My mother’s of course was the best; this is the closest I’ve come to find and my dad agrees. The seco de res is my favorite, as the beans and the fried fish and the escabeche…

This is a delicious Peruvian restaurant on Main Street in West Orange across from Schneider’s Hardware and near the Laundromat. Washington Street is close by. The food is tasty and large portions are served. Prices are very reasonable. I went at lunch time and don’t know about the dinner menu. Staff is very friendly and helpful, speak English well and are happy to guide those of us unfamiliar with the cuisine. I thought it was a good sign that Peruvians were eating there too. It is wheelchair accessible. Metered parking is available on the street as well as in municipal lots. Credit cards are accepted.
