a Friday night, and started with the ricotta zucchini fritters(I was expecting like vegetable mozzarella sticks, but they were more like broccoli cheese bites). Hot, fresh, really awesome garlic aioli to dip in. My boyfriend had the Tuscan Cubano sandwich(pulled pork, ham, delicious Dijon mustard on delicious bread-it was seriously GOOD) and I had the Milano pizza(similarly awesome-the crust was crisp and thin but not burnt at all like I’ve read in other groups). I would come back based on the food alone. Service wasn’t a great package, though. It was really busy and loud, but it’s Friday so it was expected. We got hot water glasses(straight out of the dish washer hot), and got the same glasses for our wine, yuck. My boyfriends sandwich came out with the appetizer and we legit waited 25 minutes after that for the pizza, so we didn’t end up eating together. Because the place is so small, there was TONS of movement between the back kitchen and front where they make the meals-dishes, bags of cheese being walked through the dining area, etc, which was awkward. They should figure out a Better way to give guests a dining experience that doesn’t make them feel like they’re sitting in the back kitchen, imho.

I’m going for 3& ½ stars for the moment. When I head back, and I will, I hope to have a better experience… I’ll get right down to it: Arancini– Delicious & perfectly fried with the right amount of stuffins. BUT the truffle aioli actually tasted like tartar sauce. Odd, but it paired well. So not sure if we got the wrong sauce or what happened there lol Mac & Cheese– unfortunately over cooked and not a whole lotta flavor. — — — — — – Onto the pies Short Rib– flavor was great but it was missing something creamy to it. More cheese, or a white sauce, or even an egg would have added the extra oomph I was looking for. Carni– incredibly tasty and this is why I will be coming back to try more. Meaty with a right amount of sauce and the crust was just perfect. We didn’t know specifically when they were closing, but we sure as hell knew they were trying to get us out. Yes, we were the last ones in there, but I was in my car by 9:45.and I just checked that they close at 9:30. Please let me finish my wine without feeling like I’m being an absolute burden to you.

I love Bricco, first of all its BYOB all day everyday so bring your wine bring your beer. I have been to Bricco probably 4 times in the last month and still have not gotten tired of it. In addition anyone I have taken or recommended to go here have really enjoyed it. While I am a meat eater at heart, I do have to say my favorite pizza here might have to be the margarita, which is so basic, but they make it taste amazing. I have also tried 5 other pizzas all good, but make sure you read the menu carefully, I ordered the Carni, which was great, but had no cheese. Also the salads are fantastic here, great place for a date. Pizza are between 12 – 20 bucks. Parking is free but can be hard to find at times.
