In-N-Out really has to work hard to earn less than 4 stars. They have really cornered the market on a consistently superior experience, and their facility in West Sacramento is another perfect example of this effort. This location is conveniently located off Interstate 80 at Reed Ave in the IKEA/Walmart power center. The staff is friendly as usual, and the regular menu is served fresh and cheap. This location has less outside seating than normal, but most people probably hit them up drive-thru style these days. If the other locations in Davis and Natomas are packed, you may have better luck here — although you may spend more time at IKEA!

My daughter picked up dinner for us tonight, these have got to be the worst fries I’ve ever seen, from any fast food joint. I guess In-n-out figures that if you’re in the drive through, they can get rid of the extremely over fried fries.

Good food with a classic 1950s diner feel. The milkshakes were particularly delicious(order half chocolate, half vanilla!) My only critique is that I thought the fries were simply average– didn’t quite match with the hype that In-N-Out gets.

The very first in-n-out to let me leave with a bad taste in my mouth!!! I’m literally writing this review at 4am because I’m at a lost of sleep, due to being so peeved at the service I’ve received! My daughter and I decided to grab dinner at in n out after a long day of swimming in which we go to the west sac location because the Elk Grove location is normally busier… We order our and get our food as normal, when I noticed one of the employees touching my car… Mind you, this is around 9pm on a Sunday night… And anyone with Google can look up the weather for west sac on 5⁄29 and see that the weather was between 65 – 70 degrees… The employee walks in and announces a question of whom the owner of a black Nissan was…(This was me of course). I walk up and asks what the problem was, and she announces your dog is crying…(This was typical of my dog, because she did not like being alone, much like most dogs) I walk her to my car, and let her know this is some sort of misunderstanding, I would never put my dog in harm’s way… I open the car door for her, and told her she can sit and or feel inside… You can feel the coolness of my car… The employee declines and demands that I not eat inside while my dog is in the car… I said this is ridiculous, I asked if she was speaking on behalf of in n out or herself? She answered as an animal lover against animal cruelty… Really!!! She wouldn’t test the conditions herself, but she was readily able to announce such a bold accusation??? To save myself from further embarrassment in the presence of my daughter, I told my daughter that we’ll just finish our food in the car… Mind you, again, it was actually so cool I weather temperature that my daughter was wearing a jacket while in the car… And while we are eating in the car… Guess what happens next??? We are approached by the police!!! They actually called the cops on us!!! When approached by the police, he simply asks is everything ok, and I answer to my knowledge it is… He looks at me, my car, my dog, and my daughter, then walks away… THEEMBARRASSMENT!!! Especially in front of my daughter! Thank god she was there, otherwise I would have acted a fool! As much as I love in n out, this experience alone will turn me away from this specific establishment, and maybe from the company as a whole for good!

I’ve been a huge fan of in n out since I was a kid and ever since I can remember they have always had the best fries and burgers. From the fresh cut fries to the double double and even their simple hamburgers are the best. The one here in West Sacramento is right by my place and I’m there about 4 times a week and just like all the other ones I’ve been to, they had great customer service! I’m glad to know that every in n out has the same customer service and efficiency unlike other fast food places where some are more rude than others.

4 stars because of the INSANELY affordable price. And by affordable I mean generously priced. Seriously. In-N-Out’s burgers are really good, and their fries and shakes are good! But to be honest, Shake Shack has way better quality, but then again, it is insanely overpriced and expensive. Go here for a quick meal, but don’t expect to eat the best burger/fries/shake of your life!

In n Out is the same simple goodness no matter which one you dine at. All good. All the time.

Another one of those reliable chains when you can’t cook yourself. 4 meats, no bread, both onions and no sauce. YUM-YUM!

Loveeeee In n Out in general. Everyones so friendly & always smiling. When i come to this particular in n out ppl even pick up our trash when they see us finished eating which is extremely nice. The only time ive noticed this in n out gets packed is during lunch time other than that u can go pick up food & be out within 10 minutes unlike most in n outs ive been too. Foods always fresh & the restaurant is always clean af.

Thank you, In-N-Out for contacting me and apologizing for the terrible service I received. I am absolutely a fan of companies who will provide service recovery, I am very happy! Thank you!

I love In-n-Out and have been eating at them all my 67 years. When I was born Mom made Dad go through the original location on the way home from the hospital with me. Hospital food for 3 days was enough for her. What is always a 5 star visit for me was tarnished by fries that were only kind of warm. The cheese burger was a 5 as were the hot chiles.

Perhaps the best fastfood burger you can buy. Because it does not tastes like fast food. It’s a freshly made burger that takes a few minutes for them to assemble but it tastes fresh. There is a McDonalds across the parking lot — what’s the point?

Had my first in n out burger in SoCal a long time ago. I was really happy when they came up north. Always good. Always fresh. Always delicious. Only complaint would be the WAIT! It’s pure torture!

Upon entering the restaurant, the foyer smelled horrible. Think of B.O. plus onion stank. We ordered our food at 9:46pm. There was no line inside, barely a line at their drive thru and it took over 20 minutes to get our food. We had to walk up to the register to ask about our food. We have never experienced slow service at any other In-n-Out restaurants, even when their lines were long. There were flies on the inside windows that I couldn’t help staring at while I was eating. Needless to say, I lost my appetite. The window sill was filthy. Someone should take a towel to it and wipe it down. I went into the women’s restroom and it smelled like a third world country fish market. Nasty! I went to each stall, ALL the toilets were not flushed, all filled with tissue and excrement. Floors were sticky. If your restaurant is slow, assign an employee to check your restrooms hourly and clean the restaurant! I like In-n-Out, just not this one… this obviously reflects on management.

I came in here with a pretty complicated burger order the other day and was super impressed! My order? A cheeseburger with extra of everything(minus the meat and cheese cuz thats extra) WHOLE grilled onions(I don’t really care for those little minced ones that are grilled i feel like they don’t taste like anything) on an extra toasted bun. My bf ordered the double double animal style with whole grilled onions as well. Anyways the cashier took our order without complaint, I’m pretty sure that if I attempted a similar order at another chain it would have been met with a few eye rolls and who knows what else… Lol We probably had to wait a little longer than usual but it was well worth it. Burgers were great. The cashier even asked how our burgers were and said that they worked extra hard on them. I love that the workers at In n Out are so pleasant, the place is clean, food is fresh, price is good, what more could you ask for? I will be back… ;)

I love in-n-out burger! This one always has friendly staff and the food is always so fresh tasting. I’m gluten free so I get my burger protein style which is wrapped in lettuce instead of having a bun. I also order my burger and fries animal style which ads special sauce melted cheese and grilled onions… I won’t eat the regular fries anymore.

I love their burgers. I’m currently watching what I eat, so just a little meat is good for me. I like the best when I get lots of lettuce and tomato. I also get it with onions and pickles. Everything is fresh!

Well its In-N-Out…not much I can tell you that you don’t already know or have heard. Best fast food burger around… by far! Service is always amazing at the W. Sac location. Drive-thru moves quickly. Food is always hot and fresh. I always get Double-double animal style with animal fries… just talking about them makes me salivate! If you are in W. Sac and need a fast burger skip 5 guys and go to In-N-Out.

Had mad cravings for a burger, it was around 12am when I had the appetite to indulge an American made Burger. Upon driving to this In N Out location, I opt in to use the drive thru… Line was abnormally long for this time… Came to find out why its a long line, because one window was close… So the second window pretty much have to work double in chaos, from me handing over my plastic to pay my meal, then the hustle from other employees to take over to give me my meal… Bleh! Basically from what Ive seen, its a rotating job thing… One is assigned to handle by taking in payments, then the worker is switched to the food handler who gives me my meal… A whole total wait time at In N Out drive thru, about 10−15min from speaking to the Speaker Box outside for my #2 Meal with hella onions till I received my meal about 5−7cars ahead of me! Thank god I wasn’t in a rush or nowhere to go late at night but to drive straight home… But 10min is quite amount of time to be waiting. Namm sayinn.
