Great pizza as long as I can remember. Definitely my favorite Tony’s. The sports bar and seating area is great as well. A lot of t.v.‘s as well.

Came here yesterday, had really good service up the front while ordering. The person behind me had an issue, and the cashier was kind and did a great way of dealing with it. Pizza was amazing. Will be back!

You want to watch football? Do you have friends who want to watch the games too? This is the place to go unless you can’t stand obnoxious Steelers fans. So if you look past them you go plenty of TVs, good ambience for sports, cheap beer, decent pizza and good wings.

While the theme of the places is great for kids and sport team functions the food is not that good and way over priced. Ordered a sandwich on a Saturday night and the girl at the counter had to check and see if they had all of the ingredients. While it tasted good, I wouldn’t expect a panini to be served on rye bread unless asked for. I also think over $ 4 for a draft beer in this town is a bit much. The kids had fun playing the video games but it is certainly not someplace I will return to.

Wow this place has changed over the years. Currently it’s main theme seems to be sports bar with full menu. They have a regular seating area as well as outdoor seating separate from the bar. To one side is the large take out area which has a showcase of nice pastries to add on. We ordered a small cheese and eggplant cutlet pizza along with wings. The pizza and wings were decent but pricey for the amount received. Wings didnt have much sauce nor did they include celery and blue cheese. We added on some cannolis for desert and they were ok. Good for a quick take out bite.

I have a love-hate relationship with this place. I love that it’s the closest thing to a sports bar in the area. They have little sound boxes at each table where you can choose which TV to listen to. That’s kind of brilliant, and that’s why I keep going back.(Full disclosure: I don’t have cable, but I like to watch sports.) However…the food is not really that good. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu and I have yet to find one item that I would order a second time. The beer selection is about average. They usually have one or two beers beyond the typical domestics. And the service is hit or miss. This place is understaffed, so I avoid it on Friday and Saturday nights. The weirdest thing about Tony’s is they have this basketball hoop set up where people give the waitstaff a buck to try to make a few shots for a free pizza or something. It’s really tacky. Two questions. 1. Why is the basketball hoop set up in the middle of the restaurant and not to the side? 2. Why would you keep your waitstaff from waiting on customers in order to watch some 13 year old kid shoot free throws? It boggles my mind.

Well, we gave it another try & it was worse than ever!!! The sandwiches had the least amount of ingredients one could get away with(without calling it seasoned bread) & what little atmosphere they had is now all gone. It is now full of old(broken) overpriced arcade games and broken shitty bar furniture. What a waste of a good space! UGH! Good luck with the shitty kid’s partys because that’s all you are going to get. FAIL.

We used to go to Tony’s for subs once a week. Over the years, the service has gotten worse. Tony’s has always hired high school students and they’re pretty dim; no problem solving skills and you will be lucky if you get what you ordered. They’ve recently remodeled it is now a family sports bar. Parents are super cheap by nature so I’m sure only high schoolers would take a job like that. If you don’t like screaming kids and servers who don’t care, don’t go. On the positive side, the food is decent(but not worth the experience).

If I were to rank the pizzas parlors(normal Pizza) in order in Utica area this place would consistently be one of the top 2 or 3 depending on my mood. I don’t think its fair to compare this type of pizza with Joe’s or O’s or tomato pie if you know what I mean. Back to Tony’s, amazing greasy crust, perfect balance of cheese and sauce. The best piece of the pizza is the little triangles on the edge. Getting hungry just thinking about it.

We get this every time we visit my mother in law. The pizza is authentic NY pie at its best and the barbecue wings are amazing. f you’re in the area, go here!

Their pizza is like a taste roller coaster. It’s never the same twice and it goes from awesome to tasteless in a matter of a day! the rest of the food is usually good and the service is OK.

Worst pizza I’ve had in a while! The plain cheese slice was not tasty at all. The only positive thing about their pizzas was that it was cheap.

I love this place; Tony’s was my favorite pizza as a kid, and I see no reason to change my mind as an adult!(Nobody, but *nobody* makes pizza like Tony’s!) Delightful, flavorful, and cheap, you have to bring out of towners here on the«taste of Utica» tour –right before you feed them tomato pie and riggies– so they’ll FINALLY know what the hell you’ve been on about all these years! Yeah, Tony’s rocks!

I can’t get enough of this place. When I am back in CNY, I eat at Tony’s at least once, even if I have to eat it for breakfast. Wings are some of the best I have had, and their pie is awesome. When I show up with the high school buddies, we usually get 50 wings and a large cheese, a sandwich or two, and canoli for desert. We also get the sausage rolls to go, since they tend to travel and ship better than the wings. Oh, and did I mention the price? Of course it’s not 12.50 for a pizza and 50 wings anymore, but it’s still a great bargain. You will never pay 50cents for a wing again after you eat at Tony’s.
