Carl’s Jr.

Done going to this Carl’s Jr. Every other time I go here they forget something on my order, charge me wrong, or it takes forever, or something. Part of it is my bad, I should know to check. But the reason I go there is because I’m in a hurry and don’t think to check. This morning it was two sausage biscuit and a large hashbrown, pretty simple. Got home no hash browns, it was 3 items!

I just moved back here about 6 wks ago from the Dallas, TX area. I had a previous bad experience (S) at this location but, I do believe in 2^nd chances. That said — this is WHERE IT ENDS… It was a nightmare from start to finish… Pull up in the drive thru to the speaker and start placing my order and I mentioned I had a couple of coupons to use. I place the order for the first item and I then say to the employee… Do you need the coupon number? to which he says «I need you to pull up to the window and I will take your order there. I do that and I asked him why and he said I had you place your order here at the window because of the coupons — I am like what? I have never heard of that and every other time I use coupons I just give the coupon numbers to the employees back at the speaker. He was like «Well it’s real busy and I can’t do all of it at once. He took my coupons, I gave our debit card (well my mom’s) — yes we were both together and she handed me the debit card to hand to the guy to pay. Then he shut the window for several minutes — he then gives the food after several minutes and that IS IT.
FAST FORWARD abt 15 minutes when I am at another store — we go to get in line and PAY and we discover THE IDIOT did not give us the debit card back. I drive back down the street back to this carls jr and go inside and say «We did not get our debit card back!» so the manager and a couple of other employees start looking, they look in the safe and around. They ask if it is one from America First — No it is from Cyprus Credit union — so looking again and she says
(the manager or shift lead on duty) says I do not see it. Well I am like You better keep looking and find it because we have looked everywhere — in our purses, car and everywhere several times and we do not have it. So she looks more and all the while still helping customers (as they should). The other suspicious thing is — that the KID/​employee who waited on us in the drive thru I saw him again for a couple of seconds and THEN HE WAS GONE — it was like he was no where and like he knew what he did and what was up and went to hide out in the back of the store. The manager was doing his job so he could hide out., finally after me standing there for 15– 20 min the manager was like I can’t find it and I am not sure what you want me to do? I told her to check with the employee who waited on us at the drive thru. she knows who that is. she was like «oh yeah I asked him and he said he don’t have it or know where it is.» to which I said of course he said that — he is not going to admit to anything! ultimately I told them that I will be referring this to their corporate offices and filing theft charges as her employee clearly after he swiped my mother’s card. Just kept it… I can see if it was left behind and a employee says to management «hey this was left behind» and it get’s put in the safe and or just left in a secure place by a register so when someone comes back. I can see that and see at that point how it would be a mistake. But, it turns suspicious when you go back and the employee in question is no where around and you know he is still on shift., and then magically it disappears and then there is the denial about the whole thing.
I usually go to the resturaunt in magna as that is where I live. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION IN WEST VALLEY CITY AGAIN– never! I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS AT ANY OTHER CARLS JR.
CAN WE SAY DISHONESTY AND THIEF??? NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AND GO THRU THE DRIVE THRU IF PAYING WITH A DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD– you may never get it back and it will disappear and no one will know nothing about it.

Like this place a lit. Employees are very friendly and efficient when it comes to getting your order correct. Food is always good and fresh, you can tell that it has not been sitting like most fast food places.

Carl’s Junior is Carl’s Junior. They do have the best fast-​food burger around, in my opinion. And for $ 1.29 — can’t beat that!
This location is in ghetto West Valley, but you know what? The workers are SO friendly! Yesterday, my cashier was so happy and smiling and laughing. I’m thoroughly impressed. My burger was cooked fresh and delicious.
