i’ve been coming here since 2008. first of all, it is the perfect location in west hollywood because you always find parking and the traffic is controlled. now for the real review, this place is seriously so good. they have the best paninis(sante fe chicken) that ive ever had. ive literally ordered the same thing for 7 years. and they have homemade gelato, omg so good. their coffee tastes amazing, i would replace any other coffee shop for the coffee they have here. this is by far the greatest tasting café ever. a bonus to this place, its family owned and operated. the dad, mom, and son are here everyday working and are the sweetest kindest most delightful people ever. they make every time i come here so personable. and they take their time with everything and everyone they serve.

Price is right AND the coffee is bomb. Plus the whole free cookie or chips with check in had me and my friend really happy.

Excellent food and service. I loved it! They made me feel special and the owner came out to speak to the customers. I really appreciated his hospitality

I wandered in here after finding out the place we originally wanted to eat at closed their kitchen at 3:00pm and it happened to be next door. We were allowed to seat ourselves and given a menu right away. We decided to sit in the outdoors area with our dog. Yes! They are dog friendly and had treats for him. The food is ordered at a the menu in the building. We got the smoked salmon panini(because they ran out of bagels; understandable at 3 in the afternoon) and the Papa’s omelette with hashbrowns as well as the cold brew coffee and the Very Berry Smoothie. The food arrived after a few minutes and the food was nice and hot. The omelettes that I ordered were topped with sausage and it all worked together very well. The hashbrowns were nice, but could’ve used some salt. The smoothie was sweet and cool. The perfect treat to hit the spot on a warm afternoon. The only gripe I had with the food was portion. As delicious as everything was, I left hungrier than when I had arrived. However, it was priced very reasonably at $ 6.50 for the omelette and I can’t complain too much. Next time, I’ll just order something else to go along with it knowing that it’s a rather small plate. Good food. Good drinks. Small plates. Definitely come in for a small meal if you’re not famished!

Tucked away in a corner. You have to look for it to know that it’s there. Good coffee and love that it’s a small facility. Coffee is very good.

This place is amazing! The owner was so friendly and we immediately felt at home in this lovely corner café. Our salmon and cream cheese bagel was delicious. Our young boys had food that kept them smiling and calm while we were there… a real miracle! AND really great coffee… Thanks for such a great experience Raphael!

I’m a coffee addict so the coffee pics on Unilocal was what drew me to this café. My hubby and I came here after an afternoon hike at Runyon Canyon. Ice cold coffee was such a treat after our afternoon workout. My hubby ordered an Americano and I ordered the Cookies & Cream blended coffee drink. We also shared the chicken pesto panini. The Americano and the blended coffee drink was AMAZING and so refreshing. I don’t usually take my coffee black but the Americano was bold and tasty. The blended coffee drink left me craving more when I was done. In fact, it tasted exactly like my favorite Gloria Jeans Coffee blended drink that I used to get all the time back when we still had a Gloria Jeans in LA. The pesto was the ‘green’ pesto that I’m used to but it was still pretty good, a bit too much on the garlicy side though. (+): Good coffee, large menu with a variety of food & drink options, decent amount of seating for a small café, indoor & outdoor seating options, & friendly/timely service (-): You’ll have to park on the street. We got lucky and parked in a metered spot right outside but you’d probably have to read the signs more carefully if you need to park further down the street in this neighborhood. All in all, I’ll certainly come back for the delicious coffee, if I’m in the area!

Back in LA this Dec and had a working breakfast at the Dialog. It’s. Lovely place with a family-feel, a great atmosphere to work w a laptop and of course, great coffee!!! All the pastries n breakfasts are delish. If I lived here, this would be my local but as it stands, it’s a place I come to on each visit to The city of angels :) Nice seating inside and out and you can always bring your furry friends to join u on the patio!!!

I definitely support the high rating for this café. This is the perfect café. Great coffee, excellent food choices, and a heart-warming«family run» vibe. I tried the salted caramel latte, and it was nice. It was too sweet at all. The plain latte is great too. What I really enjoyed was the breakfast menu. Simple things like yogurt, fruit and granola. Oatmeal, bagels, eggs. We spoke with one of owners or relative of(unsure who exactly), and had a great conversation with him. It was short though, because as soon as his grandkid arrived he was all about family. Which is why I just love the atmosphere here. If I was a local, this would be my go to spot.

Already knew this café had some charm before stepping into it. Came with Unilocaler turned friend, Laine C. :) FOOD: Got a waffle with homemade gelato & strawberries. On taste, that homemade gelato was melt in your mouth delicious. They had three flavors: Strawberry, Pistachio, & Chocolate. They offered chocolate for our order as it’s the most popular flavor but I aim to come back for some of that pistachio! The waffle was fluffy, not heavy, crispy just on the edges. Strawberries were fresh! Also. Free cookie upon check in! Sweets galore. COFFEE: LA knows how to keep it coming with the many many cafes surrounding such a melting pot of a city! Dialog Café was not short of flavor, presentation, and caffeine! They give such warm and comforting service. Sweet people. And, they have plenty of room inside and out! Come for your coffee fix, Unilocalheads! Heads up(s): — When you find street parking, figure out which way to turn your tires on the hills or you get a violation ticket :( — Dialog’s by a busy street. So lots of car honking and such.

Tried Dialog Café with fellow Unilocaler turned friend Julienne D.(hi!) just recently. This place is located by Sunset Strip so parking is a bit of a drag. If you do end up parking on the street to the left of the café, make sure to check the signs on how to turn your wheels otherwise you might just get a ticket like I did Friday night. Julienne had a vanilla latte and I had the matcha latte. My matcha latte was amazing. Not too sweet which is just how I like my matcha. We also shared a waffle with strawberry and chocolate gelato. I thought the waffle was just OK but I like the gelato a lot. We found out later that night that the owner himself makes the gelato and for that, I give them props! Mm they also had pistachio gelato available and that’s sounding reeaaaal good right about now. Lots of tables inside and outside of the café. Don’t come here and expect the typical coffee shop experience of soothing music, etc as it is located on a busy street. Overall great café with friendly owners! Tip: Check in on Unilocal and receive a free cookie or bag of chips!

I don’t know what they put besides what’s written on the menu, but my breakfast panini was off the hook! Tasted even better than how it sounded on the menu. It’s so flavorful but it’s not too much. The portion is really big but it costed me only $ 11 for this sandwich and coffee. The picture of the panini I posted is only half of it because I devoured one before I can take a picture of the whole dish lol. Service is fantastic as well. I don’t mind leaving the house earlier so that I can come here for breakfast once in a while before work. Dialog café, you have my 5 full stars!

The cutest café with the friendliest owners! I decided to visit, as I was looking for a place in the area to study. Dialog café was the perfect place! The interior is cute and cozy. During the time I went, it was pretty quiet. Around closing time, they played relaxing deep tropical trance, which was actually pretty great! The salted caramel latte was to die for! The owner was so cute and sweet, she apologized because her foam art wasn’t that great. I also ordered the grilled banana and nutella croissant. Which was pretty good, but a little sweet for my taste. Still worth trying! I’d probably order something savory next time if I’m getting a sweet drink. Parking is kind of a pain, street metered parking only. Great service. Check in on Unilocal for a free baked in-house cookie!

The service here is phenomenal. For that reason alone I’d suggest a visit. Even better, their food is delish! Personally, I’m a lox fiend and go nuts over their smoked salmon panini. I order mine without the traditionally paired capers(because if you thoroughly enjoy stinky pea shaped brine balls, I’m shamelessly judging your palate.) If you’re not panini person(I don’t know what’s wrong with you) I recommend checking out their smoked salmon plate. My two favorite menu options. Their lox is just that special. If you haven’t stopped reading my lox monologue and have more of a sweet tooth, I def recommend getting their Belgian waffle. It’s baked fresh, super photogenic, and so, so delicious(I add nutella & whatever the gelato flavor of the day is). Heaven. Impeccable service(they truly care about your satisfaction), consistently tasty food, and a location perfect for people watching(the perpetually angry WeHo drivers are a must-see!)… What more could you want in a café? Oh and every time I’ve gone, there’s been at least one cute puppy. Dialog is where its at.

What a wonderful visit!!! If i could give this place 10STARS I would! :) From the ambiance, the service, the coffee, and the food, this was the best breakfast I can remember having! The grilled Nutella Banana Croissant was perhaps the best, most delicious thing I have ever tasted! Our latte’s were so good, and our omlettes were simply yet perfectly plated and YUMMY! The owners,(i didn’t get their names) are an adorable married couple and were so warm and welcoming! Our best dining experience by far during our visit from San Diego. Thank you Dialog Café!!! We will be back! xo

My sister and I came here today to get brunch and I think I’m sold! Located on a corner, the place isnt not hard to find and I think we definitely got lucky with parking but that’s fine. The sign said they were family owned and tbh, their family was so adorable! Everyone there was SUPER nice and we had great service overall. My sister and I got the Papas Omelette, Dialogue Burrito and a Salted Caramel Latte. The barista made our latte art SUPERCUTE, as promised. However, I think I’m used to nonsweet coffee now since we felt it was a bit sweet for us. BUT a lot of people there seemed to go there just for the coffee/latte so if I ever go back, I’ll be sure to try the regular latte! Our food was delicious and the prices were SOGOOD and wallet friendly, especially for the neighborhood. I think they were both $ 7 each. Too bad I live on the Westside since I really like this place. Definitely will be returning!
