Springdale Self Serve Car Wash

I’ve been stopping by here for years, & I’ve never been dissatisfied.
It’s adjacent to a freeway, & share a parking lot w/​both a really awesome bar, & a legendary donut shop in that area.
Drying is free, but I would suggest taking your time washing your car.
They are one of the few locations that has invested in high quality spray guns, & a better series of cleaning compounds.
The man that runs the spot has been there for years, & he’s pretty awesome.
I’ve seen him walking around, joking w/​people, helping them w/​what there doing, & giving away a random item from one of the dispensing machinges.
I sop by all the time, & don’t see that habit changing any time soon.

My first time going to a self washing carwash. I usually vacuum and clean my car at home. So I decided to go here and try it out. They have everything and you don’t have to bring anything unless you want to save a couple cents on towels to clean your car. I wasn’t familiar with the whole process of this place, so I spent around under $ 8.00. I paid for soaping my car, rinsing, vacuuming, towel and an air fresher. Better price then the average charge at a carwash. Go here if you aren’t lazy and want to save money !

I came here because I was in the area and had some oil on my hood. Right when I pulled in, I noticed the free vacuum signs. These are indeed free, but they’re only free for a certain amount of time throughout the day. I was there around 3PM, so it wasn’t bad.
The only downfall to this place is that the wash bays have no clock to let you know when you’re about to be out of time. You’ll just notice the pressure from the hose is gone and that’s it. The vacuum hose is a bit weak though, compared to other places I’ve been to. Nonetheless, it’s free and does get the job done, just takes a bit more time.
Other than those minor gripes, this place deserves a 5.
Minor tip for the clock — I forgot how much time they said it is per dollar/​quarter, but use that and input it into your phone’s timer. That’s your digital readout right there. :)

I really loved this car wash… I’m old school and love to scrub and deeply wash my car on my own. I saved lots of bucks and it’s fun. Especially when it is free vacumming!!! This is the first time EVER that I’ve been to a self car wash with free vacumming. Nothing can beat that, I am making this my regular self car wash. I’m really glad I moved to this area! ^.^ I really think, people who are curious, should ignore the negative comments.. Try it for yourself. Just because it’s not digital, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t get the job done. Its a self car wash, you’re in charge of leaving the car sparkling clean. Soap is great quality and the water rinses well. Can’t complain.:)

This place offers FREE VACUUMING!

USER BEWARE! I came here recently to wash my car. I put 4 quarters in the vacuum machine to vacuum my car. Nothing happened. I walked to the door where, presumably, the attendant or owner goes when/​if they come. No contact number, no address, nothing whatsoever advising you how to recover lost money. Think I tried another vacuum? Nope. I wasn’t going to give these rip-​offs one more cent of my money. I went elsewhere to vacuum/​wash my car.

Convenient place to wash your vehicle, but real old fashion. No digital count timers to let you know how much time you have. The spot free rinse is anything but spot free. Leaves a lot of water spots. There are a bunch of Tweakers living in the upstairs apartments just over the wall. One of my favorite things to do is to stop in at 4am and turn the vacuums on. Best dollar I have spent.

I usually go to the Oasis Car Wash on Euclid and I must say, this place is AS good for the following reasons:
— Yes it lacks a digital timer like Oasis does, but its the same quality nontheless
— It’s CHEAPER than Oasis. I like that they take actual quarters instead of having to convert quarters into tokens.
Basically, Springdale lacks all the flash of all the other Self Serve Car Washes, but its great and works just as well as any other
