We purchased the Twilight series 8.2 from the palmetto expo on Dec. 5. The sale women did a good job of helping us select the correct one for us. If wish they had offer us some training on how to care for the tub, but the delivery man did a excellent job in that area, but it’s always good to hear it several times. We purchased the tub on Saturday and they delivered it on Monday. The two men who delivered were fantastic. The sale people did a poor job of giving us all the details of measurement to get it to our backyard… even after we told them it was a difficult delivery. All he said is that we needed 40 – 42 inches wide, there was much more that that. That made the job for the delivery men, very hard & did some damage to our home. When we called for help, in how to do the chemicals Mari & Phillip were very helpful. We Love our hot tub!

Bought a spa from South East Spas at a show a week ago and was terribly ill-informed by my salesman, Dwayne. Very quick sign here disclosure to get the sale. Never really informed us of costs associated with electrical connectivity. All he wanted was the sale and money. Not at all interested in a long term customer experience. Spa is very nice. Service and commitments-not so good. Ask questions and in particular discuss connectivity. Since all other spa people know immediately about connectivity. If we were informed properly we would have went home before making a purchase to investigate our hook up and make a educated decision. But due to Dwayne’s hurry up and sign here attitude we were rushed and made an ill-informed decision. Yes, we made a mistake by not reading ALL the docs. Our fault. But shame on them for not doing then right and proper disclosures and then blaming us for our naivety. Since the hassle Southeast spas has done an admirable job in taking care of my spa after the electrical debacle things are perfect complement to Southeast spas people for doing a great job

The other side of the story of the review from s t. Customer reported the spa was to be delivered in 2 – 3 weeks. SESPAS response This spa was Factory Stock meaning it was built and ready to ship, but it was in the Ft Wayne Indiana factory. Our contract explicitly states«tentative delivery date» We cannot be responsible for factory shipping schedules and inclement weather especially in the month of January. Our suppliers are in Indiana and Michigan. It has been well documented this year that snowy weather has delayed and closed many operations in these areas. Customer reported lack of communication from delivery crew. SESPAS response. We use a very reputable independent delivery company. They do the majority of our deliveries. To date this is the ONLY complaint we have received about them in two years. Customer reported no cover when the spa was delivered. SESPAS response. Our normal delivery day has the first spa scheduled to be delivered to the customer between 9am and 11am. And then the days remaining deliveries are scheduled in 2 hour intervals throughout the day. This customer said they could only take delivery at 7am. We accommodated their request, however, the cover had been backordered and although it was ready, the supplier did not open until 9am. If we had not accommodated the customers 7am delivery request, we would have picked up the cover on our way to deliver the spa. Regardless, I personally took the cover to them the same afternoon of delivery. Customer reported they were told the spa is Plug And Play. SESPAS response. The spa is absolutely Plug And Play. It comes complete with a cord and 15amp GFCI from the factory. The customers receptacle is approx 30ft away from the spa. When I arrived to deliver the cover they had the spa running on a 100ft light duty extension cord. This is clearly a violation of the manufacturers instructions as well as a code violation. The customer was instructed that this was not correctly wired by both me and our delivery crew. I told the customer if SHECHOSE to run it on an extension cord she should at the very least get the shortest cord possible and get a cord capable of carrying 15 amps. Additionally, the manufacturer requires the spa to be run on a DEDICATED15amp service. The customer was advised that the receptacle she was using to plug the spa into was not a dedicated line. Finally, the spa comes factory preprogrammed to operate by simply adding water and connecting the electrical. The spa will run through a self diagnostics program, purge the pump to eliminate any air present in the plumbing and then begin heating to a temperature of 104 degrees and filter for 2 hours every 12 hours. Unfortunately, we occasionally get customers that will not read the owners manual or do not understand the owners manual and they begin pushing buttons until they end up altering the factory program. Customer reports SESPAS did not show up and did not return phone calls. SESPAS response. SESPAS was never scheduled to go out to the customers house. The customer had/has my personal cell phone number. I spoke to this customer no less than a dozen times over a 2 day period. According to my phone bill the last phone call was from my cell phone to this customer. During these phone calls, I tried twice over the phone to help this customer get the spa reprogrammed to the factory presets. I even handed the phone to my daughter in law after I became frustrated trying to explain to the customer. When that failed I had Ivan from our office call and try. All to no avail. Customer reports the factory got them up and running in no time. SESPAS response. We still sent a technician out to the house to make sure everything was running correctly. Our technician reported that it is programmed correctly, but the spa is still plugged in with an extension cord and running on a common receptacle not a dedicated line which is in violation of the manufacturers instructions.

I was told that the spa would be in in 2 – 3 weeks. At almost 4 weeks I called and they said yes the spa was there. They never called me. Then they said the delivery people would call and 2 days later I had to call back to ask that the delivery people call. They came to deliver it and they didn’t have the top cover. It was however delivered that afternoon. I was told that the spa was simply plug-in and use. That was not the case. The spa was delivered on a Thursday and after a comedy of errors and their people not showing up to get it running and not returning phone calls, I called the factory and they got me going in no time. I guess their motto is deliver and run. So disappointed because they really did seem like nice people. I would never recommend this company.
