Let me start off by saying I absolutely love their tofu here and this is my go to place on days that I don’t eat meat, so I feel really bad for leaving a bad review. However, on a particular visit, I was definitely unhappy. Just like any other day, I wanted to just come in and get my order of regular fried tofu, lemongrass with chili tofu, and my two-item combo. As I entered, the older lady who always helps me along with two younger girls were sitting on the tables to the left eating ice cream because there were no customers in there. I just walked up to the display and waited for them. I stood and stood and finally one of the girls walked over behind the counter. She then proceeds to help a guy who came in after me. After helping him she went and grabbed her ice cream she had left on a counter. She told the other girl to help me now because her ice cream is melting. The other girl said, «No! You help her! Last time I was helping everyone and my ice cream was melting too!» It was such a joke. I’m just standing there amazed, watching them shout back and forth. Completely unacceptable. It would literally take no longer than a minute or two to help me then I could be on my way and she could go back to eating her ice cream, but no. & just because the guy before me wanted his tofu in the same container as his food doesn’t mean I want it the same way. She should pack it how they normally pack it. When I saw that she was about to pack it together with the combo items, I asked if she could put it separately and she letted of this big scoff and said, «Omg, this person wants this and that person wants that.» I’m thinking really? She should just stick to letting the older lady sell and sit back and eat ice cream if she has such a bad attitude because she’s scaring people away. Also, the tofu pieces have gotten a lot smaller! I come here quite often and kind of notice the difference.

Hands down favorite fried tofu place that I’ve been to so far. Even though it’s my favorite I’m giving it 4⁄5 stars because they tend to run out of fried tofu very quickly and do not produce it fast enough which leads to a longer wait time. Cash only. Fried tofu isn’t as «stiff» which is what I like. Edit August 2015: They changed the name of this place and now it’s strictly a vegetarian food place. tofu doesn’t taste the same. Still cash only. Not much of a selection for tofu or soyabean drinks.

I’m only docking one star because I recently picked up a jug of soy milk and it’s not that great. I think maybe it’s too watered down? It just doesn’t have the richness that I appreciate from fresh, Asian style soymilk. Otherwise, the tofu is STILL the bomb dot com. Picked up 24 pieces of the onion/mushroom tofu and over the course of the afternoon I ate half of it. Facepalm.

Update: I’ve been here countless times since last reviewing this place, though it’s quite the drive, and felt I needed to downgrade their rating. While still tasty, they’ve really dropped the quality. My favorite – and their best selling – mushroom/vermicelli fried tofu is practically plan now! There’s been an uptick in business, so maybe the owner figures it’s going to sell regardless(she’s right, because I’m still coming back), but it’s definitely not deliciously filled like it used to be! Disappointing, but that’s what happens with mom-and-pop shops – they can drop the quality as they see fit.

If you’re looking for fresh delicious tofu that has variety, tofu pudding, vegetarian dishes, fresh soy milk. THIS is the place to be! The owners of this place are super duper nice and I have yet to have a less than outstanding experience here! The tofu comes in three flavors– plain, mushroom, and lemongrass and I would have to say the mushroom is my absolute favorite! The vermicelli and tiny mushroom bits are delicious with a bit of spicy soy sauce and we practically eat it with everything. Pairs well as a side, with noodles, for breakfast– it’s pretty much great for bfast, lunch, or dinner! AND it’s cheap! Six pieces or something like that for $ 1 is a STEAL. Tofu pudding is also a favorite of mine and it’s a dessert that’s really refreshing either hot or cold! It comes in two sizes and generally I get the large for two people to finish within a couple of days. I love the ginger sugar water it comes with and it’s very sweet so I usually water it down with water or plain soy milk. Their tofu pudding is yummy and the only thing is that you have to finish it fast or else it starts having this sour taste after 4+ days. I also always always grab a bottle of their soy milk when coming here. It’s really fresh and nothing like the fake tasting grocery store bought soy milk! They sell it both sweetened and unsweetened, but really you could just bring back an unsweetened one and sweeten it on your own if you want a more customizable level of sweetness. Can’t speak for the asian dishes they sell there, but they always look good and the fact that they’re all vegetarian is kind of great. Definitely a place to try out if you’re around the area and feeling a craving for soy things!

Delicious, Healthy, cheap, 100% organic fried or steam tofu. Soybean milk, and sweet soybean silken tofu with ginger sauce! YUM! If you don’t like tofu, you might have to give it a try, and you might change your mind. I’ve never eaten anything fried and so good, and doesn’t make me feel so guilty after eating it. :-P Sigh…(If everything fried can make us feel this way) When I’m here, I get the Fried onion, Mushroom and Vermicelli Tofu– 6 pieces for $ 1 — If you eat it fresh when they make it, it is soooo good! Silken soybean tofu with ginger sauce is a great healthy and light dessert. $ 1.50 for small size and $ 3.00 for large size. Fresh soybean milk, sweet or unsweetened ½ gallon is $ 2.50 and one gallon size is for $ 4.25. The best thing about this place is it is open on Sundays too and everyday until 8pm! Cash Only! If you like tofu and soybean, this place is a must stop if you are in the Westminster area. For those who lives in the area…, Lucky!!!

Woot! This place is awesome! Home of the $ 1.00 bowl of fresh, piping hot sweet tofu pudding dessert! For a mere dollar, you are served a decent sized bowl of hot tofu with either ginger sauce or coconut milk. I checked out this place while walking around the night-time Tet market. There’s only one table inside the joint, but all the items are packaged for take-out anyway. During the day, you can find fresh tofu fried/cooked in many different flavors/variations, while at night time, it seems more appropriate for them to sell the dollar tofu dessert. There are several different sizes of their famous soymilk — from bottle to jug to gallon. The flavor is rich, creamy and not too sweet(unlike other places that add too much sugar). Cash only, but everything here is cheap. Parking up front may be hard to find during the more popular hours, as this place shares a strip mall with like 10 other businesses, but there’s parking usually in the back as well.

Surprisingly this place is good! I was skeptical at first. I had originally gone next door to get my ao dai made and the husband saw this place and wanted to get some for dinner. We ordered all three kinds and went home and ate it with some rice… delicious!

**CASHONLY*** Tofu here is so tasty & cheap. =) much tastier than Thanh Son Tofu… What more could you ask for??? All of their tofu is so yummy & makes for a great snack =) Fried lemongrass Tofu(6 pieces for $ 1) — lightly fried cubes w/tender creamy tofu on the inside w/a hint of chili on the outside. These are not overpowered by lemongrass or chili… Onion, Mushroom & Vermicelli Tofu(6 pieces for $ 1) — Softer & more tender than the Lemongrass tofu; but were just as tasty & yummy =) Plain tofu —(Fried, 8 pieces for $ 1) — Pretty plain/No flavor compared to the other two but still crunchy & yummy. Uncooked Slab of Tofu–(1 for $ 1&5 for $ 4): one size, medium firm, bean flavor not as strong & the flavor is not as clean as Thanh Son, but cooks well, stays firm yet creamy… Fresh Soy Milk — 2 options: Unsweetened(Yellow Cap) & Sweetened(Red Caps):(½ gallon /1 gallon options) Fresh sweet tofu pudding with sugar(Ginger/Coconut milk).yummo =) They also sell a variety of Vietnamese desserts & hot vegetarian to go foods here too. =) Parking is not a problem here since there’s plenty of spaces to park. =)

Thanh Son is great, but this place is greater. They don’t use GMO which is a plus. Soybean Milk(Unsweetened=Yellow Cap/Sweetened=Red Cap): Both are more flavorful than Thanh Son. They don’t put a date on any of the bottles, but everytime we buy one they are fresh and keep for over a week and a half. Fried Tofu: Delicious. Toss this with some roast pork belly or vegetable, or eat as a snack. Onion, Mushroom, Vermicelli Tofu: Delicious. Unfried Tofu Block: Delicious and great for mao pao tofu. Tofu Pudding: Awesome tofu with an awesome gingery syrup sauce that packs a ginger punch. Cheap, fresh, friendly service, and great tofu products. Don’t hate till you try. Parking ain’t a bitch either. CLOSEDTUESDAY

Was craving tofu dessert and thanks to Unilocal it led me here! Sadly my first visit was on Tuesday morning and I was excited to try their tofu out, but I ended up finding out that they’re open everyday EXCEPTTUESDAY! :(Bummed I went home and came back Wednesday morning and they were open w/steaming hot fresh tofu! Their food items in food warmers don’t look at that appealing, but the tofu is awesome Soybean milk SWEETENED(red cap) — bought a 16oz bottle of this for $ 1 and IT’S THEBESTSOYMILKEVER! I’ve had some before at those asian vietnamese supermarkets but this one is the best. It’s not too sweet and tastes refreshing. I ended up coming back w/my dad to buy a bigger jug Soybean Milk UNSWEETENED(YELLOWCAP) — $ 1 for the 16oz bottle. Maybe if I had tried this before the sweetened one I would’ve liked it, but since I drank the sweet one first, this one tasted a bit bland. Tofu Pandan Dessert — LOVEITHERE. There’s no ARTIFICIALFOODCOLORINGTOMAKEITGREEN! they use real pandan leaves and you can totally smell it. It was really yummy w/the ginger syrup! Right amount of sweetness w/spice blended. The coconut milk with it was also good, but it was really light compared to the coconut milk you get at che places Overall VERY reasonable priced organic tofu & soybean. I didn’t give them 5 stars because there are no labels on their soybean milk so how the hell do we know when they expire or how fresh it is?!

If anyone is ever interested in great tasting Vietnamese Chay(vegetarian dishes mainly using tofu as the main ingredient) style cooking, fast and quick, to-go style. NHV Tofu is the spot! Why you may ask, very simple! 5) Parking is abundance if visiting on weekdays, but of course always hectic during prime time weekends. but never an issue for me! 4) Althought the place is small, it still has that inviting atmosphere. Has about 8 chairs and 2 tables, but again this is a to-go place. 3) The owners and their family are truly down to earth people and are always so hospitable. Service with a smile is always good to see these days! 2) «Organic Soy Bean!» need I say more! But you cannot miss; a) NHV Tau Hu Duong(warm tofu with ginger sweet syrup Viet style. tastes so much better when it is organic! BTW. I suggest eating it when it is warm and fresh. b) NHV fried cube stuffed with goodies tofu. amazing and healthy! c) NHV all«chay» entrees. d) NHV«Organic» nuoc mia(sugar cane drink)!! So sweet and so good. but without the guilt! 1) Did I mentioned that the«owners» are amazing people? Thanks to them, now I know where I can get my healthy vegetarian and all-time Tau Hu Duong fixing! Thanks Unilocalers for the great suggestions! ;0)

I went here for the first time last weekend and have to say that it is a really great find. I was curious to stop by and try it because it is an all vegetarian take out food place, not something that you see everyday! But it was definitely NOT what you would expect from your usual To– Go eatery. They have an extensive selection of vegetarian foods from fried tofu to vegetarian PHO! I was able to try a few things on the menu and found that the quality you get from what you pay is exceptional. Each bowl is about $ 4-$ 6 and drinks are $ 3 Everything is VERY flavorful and has a homey feel to it. Among my favorite things there were: Freshly made tofu Red and Yellow Curry Egg rolls Passionfruit smoothie Overall the food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be visiting here again to get my vegetarian/tofu fix!

I tried the soft tofu sweet dessert with gingery syrup. YUM! I love that the syrup is more gingery than any other place that makes this kind of dessert. The steam table is also improved. The food was warmer. At the time I was there, they have vegetarian spring rolls, the fried one(eggroll without egg). It is 50 cents each and was so delicious. I love it. I love their Vietnamese curry, too. Still love their fresh tofu. It has become a place I visit often.

I LOVE that this place serves organic and GMO-free soy products! There has been concerns about soy products with GMO, where they are unnatural/modified and unsafe, which kind of defeats the point of trying to eat healthy?! Not only can I trust the soy products here, the tofu and soy milk is made daily and tastes great. I’m not vegetarian and I’ve never tried their vegetarian dishes. However, I am a soy enthusiast and this place is legit. I recommend their fried tofu, sweet tofu dessert, and soy milk!

Best sweet tofu dessert in the States! I was completely stoked bumping into this place. Their tofu is very soft and silky, and better yet, you buy it hot. It is cooked and kept warm in a big pot, and get scooped into those styrofoam containers only when you order it. The ginger syrup is very good, too. The abundance of ginger can give you a kick of spiciness and make the syrup feel less sugary. Imagine slurping the warm tofu doused with generous amounts of ginger syrup in a cold weather. Sounds guilty, I know, but worth a try. If you don’t like ginger, they have plain syrup and coconut milk too. I ate their sweet tofu dessert and nothing else for my dinner. Yes, it’s that good.

A vegetarian’s palace. Very clean newer place w/excellent service. They have a huge variety of vietnamese to-go food. I had a chance to try the curry. Very tasty. The stuffed biter melon was very good too. But what they specialize in is their tofu. I already love tofu, but stuffed tofu. Wow.
