You know, I’d prefer to give this place a better review than I’m about to. I’ve rented a storage unit with them for about 15 months now, and haven’t had any issues with things like access hours, customer service, etc. The only gripes with the facility I have would be lack of access to electrical outlets(on my building) and lack of trash receptacles for customers. I get that a lot of customers would probably abuse the latter, but even just a receptacle for cardboard box recycling would be nice. Neither of those are a big deal, though. I also have a 10′ wide unit, but it has two separate, smaller doors with two separate locks. Kind of sucks, one door would be easier… but again… not a big deal, I accept my lumps and continue storing my crap. What IS a big deal are the rate increases they’ve hit me with. Two increases this year, amounting to more than 25% over the original rate. WTF?!? That slightly outpaces inflation, and seems rather excessive to me. Right?!? So, go ahead and rent here for the convenience(right on the edge of the borough), but if you’ve read this, don’t be shocked when you’re stuck paying a lot more a year or so down the road.
