This place is matter of preference. But the rooftop level was overly crowded, hardly any room to breath unless you go to a side area reserved for VIPS. They played Trap music the whole night. Not fun for a older, mature crowd.

Came here for a brunch event and it was good. The food was cool and the crowd was mixed and ok. Drinks were good and I stayed longer than I originally had planned on staying. I would come back as I enjoyed myself a lot and it was a fun Sunday for me at this place. Overall it was a good time.

I like Ozios a lot but I had an issue here that has turned me off. I bought a bottle and I was walking around with it. The security literally plucked the bottle from my hand and walked away with it and put it behind the counter. When I asked for my bottle they refused to give it back. I then spoke to an assistant manager about the matter, a young woman who seemed very disinterested, and she responded there was nothing she could do. Very strange incident. You would think Ozios would treat it’s money-spending patrons better. *shrugs I won’t be returning here after this incident.

Brunch Review: Absolutely horrible Mimosas and Bellinis. I mean, you really know it’s bad when there isn’t any bubbles in your drink. They are definitely not using orange juice, I’m pretty sure they are using orange sugar packages, mixed with water and the cheapest champagne that you can buy. We told the waitress the drinks were watered down and she literally told us she already knows, but management won’t let them add champagne or change the recipe. We were told there was a 1.5 hour brunch limit which we were initially upset about but guess what? We were all completely over brunch 45 mins in. They really don’t need that time limit. Food was from a buffet and everything was cold. Friends liked the made-to-order omelet. Please do not put yourself $ 40 dollars in the hole by visiting this awful place during brunch. This was the worst brunch I’ve had in DC.

This isn’t really your typical bar in DC, but once you go in, it certainly feels like your typical bar from DC even though it’s incredibly spacious and has the potential to be a beautiful venue. Now, I like cigars, and I’d be the firs one to get excited about finding out this place allows cigar smoking, but it’s everywhere. It’s everywhere and it’s not a cigar bar. If you don’t particularly mind the smell of smoke, you probably want to pass on this place. It has three floors(Ithink) including a beautiful rooftop patio. I came here one evening after work for a… networking-oh no, really an ambush pyramid scheme– event. Although that left an awful taste in my mouth I saw the clear potential of the place. It’s not fancy, super casual and I can see this being a good spot for locals. Drink prices are on par with every other place around, but I’m not in a hurry to rush back here.

We stopped by this place while bar hopping on a Friday night. They charge $ 20.00 to get in, a little steep considering that you are going to buy drinks and maybe eat-but I think that is about average theses day. Did not know they have a cigar bar-I have asthma so was not able to hang out there!!! The DJ was decent, but could have been better. The VIP area seemed a little unorganized, but still nice. Overall the place itself is nice, and has good music.

My Ozio’s experience has come full circle. Stopped by for a friend’s birthday brunch and without fail Ozio continues with the let down experience. The brunch is $ 40 for a buffet and all you can drink mimosas and bellinis. The maze that is Ozio’s was featured in the most recent trip. We were seated on the 2 ½ floor and it was pretty confusing just getting to our table. The brunch buffet was on the second floor and the rooftop so each trip to get food required a walk. All the protein that I had was dry and over cooked. The fish was over done, the chicken wings and the chicken on the smothered biscuit. The mac and cheese was short on salt and cheese. The fruit wasn’t bad though. They also had a third party providing small dessert cups, the strawberry shortcake wasn’t bad but the banana bread pudding was really sweet. Our service got better towards the end of brunch but in general the servers seemed disinterested and unhappy. We also had reservations for 9 people but our seating fell short of being able to accommodate our group. Needless to say I’m still refusing to recommend Ozio to anyone for any purpose other than stopping by early for a bar crawl.

I enjoy Ozio’s day party, drinks, DJ and crowd… BUT the women’s bathroom need serious work. Also bouncers can be a bit aggressive with where your standing and partying.

Their security personal are dumb and untrained who can’t resolve issues. If you really want to go to this place make sure to check their dress code rules. Other wise they will charge you $ 40 dollars plus cover charge $ 20 more. I don’t think I will go back there.

Ozio has never been my first choice for a night out but i’ve always had decent times here. The music is decent and the rooftop has a nice vibe depending on the crowd. I’ve never tried their food and the drinks are so-so(it would be remiss of me not to mention that I usually end up here after I’ve already spent some time elsewhere eating & drinking). I’ve never had any negative run-ins with staff members so it earns an «A-OK» in my book.

It’s ok, I just come here to celebrate with my buddies a few times. It could be a hit or miss. Oh and the woman’s bathroom is always disgusting, especially the rooftop bathroom. That’s all.

Honestly, WTF is this place? We stumbled upon this bar on St. Paddy’s day because we had had a few and were in the mood to go dancing. My friend left us briefly to go outside for a cigarette — even though we were in the open roof section(which, would be cool if the surroundings weren’t so… atrocious.) I mean really sketchy. Anyway, we waited quite a while for her and then our other friend alerted us that she wasn’t allowed back in the club because she was«drunk.» We were expecting her to be on the floor, passed out drunk or vomiting or something terrible. Turns out, she was fine — the bouncer was being the biggest A-hole in the world and being really rude and discourteous. The staff here is deplorable and made my friend feel bad and worthless. While my friend was waiting to be let back in, he was letting people in without checking their IDs. So red flag there. Needless to say, we will NOT be returning. Word of advice, treat your clients with a little respect if you want repeat business. If I could rate this place zero stars, I would.

Honestly was kind of excited to come here. Yes it was a Tuesday night and we were probably one of only 5 – 6 people in the bar but the worst part was the service. We brought our 21 year old birthday girl in to get her a few cocktails before she went to bed. The bartender seemed completely uninterested, obviously because it was late but either way in a rude way began mocking us. Yes we are in our early twenties and he is probably used to serving an older demographic, but that is no reason to treat any customer like he or she is an idiot. I.e. «It’s our friends birthday, what would you suggest she drink?» «Well obviously you’ve drank before, what do you like?» «She likes tequila, so maybe could you do something special with tequila for her» «Well there’s only one drink on the menu with tequila so I guess you’re getting that one.» Didn’t even wait, our friend ended up shrugging and accepting the drink. On top of that, he ended up pouring less than a shot of tequila in her drink and continued to pass her the cocktail. Then proceeded to tell us that he was closing up in 5 minutes even though the place normally closes at 2 [it was 1, last call usually at 1:30]. The worst part of it all, was he was making some $ 60-$ 70 bucks off of us on a Tuesday night with only a few beers he had to pop open, and an alcohol-less cocktail he had to serve and he acted like he wasn’t having it. So this is a message for him…“If you can’t treat your customers with respect, regardless of age, demeanor, etc… don’t be a bartender and get a real job you douche.“ Never coming back, can’t wait till the day this crap spot goes out of business so something worthwhile can come in.

One of my favorite places to go to in DC! Saturday day parties in the summer. Sunday brunch. Friday & Saturday night get togethers and Happy Hour from 5 – 8; can’t beat it! I’ve had 2 birthday events here and attended multiple within a two year timeframe. I got in good wth the bartenders downstairs so they make me feel like the regular I am. Ms. Jerri is so pleasant! The food is awesomeeeeeee!!! I would come here before the day parties started just to eat so by the time the crowd comes rolling in, I’m fat and full and ready to party!

The bar itself is fine, but the overall experience is ruined by the bouncers. When the place is empty they’ll purposely take their time with the line to make it seem as it’s popping inside, then they’ll needlessly question you about your ID… What? Never seen an actual New York ID before? You’re not an FBI agent, I know you tried — but there’s a reason why you’re working as a bouncer instead. I was ready to drop a good amount here but changed my mind after dealing with the bouncers inside as well, and left without getting anything. Word of advice to the management: your security is costing you business. Either get better trained security staff, or decide if losing business just so that they can power trip is worth it.

Decided to check this spot out after getting free tickets on Eventbrite. They were going to charge my boyfriend a $ 20 cover charge for having shorts on, despite the tickets, so we returned after a quick costume change and utilized our free tickets. I am glad we took the short walk back to the hotel to change versus handing over the money. There was quite a few people there spread throughout the various levels of club but most of the congestion was on the roof top. The DJ was okay, nothing to write home about. Drinks were ridiculously over priced, even for DC, so buyers beware!!! The décor could definitely stand some updating. Overall something just felt lacking. We had a few drinks and then moved on to the next watering hole. I probably won’t come back here, even with free tickets. Save your money and go elsewhere. You have been warned.

I could never in good conscious recommend anyone ever going to Ozio. I have been here multiple times over the years and never ever enjoyed myself. The bar itself is a nice size but it’s narrow and spaced oddly over three flights. The layout itself just annoys me. The crowd sucks, only the worst of the worst go here, it’s nothing personal, I’m sure the people that go here regularly know they are the worst, why else would you repeatedly patronize this place if you weren’t horrible. Prices are a bit much even for downtown DC, close to 60 dollars for hookah, flat out ridiculous. Service isn’t half bad, I’ll give them credit for that, the bouncers aren’t that douchey and the bar staff is decent enough. I wish I was articulate enough to put into words how much Ozio sucks, don’t ever, ever go there.

Whether you will like this place depends on what you are looking for. If you want a cigar/cigarette/hookah filled dance party, you are in the right place. If you are looking for a chill spot to hang with your friends and people watch, you are in the right place. If you are looking for the ability to have a conversation with your friends, order a drink without a snarky barmaid rolling her eyes, or coming in contact with any strangers you might consider being seen with outside of Ozio… this is probably not the place for you. All that aside, I enjoyed myself. It’s not the best bar in DC, but it’ll do in a pinch. There is lots of space for the hookahs, there are three levels to eat/dance/smoke, and the rooftop is usually party central. The food is not the main attraction. As usual, stick with appetizers and drinks. Yes, it’s loud and crowded with a 20s/30s crowd, but it is a club after all. If you aren’t expecting too much, you’ll have a great time. Party on.

This place is okay. I don’t like cigars/cigarettes, so I have nothing to compare it to. The food is decent. I like the burger and the quesadilla so those are the only things I’ve ever ordered but I have tried the wings and other items. The DJs are all decent. It’s always a good spot to go dancing and day drinking with your friends. There’s usually a deal or special but you have a time limit before the deal ends.
