Commitment Issues! — We all have them. Buffets enable them. Would you like a side of beets with your general tso’s chicken? Or some mussels with some roasted chicken and gravy? How about crawfish with some chocolate fondue? Yeah. You can do that too… Right! Flaming grill is a buffet. Buffets are a crap shoot. Some days you’ll have a good experience with tasty food and no giant people on scooters grabbing all the crab legs and shooting icy glares. Other days you’ll leave with a stomach ache and a button shamefully undone on your pants because you just –couldn’t — resist that last piece of chocolate lava cake. This place is clean. Shiny. Neon. Sparkly. I could use many adjectives but apart from the visual overload I could see that it was well maintained. No food on the floors or weird smells here. I mostly stuck with seafood. The sushi was alright, however all of the fish was very pale in color. Not super flavorful. There were a few seafood mix dishes, some baked salmon and cod. All good. Seaweed salad, edamame, kimchi and numerous fresh mix-ins from the salad bar filled my plate. The oysters were hideously bad… I spit them out, narrowly escaping the future wrath of bad seafood. The clams on the half shell were yellow/orange from sitting out too long. You win some, you loose some. The rest of the options were decent. They had a whole fried station for the kiddos and lovers of things dipped in oil. They also offered crawfish, big headon shrimp, giant soft dumplings and a few other things that are harder to find in this part of the island. The hibachi station is a big appeal to this place. I didn’t go, but whatever came out looked pretty decent. Dessert was nothing special. The fruit was bland, cakes were dry, cream-puffs were sad and I think I saw some kids sticking their fingers in the chocolate fountain. No thanks. I didn’t have high expectations. It was all just. okay. Minus the stomach ache after. That was bad — very bad. Staff was prompt, courteous and working their tails off to accommodate the influx of the hungry weekend crowd. Plates cleared fast, drinks offered and all that jazz to fast paced beat.

Excellent service! The food consists of your typical Asian buffet lineup — dumplings, general tso’s chicken, eggrolls, etc. Food is always hot and delicious! I’ve been here about 5 or 6 times since it’s opened, and it’s the best spot to go if you’re hungry and don’t want to empty your wallet. Plus, they’re constantly sending out flyers with coupons to LIers. The dessert choices are endless. Fresh fruit with a chocolate fountain, assortments of ice cream, cakes, cookies, etc. It’s a nice place. I’m crazy about their dumplings. They’re fantastic.

Its your typical Chinese food buffet but what I like the best about Flaming Grill is their dessert station. They have a good chocolate fondue fountain as well as a variety of cakes. One down fall, I found the food to be saltier than other places i’ve been to.

Ehhhh… It’s a buffet. Expected it to be great because of all the reviews but it was nothing special. The hibachi didn’t taste right to me and the crab over cooked. There was a nice selection of food a lot of variety.

This is probably the best deal for a basic buffet with a few fresh and special stations. It’s hard to beat the price on Sundays. Whether it’s seafood, hibachi grill, and an assortment of desserts including a chocolate fondue fountain, you’ll be stuffed. Service is fast and friendly. The plates are cleared quickly for you to eat more.

Was here yesterday, they have a large variety of food, and that chocolate fountain was amazing. It’s a typical buffet. It smelled like fish as soon as you walked in which made me sick a bit and at 9:30 they were trying to kick us out«nicely» when it clearly states that closing time was 10:30. I would love to come here again when the place doesn’t smell like a fish market.

I’m basing this on other buffets & I really enjoyed the hibachi station & how they had it set up. They also had a great, actually the best dessert station at an Asian buffet. 4 stars for the hibachi & dessert but I had to drop to 3 for the lack of options. We did the hibachi station first. I got the steak, shrimp, onion & mushrooms with Thin rice noodles. Cooked up with chili sauce, garlic & teriyaki this was the highlight of the meal. I could’ve kept eating that all day. Next stop sushi station. I was a little disappointed. The sushi looked like it was sitting there a while & it was just salmon with no other choices. The rolls were mostly spicy rolls which are ok in my book but I prefer my rolls to be whole slices of fish that I can identify. The other rolls all contained mayo which is not a preference of mines in sushi. So if you like this type of sushi it may be a good choice. The fried Head on Shrimp & Calamari was outstanding and needed no sauce, but there wasn’t a lot of other choices. I was looking for Chinese broccoli, sautéed spinach or string beans. More meat & dim sum & the only seafood was the clams & fried hard shelled crabs. I went during the lunch time so I’m guessing the seafood doesn’t come out really until dinner time. The dessert was good though. A nice assortment or cakes. German chocolate, strawberry, etc. There was also a chocolate fountain, which I tried and enjoyed. I’ll have to try the dinner options to really give a fair assessment of Flaming Grill as a whole.

Went there for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I like the décor and the place was very clean. I liked the variety of food and also that the food was not salty. Many of these buffets are way too salty, greasy, or too sweet. The service was great and the price was reasonable. I will be back!

My mom forgot her coupon and with it that would have been the better price. Raw food to fried and grilled. My biggest concern is once you don’t choose fried or raw, there is little else. Advantage of the Hibachi grill is those foods are piping hot, everything else, not so much. They do have ice cream in little Dixie cups. Other concern is for gluten-free person I had fruit and flan and could not have any of the numerous cakes. Drink choice green tea or Chinese tea… I chose Chinese and it was good. Nice going at quiet time as the crowd started to arrive mid-dinner.

One of the best seafood selections. Salmon was so good. Does not have an ice cream; that was a bummer. They have chocolate fondue fountain no fruit like strawberries but large marshmallows are next to it. Desserts are not that good. Sushi bar has many different rolls. Their wasabi is very strong. Seating is comfortable. Clean bathroom. Very spacious. Spent $ 30 for 2 on a Friday night. Will be back.

This place sucks. The food tastes like it’s been preheated 2 or 3 times. They have a variety but it’s not at all fresh. The sushi is awful. I took my son and he wanted fries and chicken nuggets and they were so stale. Something so simple and so badly cooked. I would never go back and give them my money. I wish I could give them no stars. Considering this place is new you would think they serve fresh evenly seasoned food but that is not the case here.

AYCE buffet for a great price. Normally I tend to avoid buffets for obvious reasons but I was dragged here and pleasantly surprised. Super clean and much nicer than I anticipated from the outside. Plenty of selection on foods leaning more toward Asian cuisine with American mixed in. They have a raw bar which I was stoked about as I am a huge fan of oysters, shrimp and the like. Was it top quality? No. Was it good for the price you’re paying? Absolutely! The other food was good and I was surprised to find that on the sushi buffet they even had sashimi out! I found the Asian cuisine to be much more flavorful than the American foods they had. Desert looked yummy especially the chocolate fountain they had for you to dip your fruit in, but I was too full by that point to have any. Service was pleasant and the place was kept super clean which I feel a lot of buffets have a hard time maintaining. For the price and decent quality, I’ll be sure to come back if I can’t decide on what I want for dinner that night!

Food overload. A buffet with a wide variety of food. I tasted a lot of things in small bites. There is a wide variety of Sushi, too bad I can’t eat raw fish, I tried today again and I could not eat it, I guess my taste buds can’t handle that. All the things I tried tasted really good, except for that little red shrimp, there’s barely a finger tip of meat in it, I would rather leave those little animals alone and not cook them. The crap had no meat in it also, so why cook it? the food choices were many, there were platanos maduros cooked to perfection. There is a Hitach area included in the menu at not additional charge. I just learned today that Hitachi means is cooked right there. Well, I don’t go out as much, so I learn a bit at a time… lol The salad, fruits, and desserts were also many. I tasted the banana pudding and it was good. If you come after 3:30PM the price per person in more. Nice to find this new place, I will describe it with 9ne word Choices, Choices, Choices. I ate too much ! It was my first and only meal of the day. I feel like I don’t need to eat for the next 3 days.

I been getting ads for this place in the mail for weeks now since it opened not long ago. Finally gave into the temptation and gave this AYCE buffet a try. Overall its a pretty great place for the price especially since its newly opened so all the furniture and decoration are sparkling new. Most of the hot foods I tried weren’t much different from your decent buffet line up. Plenty of selections with lots of different types of fried foods as well. Personally I thought their seafood line up was pretty good, especially the steam crabs tasted pretty fresh. Its unfortunate they don’t have crab legs but at the price around $ 14.99 couldn’t really expect they go all out. Still while I was here last Friday there were plenty I didn’t try yet as I skipped most of the sushi and salad lined ups. The Hibachi Grill in the back is another favorite of mine. Ingredients are quite fresh indeed I would certainly recommend it except you’ll probably have to ask the chef to go easy on the sauce. The dessert selection is bigger than what I usually see at a Chinese buffet place as well. I personally like the flan the most. The chocolate fountain is quite a novelty indeed but really it’s really too sweet in my opinion to have more than a few tastes. They also have ice creams in individual containers and wrappers which I thought is quite nice as it helps portion control somewhat. Then again you’re already in a buffet restaurant its kind hard to leave the place not feeling extremely full. Located in a plaza next to Pathmarks, plenty of parking and the place wasn’t crowded at all on a Friday night. The food trays were filled pretty quickly as well and I didn’t have to wait for anything other than few minutes at the Hibachi grill. Service was pretty nice they cleaned the plates and re-filled the drinks rather quickly while we were up and about. For the food selection at the price range definitely a good choice. Although the food quality are quite not up to the level of the higher price range of Minados, its quite a treat indeed for a really fulfilling meal here.

Great deal, great price. What a huge selection of food! I’ve never seen full cakes out for dessert(not sure how I feel about it, but it worked). The sushi/sashimi was fresh and tasty. This is harder to find than it should be. The service was on point and the place was clean. I’m glad we decided to try this new place out. It was packed. I know places like this often start out amazing and in time, unfortunately, lessen in quality. I hope that won’t be the case here. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Follows the new formula for Asian fusion buffets. Big, beautiful, busy and festive. Something for everyone. Sushi in the front — a Hibachi grill in the rear. In between anything you can imagine from pizza and fried chicken to all the Chinese standards. Lots of fresh fruits and salads for the health conscious. Don’t expect gourmet quality, but for less than $ 15 per person who can complain. A nice addition to the neighborhood.

This buffet just opened yesterday, been following this one waiting for the opening day… Was not disappointed! Large clean restaurant with a very courteous & friendly staff. Buffets I been to usually lack in the flavor department. But not here, everything I tryed was very well flavored & fresh tasting. Good selection, even though I rolled in at almost 10pm. Great selection of desserts to so I’m about to hit that up. Oh & the hibachi was on point! Def a super decent buffet!
