Recently moved from Norwalk so I am really missing good cheap authentic tacos, this place used to be very good but the tacos are too expensive and burritos don’t come with much for being $ 8. I now only ever get one thing, the torta de Melanesia. Again used to be better and very expensive but I live so close so I go when I’m hungry last minute

This place definitely needs a big sign out in front, because it is hidden from the main street(Goldenwest) But, otherwise I was satisfied with everything! I had a carnitas and an Asada taco. The carnitas was so delicious and the Asada wasn’t bad either. Also, the tacos were on regular sized tortillas. Not the small taqueria size. I would come back here again :)

Carne asada burrito, I ask for no beans… They didn’t give me onion or celantro either… or maybe there burritos don’t come with it??? The burrito itself was 80% rice 15% meat and 5% cheese for 7.29., would not recommend this place, I make a better burrito and I’m not Mexican!!!

This place tastes alright. It’s a bit pricey, but my main reason for not getting food from here is because they have been closed down several times for roach infestation.

I’ve been going to this place for about twenty years. This place use to be my favorite Mexican good place and I’d look forward to eating here. They use to have excellent food especially their cantinas sopes. I went today with my daughter and I was very disappointed! Their sopes are not moist — bread and the carnitas was dry. I thought my teeth were going to break the bread was do hard. They use to be moist and the serving was huge with pico de gallo. I will not be returning to this place was disappointed and now sad. I’ll be looking for a New Mexican place that has the sopes that taco mi pueblo use to have. If any one knows or has suggestions for a good spot please let me know.

Chiliqilles that were supposed to be mild were to hot, and left my mouth burning. We ordered two and one had an egg and the other didn’t. Wouldn’t come back, was expensive for what it was.

This place needs a bright lit sign outside of it so people can find it. There’s no sign that even tells you the name of the restaurant, how the hell is anyone supposed to know that there’s a Mexican restaurant here in this office like building?! Literally, its under an office building between a mechanic shop and a 711. You wouldn’t believe it but they serve a mean torta here. I also tried the hardshell tacos but they weren’t that great to be honest. The chicken was dry because i think they use boneless skinless chicken breast’s and the tortilla that they used wasn’t that great either. The salsa’s are very good here. The dude offered me this hot ass salsa that he kept in the back. You know it’s good salsa when he brings it from the kitchen and serves it to you personally. I really want to try the borritos, then I’ll give an update.

Me and some friends used to ditch class and hang out here for an extended lunch. Popular place with the high schoolers. I liked the taquitos. Everything I ever had here was great! This place is the real deal. delicious

Heard recommendations from a few of my classmates and decided to give it a try with a couple of my friends after school. For $ 1.99 a taco I expected a glorious taco filled with juicy meat and fresh vegetables. Meat & veggie wise, it was decent. But the overall taco was lacking flavor, and not to mention pretty tiny. I also decided to try out their carne asada fries. The fries were soggy due to the guacamole, but it tasted OK regardless. OVERALLEXPERIENCE: –Pretty pricey, for high schoolers without a job anyways. –Was it worth it? For me, not really.

I was here with my girl on a Friday afternoon after school right across the street. We ordered 6 carne asada steak tacos and a large horchata to go. I asked for some sauces and the woman gave me some little cups of it. Okay, good so far. We go to the park to enjoy our food together and open the bag and take out one taco each to discover that they were both chicken tacos… Eating them and opening them one at a time, we prayed and hoped that the rest were carne asada steak… How wrong and how heavily each chicken taco hurt us!!! Not only THAT, but they weren’t even fu**ing good!!! Mother F! Us Poor highschool students who saved just enough for this cheap date will never eat here again. 1 star for the horchata though… I’d come back only for that!

little spot i used to go to in high school. still try to stop by when I’m in the area. Great food, with quality and taste. I get the carne asada burrito or carne asada nachos and they do the job well when u got some munchies. I take take out so i usually don’t stick around but when I’m waiting for my food the place is clean quiet place with some nice flat screens showing a soccer game or something. after around 10 min I’m gone and off to destroy what has been made for me. Good meat, none of that fatty kind of steak at other taquerias. So try it out!

Been eating here many years ago when I still went to school at Westminster High. I love their pollo asada fries with everything. The cheese isn’t the cheesiest where it stretches out but still taste great when freshly made and hot. I also like eating their chicken tacos. Their Horchatas are definitely my favorite place to drink it.

Breakfast Burrito rules here! A little tip for all you WHS students. You can ditch class, hide out in here and grab a bite to eat. It’s all good. The guys working won’t throw you out and you can smoke cigs here out front here. Miss those days
