I will have to say, this place is very comparable to 5 Guys in the style of burger and fries. They have way more shake options. The burger itself is great and could have been even better with the bacon a tad less cooked. The fries we delish with some vinegar. Would for sure come back.

We went late at night, around 9. Service was good, food was good. Burger has lots of toppings, reminds you of 5 Guys. fries were very fresh and excellent! I would definitely eat here again for a burger fix!

Decent food, the wait isn’t too bad and I can’t complain about the price but they forgot the cheese on my cheese burger for the second time this month. It’s a roll of the dice if you are going to get what you ordered/paid for.

Didn’t have a good experience. The burger buns were cold. Onions rings were not crispy, and fries were too burnt.

Meh. I suppose it was okay for an «I’ve had a little too much to drink and need some food before I head back to the hotel» kind of meal. Pretty slow for what is essentially fast food. I got it to go because the space itself was pretty disgusting. Dirty, trash everywhere… not very appealing. The shake was good, for sure. The burger was okay, but definitely not worth the price. This won’t be the worst burger place you’ve been to, but no real reason to go there unless you are out of other options.

While a burger is just a burger to some, Z is absolutely amazing. Not a bad item yet 4 out of 4 I’d great if you ask me

I thought the burger was bomb and the shake was too, the customer service was just as good. I got a veggie burger with the z sauce and a strawberry cheesecake shake. Really good! I would come back and I would recommend the place

Amazing burgers and service! Best tiramasu milk shake ever. So kind and efficient with our overwhelmingly large group. Definitely will go back

Got this ratchet thing via Seamless and when I called the manager he wouldn’t give me a refund or send a replacement. Stay away seriously.

This burger joint is convenient to my girlfriend’s house, so i’ve been a bunch. Here is what I learned. The onion rings and fries are very inconsistent here. I’ve had awesome and soggy of both come out of the bag. Second, the kitchen staff here always seems to be working incredibly hard, but something about the way it’s set up seems to keep the place in a constant state of chaos. This has been true over several months of occasional visits. T he whole vibe of the place is a little strange: the hamburger buns they use are often sitting in the open, still wrapped in plastic, stacked in pallets either outside the restaurant or inside the small dining area. The staff is very welcoming; the visuals, not so much. Third, I’d say I get exactly what I’ve ordered 50% of the time. That’s a problem for a place that uses the Five Guys model of letting you customize your burger with a ton of options. I’ve never had a total disaster, but check your bag when you get your order. Shake Shack is a lot better, but this place is fine if you’re craving a burger that’s better than normal fast food.

Quick service, big portions, and a must if you like that greasy burger kind of joint(think Five Guys, not Shake Shack). The portions are a huge plus and definitely good enough to share one order if you have a small appetite, but the food here is just OK to me. Fries were unseasoned and not too crispy, and the burger, while big, didn’t stand out to me in terms of flavor. The toppings were fresh though and maybe Halloween night wasn’t the best time to go to get the tastiest burger, but even so, it’s worth a try if you’re craving a burger in the area.

Although the food is amazingly delicious, this«fast food» joint definitely lacks the fast in a major way. I called in my food, and they said 10 minutes… I show up 15 minutes later, and my food is not only NOT ready, but it’s made Wrong when it is 15 minutes later. The staff seems more interested in talking to each other than the customers who are waiting. 25 minutes for a burger and fries? This isn’t the sort of place for that. Then he tried to give me only half of the food I ordered. Don’t mess with a HANGRY customer

Came today to try the Krispy Kreme shake. I order a bacon cheeseburger to go with my shake. The«manager» on duty(a woman who did not want to give me her name) looked at the receipt after we ordered because the cashier thought he rang us up twice. After confirming the order, the manager delivered our burger and said she did not have the shake. She said«sometimes we have sometimes we don’t, but I don’t like it anyways». She asked us we wanted to try a different shake and we told her we only came for that shake. She said it wasn’t good anyways. After going back and forth about how she did not care for the shake(which by the way… we never asked her), I asked if she could just refund our order. She said«the burger is already made». I told her«I only ordered the burger to go with the shake». She said«that makes no sense». WOW. She rudely refunded the money on the card and when I asked for her name or owner’s name she refused. I told her«that’s ok». I am not the mean person when it comes to food, but I felt like a better way to handle the situation would have been to comp the shake and continue on with our day! Trying to convince a customer that the menu item they desire is «not good» is NOT the correct way to handle business. She was rude and very unprofessional. They had 3 customers(including us two) so it wasn’t like we were interrupting a busy Friday. Oh and keep in mind she reviewed the receipt before they even started preparing the burger.

Ooof. Overpriced, lacking in flavor, and an overwhelming dessert beverage menu. Z-Burger needs to focus in on something, either lower prices to match the quality of their food, or gourmet shakes rather than just an absurd number of flavor options – because right now the most memorable quality of Z-Burger for me is that it’s like a knock-off Five Guys… in the town that Five Guys originated. Weird. BURGERS: Nothing special here. Decent meat and toppings. Wide variety of customization options. ONIONRINGS: Dude, I love onion rings. I didn’t love your onion rings, and it’s not onion rings’ fault. Why’d you let them sit in an oil bath for so long? They didn’t deserve that. FRIES: Their fries are thin cut and old school with bits of potato skin lining the edges. Never really met a fry I didn’t want to eat. SOFTDRINKS: Z-Burger has the Coca Cola Machine with the touch screen and several flavors of every drink. The Mr. Pibb shouldn’t have been the highlight of my meal, but it certainly was. DESSERTBEVERAGES: Z-burger would benefit from scaling down their shakes and malts menu to a few really flavorful and unique options. Having an entire wall of the restaurant dedicated just to displaying the shakes and malts is distracting. I spent an hour in Z-Burger during the lunch rush and each of the 9 – 11 people who had ordered a shake ordered one of the most basic flavors after remarking about the quantity of options, with the most daring flavor being chocolate peanut butter.

First off, the staff here was all hustling and working hard. If I was running a restaurant or burger shack, I’d want staff like they have. I’d also point out that I came right before someone ordered NINE subs and right after me someone ordered ELEVEN burgers. That may have an impact on today’s visit. The layout of this place is designed for chaos. Very little place for people to stand around, and a very large table in the middle of the lobby area. Felt like we were in the Metro during rush hour, everyone was packed in. People literally had to leave the building for me to get past them to get out too. It’s just badly designed and no room inside. The burger was ok. Not great, but OK. Seeing the huge drawer of meat, the snowballs scooped out, and the smashing on the grill may not be appealing to some; I wouldn’t have designed the place for people to see the grill if that’s how they make their patties. Other comments on this page about lots of condiments(especially mayo) apply. I’m glad I asked for light mayo, because I saw them put two or three tablespoons on a burger. This is why Americans are fat. The fries are generous portions to the point of ridiculousness. I should have asked for 1⁄3 the order; I got the regular size(not the large) and received a lunch bag completely full. Threw out about 2⁄3 of them. Fries were also ok, I wouldn’t say they were great. By the time I got them, they were room temperature and soggy. Flavor was the same as Five Guys, if you like their fries you’ll like these. I think they were cold by the time I got them possibly due to the people ordering way too much food mentioned above. They forgot my milkshake when giving me my order, causing me to wait an extra five minutes. That’s not a horrible thing, especially in a fast food place where people order too much at one time(including me, the order before me and after me, there were TWENTY-ONE burgers and subs ordered). Ignore my comment about the large portion of fries for a moment… the shake was plenty small for the price. $ 5 for I believe 12-oz. I got the Irish Crème, which I wouldn’t get again — it had a strange aftertaste, maybe strawberry. I didn’t see anyone else get a shake before me, so can’t say the machine was dirty. Could have been the Irish Crème flavor itself that’s just not as pleasant as say a Bailey’s. I may give the place another try. Not soon, I was curious to see how they were and now I know. But maybe next time I’m curious about a different shake flavor — and remembering the price on them for what you get. I’ll definitely skip the fries and maybe the burger too.

Ugh, why do I keep trying. They had posted a Unilocal check-in offer for free fries when you purchase a burger. I bought a Groupon earlier in the day and used that to purchase two burgers. I show they got my check and offer before I order and he knowledged it. When I picked up my order, I realize the fries were not in the bag. When I asked, they refused me my free fries. Have a told me that in the beginning, I probably would’ve ordered fries separately. By the way, Z-burger, this is how you turn a happy customer into an unhappy one. I had previously had a very poor experience and another one of their locations. They had completely messed up my order and left out many of the toppings. I decided to give this one a chance but honestly, I think I’ll just stick to Five Guys.

I can see this as a quick fix if you are desperate for a burger, but it doesn’t even come close to the quality and tastiness of INO. The onion rings are great, and battered right in front of you. The strawberry shake was AWESOME, but we threw out the root beer shake and the vanilla malt, which were horrible. Not sure how those can be screwed up. Be on the lookout for the lady on the sidewalk outside threatening everyone with a plastic hanger as they leave.

Good burgers working on the Five Guys/Shake Shack model. Quick and friendly service on the counter. Good burger(bacon cheeseburger w bbq sauce and onions) and fries… a small fries can feed three people! Onion rings were doughy and fried, but they lacked a little flavor. Didn’t try a shake. Price was fair. I’d gladly come back and grab a burger.

I’ll be nice since I came here late and there was a big rowdy group waiting for and demanding their food. The space is small, especially when more than 4 people are standing at the counter waiting for their food. The staff was doing the best they could but I’m guessing this location is still working some kinks out. I was told they didn’t have the ingredients to make the concretes(custard ice cream blizzard type desserts) but I could order a milkshake. I settled on a marshmallow milkshake and it took more than 15 minutes to get it. During that time I saw all sorts of food items being prepared. The spatula scooping and slathering heaps of what I assume was mayonnaise was a bit off putting but I bet it still tasted good. Plus with that amount of waiting time I reconsidered my choice several times, but when I finally got that cup in my hands I was glad I waited it out! I imagine a return visit during off peak times would have better results. Can’t wait to try more milkshake flavors!

There are delicious burgers and reasonable prices at this Z Burger location and I love the new outdoor space. The staff is super really nice. I didn’t catch her name but the woman with a manager apron taking our order awesome! She recommended the strawberry shake when we were having trouble deciding and even split large into two cups for us(going above and beyond). That’s the kind of service that will me coming back. :)
