Cupcake Blues

Just walking around town one day, I saw the giant sign and stopped in. Awesome cupcakes took my taste buds away and I had to get one. Sweet, creamy, fresh! My new favorite desert spot!

These delicacies are delectable! What a fun place to stop by with the girls for a scrumptious desert treat! I’ve even attended meetings here where everyone got a treat before we got down to business. I highly recommend stopping by for a cupcake whether you’re «blue» or not *smile*

I have not gone there but have walked by and it looks nice. the fact they make cupcakes is enough to start with a five star rating. I will go there within a week (a promise to myself), test it out and see if they can retain the 5 starts… if not, I will revise.

I agree with previous reviewers… The owner is fantastic. Love the space & the vibe. However, maybe I went on an off day but the cupcakes were just ok. My biggest disappointment was that the base for all except for one of the cupcakes was chocolate or vanilla. The toppings were gorgeous and creative, but it was kind of disappointing to have the same cake for a coconut, lemon, butter-​finger and caramel cupcake. I would’ve like to have sampled different flavor cakes.

Today I bought a dozen cupcakes ($ 33) for my daughter’s birthday dinner with the grandparents. I popped into the shop in the late morning to find a nice selection of flavors and almost no wait for service. We waited several hours to eat the cupcakes but they were still moist and delicious. The salted caramel was great, not too sweet. The grandparents were particularly impressed with the lemon cupcakes. My daughter gobbled up her signature blue cupcake. I highly recommend this business.

Moist, rich, delicious cupcakes right here in Wenatchee! I stopped in last week with my daughter and the owner, Lisa, chatted with us until after the shop closed. She was so friendly and excited about her business, and with good reason – Lisa’s cupcakes are fresh and fabulous! The shop is adorable! My daughter and I chose 3 cupcakes to try, chocolate, lemon and coconut, they were all AMAZING! I bake at home and they were every bit as good as my homemade cakes and frosting, and I think I liked Lisa’s chocolate cake EVEN MORE than my own — shhh ;) Lisa also makes BEAUTIFUL cakes, check out her cake covered in pink rosettes, it’s on her website and it is lovely :) Her cupcakes are a bargain at $ 2.50 each, so we took salted caramel and peanut butter cup home to try and they did not disappoint. We are so lucky to have a source for fabulous cupcakes and cakes right here in Wenatchee. If I had to choose one, I would say chocolate is my favorite!

Had the yummy $ 2.50 salted caramel cupcake! At some point in time I will be trying the Rolo cupcake + the Oreo cupcake, they look delicious.

By far the best cupcake shop I have ever been to, and I have been to A LOT
We tried 8 flavors and all were amazing.
I still dream about the sugar cookies, get the big one!
The only problem is they are 3 hours away from me.

Stopped in on my back to Seattle from Eastern WA. There was alot of hustle and bustle of customers in the time I was there trying to make my decision.
I went for the butterscotch hi-​top, it was a vanilla cupcake with butterscotch frosting dipped in a butterscotch hard shell, can you say WOW? Absolutely delicious.
Cute little store front as well.

I saw they were opened earlier this week, but watching all the happy people coming and going while I was stuck in my office at the corner of Orondo and Wenatchee was too much! When lunch came I scampered down to the basement level bakery and was pleasantly surprised by the crowd waiting for cupcakes.
The ladies in the bakery had almost sold out for the day (it is Valentine’s Day) but they still had four packs of red velvet cupcakes. Now I’m a fan of red velvet, being born and raised in Texas, but these weren’t exactly like any other red velvet I’ve had. No chocolate flavor, and though they were red, they didn’t taste like food coloring either. The cupcakes were moist, sweet without being sickly, and the frosting: goodness, the frosting! It’s light and fluffy, not at all greasy or thick. I could’ve easily eaten the whole four pack myself. Thankfully, common sense prevailed (but I wish it hadn’t).
It’s a small space, and looks like they’re still in the process of opening, but if the rest of their offerings are as good as the red velvet cupcake I got, wowza!
