I was in Waycross for work, and wanted to avoid large corporate fast food places. Decent burger, great onion rings — the place was a little rough around the edges and teased me with claiming that it was a pizza place, but the hours were wonky or non-existent? At any rate, everyone I was there with loved their meal and would definitely return. Cafeteria style dining with made-to-order standbys like burgers, hot dogs, and a variety of tasty fried sides.

Not bad. Local. Great burger and fries. HOWEVER hot dog was to salty to eat, tea was sour, and soda machine was out of most choices. Prices are higher than I expected for a local burger joint. Not what I expected from hearing the locals speak of it. Seems they cater to the local high school sports teams. High school experience with college price.

A classic small town hang out with good food and lots of local team memorabilia on the walls. Burgers are very good. Too bad it’s not downtown as opposed to a shabby strip mall. Great atmosphere otherwise. Saw local high schoolers, police officers, business owners, tourists and even some retirees… all enjoying a meal during my visit.

Four stars just off the fact that it is one of the only non-chain restaurants in this town! I mean honestly?! How is there not a diner or other family owned local spot to eat. Besides that, the burgers were good here. I mean they were really good. We went on a Sunday when everyone was eating the buffet. We went for burgers and were only disappointed by the fries. Glad we stopped here for lunch.

Best local burger joint in waycross. Local flavor and atmoshere, simple short order grill food the way it use to be. Try the Ga. Special burger.
