Suzy Morris — aka angel of hair — just gave me a fabulous Brazilian blow-out… so soft, so swingy, such shine and luxury! If i weren’t already addicted to Suzy’s mastery, i’m now a full-on addict! Jennifer Anniston eat your heart out… Just kidding, but dang, Suzy’s got mad skills!

Highly recommend Craig. After having long hair for many years, i decided to cut it short. I first went to one salon where they didn’t do a good job, and then Craig saved it. Not only he reshaped it, he taught me how to style it. Real professional. Thank you Craig!

Must request Mauricio! He is the absolute best! He has been doing my hair, as well as a number of my friends, for the past seven years or so. I have never once been less than INLOVE with the finished product. He makes you feel right at home immediately and is ridiculously fun and hilarious. I do not usually venture out much with style, but I do sometimes with dark or light highlights. He is great in that he does just enough to feel comfortable and confident, but also something fresh and new and always sexy. I just recently had him cut my hair to a short bob from having pretty long straight hair for the past 10+ years. I was not scared at all even though it was a big change simply because I totally trust Mauricio. Sure enough, nothing but compliments from everyone I know. YAY, Mauricio!!! He’s worth every dollar.

Mauricio Ribeiro is gifted at what he does — he makes my super frizzy, naturally-curly hair smooth and manageable. He’s worth his weight in gold! I have been coming to him for Brazilian hair treatments since 2007 but his formula has evolved. .. he now even offers a completely chemical-free alternative in his«True Brazilian» treatment line. He’s a consummate professional and truly skilled, but also just a lovely person. He now cuts my four-year-old daughter’s hair. I can’t say enough good things!

Every time I go, they receive me very well, and always make sure that I’m comfortable. I usually cut my hair with Mauricio, who does an amazing job, the best hairstylist I’ve met in years, but I also had it cut by Alek, who is also a wonderful professional.

The Nurse Claire Farne is amazing, I am having a vitamin drip and it makes me feel great ! I felt very hydrated and energetic. I also had an eclipse miconeedle on my face to help with my fine lines and wrinkles. I like because as a guy I want natural looking results. I highly recommend Claire

I have gotten many haircuts in my life but none have been as good as my experience with Christophe at Cure. He is a lovely french man with a gift for finding the perfect cut for your face and you leave with an effortless cut that falls perfectly. The salon is beautiful and clean and the assistants are also lovely and helpful. I can not recommend it more!

So i wanted to surprise my husband with a nice, soothing, sensual, intimate time together and heard from ppl at work that is really good place and decided to take him. One thing is sure I was NOT disappointed. It was a great experience. I talked with them before we cam and asked for a message for my hubby and a mani/pedi for me. I enjoyed my mani/pedi so much the women were really professional and nice. My husband really enjoyed his message also. There is the ‘Turkish Khammam’ over there and it sounds and seems really cool but we didn’t went in. We finished with their nice sensual bath for two enriched with slats and oils that the message lady had already put in for us. It was great. Really left the skin nice and soft :)

Are you a penguin? Do you like getting massages in frigid rooms? Then this place is for you. A friend and I booked massages. When we arrived to the beautiful Sunset Tower, and were sent down to the basement, we quickly noticed that the«waiting room»(aka the hair salon, where the sounds of hair dryers don’t exactly set the mood for getting a massage) was very cold. When the receptionist brought me tea almost 10 minutes after I asked for it(no herbal, which again, strange as this is a spa called cure), I was already feeling that this might not be the experience I was hoping it would be. The rooms are beautiful, but again cold. I asked if they could warm it up(I’m about to get naked so I think it’s completely logical to want a warmer room) and they said unfortunately no. I asked if they had a space heater and they said no. WOW. Massage was okay except for the fact that it was below 67 degrees. The masseuse did a great job of getting the knots out of my back, but her«Purist Hawaiian» method of massaging my arms, legs, and head did nothing but make me wonder when it would be over. Once the massage was over, I chose to take a shower, thinking it would warm me up. Unfortunately the rainhead showerhead was like someone spitting little bits of hot water at you. Dreadful. For a hotel of this caliber, this experience was shocking. When we complained to the spa checkout desk, all the receptionist could say is «we know.» They didn’t seem to really care ATALL. We went up for a cocktail at the bar, and the experience there was laughable as well. We waited easily 10 minutes before WE flagged down a waiter to get us an $ 18 cocktail. When we went to pay — we split the bill — the receipts came back as $ 48 for my friend, and $ 25 for me. Then it took another 10– 15 minutes for the manager and 2 waiters to TRY to figure out on the computer system what went wrong. We are SO over it at this point. I know this might be an isolated incident but I’m sticking to the Four Seasons from now on. I have never had a bad experience there and the MANAGEMENT at Sunset Tower should take a note out of their book on how to do it right.

Great spa tucked away in one of my favorite hotels. Had an 80 minute full body massage that was one of the best I’ve ever had. Jordan was my therapist and I highly recommend him. Facilities are top-notch as well with spacious, well-appointed private suites. I’ll definitely be going back.

4.25. Just the past three months alone, I have been to the salon more than a dozen times, mostly for the Thermasculpt sessions and once for a facial. The spa is located in the basement of the Sunset Tower hotel. There is an entrance off to the side of the hotel, which is a more convenient way to get in. Valet can be pricey if you go often, so I park on the street instead. For Thermasculpt, Farzaneh is awesome. She makes sure to tailor the procedure to the client(in my case, my skin was so sensitive to the heat and I couldn’t tolerate anything but the lowest setting). She is also so sweet and a great conversationalist. For my Arcona facial and peel, I was assigned to Olivia, who was also really sweet. She took the time to know my skin and really give me a good facial. She spent time doing extractions and gave solid scalp, shoulder and arm massages. Highly recommend her, too. The only con really is that the spa is super dark and not as luxe as I expect for the price of the treatments. The layout is also super confusing and the first time, I even got lost. I do hear that the hydrafacial is good so I might be back to check this out.

Alec Kara gives the best haircuts– and Susie does wonderful glosses and color! For the most smooth hair ever, get a Keratin treatment by Alec– which eliminates all frizz. It’s gorgeous!

My boyfriend and I got the couples spa/massage package which I purchased off of Gilt. The Moroccan steam room was so relaxing and such a new experience for the both of us, the water was perfect temperature. It’s really nice how they give you your own private spa room to change in and relax, also there is a huge tub where you can draw a bath to unwind in after your massage. The massage was amazing, one of the best massages I’ve ever had, also the music they played was nice — it was a mix of Lana del Rey and Coldplay. I definitely will return to get more spa treatments and massages, it was such a intimate and relaxing experience.

Everyone was extremely sweet. Loved my suite but my massage was not the greatest. I felt as if my masseuse did not give me the full 50 min and she didn’t give me a good massage. I didn’t feel relaxed after the massage.

Finally got to Cure after they bought out my beloved Argyle. I was so apprehensive bc I was worried that my fave masseur would leave but not so! Mohammad is still there and he’s an absolute gem! Strong hands, and he gives an extremely thorough and wonderful massage. Plus he’s suuuuuuuper nice!!! Cure kept all of the best elements of Argyle: the private suites, the services, and of course the Turkish Hammam. Oh how I missed everything! The Hammam is truly a fabulous experience. Very steamy and pretty hot, not for those who can’t handle the heat! But for those who can, it’s incredible. You are given cold towels n cucumber water to cool off and this great brown sugar scrub to use after you’ve been steaming for a few. It leaves your skin like butta! I only deducted a star bc for some reason Cure Spa just didn’t seem as clean and as immaculate as when it was still the Argyle, but I dunno, I’ll have to go again and make sure. Prices are on the high side but they run specials all the time too so definitely be on the lookout for those.

Oh boy, was this the most sensual and intimate spa experience we have ever had? I think it was! Very nice spa and salon, above all? Turkish Hammam bath!!! They only have it at this spa in the hood! How AWESOME is that?! This salon and spa is located in The Sunset Tower hotel on Sunset strip, made a reservation for spa suite, massage and mani /pedi, we wanted to spend a good few hours there just to relax and enjoy some couple times, and it worked! We had our own champagne with us, the lady at the front desk thought that was a great idea, they also offer a glass of complimentary champagne for spa suite guests too. This spa facility is small, very enclosed with low ceilings, we got the presidential spa suite, it was a huge suite with restroom, two ppl shower, two massage beds and a huge bath tub. Basic amenities, I was glad they had face cleaner and toner too, I forgot mine so they came in very handy. The Turkish Hammam bath experience was amazing! We have never had Hammam bath before, it is like steam rooms at regular spas, just extremely hot, much hotter than regular steam rooms. And they have two showers in there, they were damn right to put two showers in there, we had to take cold shower at one point. And I had to put towels on the stone surface to be able to sit down too. They provided very nice body scrub and ice cold small towels, just in case guests need to cool down a bit. We didn’t stay too long in there becuse it was just way too hot for us, and we had to step out of the bath a few times to have some fresh air too. But it was a very interesting and pleasant experience indeed, both hubby and enjoyed it so much! After Hammam bath, hubby got a massage, I had mani /pedi at the salon, both ladies were very thorough and detailed, they did great jobs. I almost wanted to get my hair done too but it was a holiday most hair dressers went home already. After the services we took a bath with bath salts and oils the massage lady put in for us, they were great, my skin felt so smooth after the bath! So we enjoyed our spa experience from the beginning to the end, it was absolutely fantastic! One of the best spa experiences we have ever had! Not to mention how sensual it was! I highly recommend the Hammam bath and spa suite! They also have smaller suites with lower rates, just check out their site or call to see what options work for you. Seriously this place is the perfect spot for couples intimate and relaxing times, on special occasions or just a little nice surprise for her spontaneously! Ps. Validation is $ 9.

Best day spa experience we have had so far. We went for Valentine’s Day and had the Hammam, couples massage, and milk bath. My wife had Jordan and I had Caroline as our masseurs. They were both great and I would recommend both. The Hammam was a great way to loosen up and exfoliate. The massage almost put me to sleep but I fought it because I didn’t want to miss anything. The milk bath was the perfect way to end it with the vibracoustic tub. The suite is completely private with a toilet and shower. It was a little pricey but definitely worth every dollar. We will be back for more.

Came back for the third time last week, the couples massage package was wonderful as always. The Turkish Hamman was not working(we tried it out previously, make sure to give it a try when its available) so instead we did the milk bath. My one qualm, the couples spa package is supposed to include 30 min. suite time + 30 min bath(which is also the way its been during our previous visits) but this time it was cut short and we were only given 30 mins. It felt rushed and this was bothersome for us. Otherwise, everything else was great and we will continue to come back here!
