Love this nail salon! Everyone there is very friendly, accommodating, and entertaining. They do very honest work and I would certainly recommend them. Anthony did my nails and even took off the nail polish on my toes for free, he was very nice, easy to talk to, and he did a great job!

First time here, Went in today and they took my grandmother and I right away! Anthony and Kim helped us and I really loved how they took good care of my Grandma and made sure she was comfortable. As for the mani/​pedi she got acrylic and I got gel nail and we both were very satisfied. They really took their time and wanted us to love our nails! Good prices too, I’m glad I checked Unilocal before going to the place up the street.

I hate to be a negative Nancy, but this place wasn’t good at all.
Came here one afternoon because I was desparately needing to get my nails done for an event I was attending. My normal nail salon did not have openings, so I searched on the Unilocal app and called this place to make a last min appointment and went. First, this place is not clean, and run down. The floor were dirty and the carpeted area looked like they haven’t been vacuum in ages, not a great first impression. The prices are very reasonable, standard pedi/​mani $ 18, spa pedi/​mani $ 23. My normal salon charges only $ 20 for spa pedi/​mani but whatever.
I had one person working on my feet while another person worked on my hands. The person that worked on my feet did a good job filing, shaping, but the scrub part was very superficial and I still had patches of dead skin when I left. Also, the feet & calf massage was very short compared to my normal salon. The person that did my finger nails was not very good at all. She sat on the same side of the spa chair and basically made me twist my body 90 degrees the entire time which gave me a very sore back and shoulders. The proper way is for her to move to the other side of the spa chair to work on the other hand. The massage was also very short and superficial, didn’t even clean my arms before slapping on the lotion. Also, she only applied 2 very thin layers of polish instead of 3, so under the sunlight I can see streak marks on my nails.
They also charge 50c extra if you pay by credit card. I’m definitely NOT coming back.

First time being at this place and was so happy with the way my nails turned out. Usually I’m disappointed but not this time Tony did a great job on my nails and Kim did an awesome job on my sister’s nails. They are cheap and provide great customer service definitely coming back here. Plus its walking distance :)

I went to this place off of the review from Unilocal.I have to say it is hidden in a shopping center so I really don’t know haw the survived but on the note they do and that is because man (Tom) who does the nails shoes a amazing job. He was very careful and asked me several times if my nails were ok. He was very friendly. So for him I give 4 stars. Now in the look of the shop it was cluttered and dusty. The lady who did my eyebrows ok just ok. I think I will go back to my normal lady for my brows. About over they were all very friendly and inviting.

Our family has been going to Shine Salon since it first opened in 2002. It is located right next to The Rinks Westminster ice rink. Tina is awesome and does amazing designs on my nails! Kim does a great job on pedicures! Lisa is a fantastic hair stylist and is very friendly! I feel very welcomed at Shine Salon and look forward to my visits every 3 weeks! You won’t be disappointed!

I decided to try out this nail salon, due to the other nail salon I normally go to closes on Monday. But I’m so glad I’d stop by here, Tina did a great job on my french tip acrylic. The ladies there are both very friendly. They made me feel welcome. This place is kind of hidden, just FYI it’s a plaza. This place was cheap and decent. Ask for Tina or Kim, both great nail technicians you won’t be disappointed. This nail and hair salon is pretty nice inside. Im so glad I found this place, I will definitely be coming back! :)

I made an appointment with Tina after she was referred to me by a friend. She was very friendly and skillful. There is a limited selection of colors to choose from for gel manicures, but enough basic colors to satisfy the average person. My gel manicure lasted for approximately two weeks. Not the longest, but for $ 15.50, the price can’t be beat! I will be back.

I am a natural blonde who needs a bit of help keeping the color right these days. Lisa at Shine always gets it right and leaves me with color that blends naturally with the roots that grow out — i don’t have to see her as often as I used to in order to keep the color looking great. Also recommend the mani/​pedi and eyebrow waxing — it’s all good. The girls here are friendly and appointments are easy to get and you never feel rushed.
