Tried this food truck tonight at Truckeroo, and I would agree with what other reviews have said. Save yourself the wait in line and find another food truck option. The macaroni was extremely mushy, and I barely tasted any cheese. The cheese itself had a rather mealy quality as opposed to the gooey consistency you expect from a good Mac n’ cheese. I would compare the Mac to the kind of stuff you were served in your school cafeteria. I gave two stars because the BBQ topper wasn’t awful. However it wasn’t a standout either. I got the pulled pork. And, well it was pulled pork. It was ok, thankfully not dry. The BBQ sauce was decent. I got the medium, and there was a low-key spicy kick to it. The flavor was also really smokey. Frankly I’d rather get that nuance in the meat rather than the sauce. All in all, you’re not missing out if you don’t try this food truck. Especially when there are others out there — with good Mac n’ cheese.

I was hungry for some mac n cheese and what I got from this food truck was inedible! It made me think of dishwater. The noodles were soggy and you can tell that the mac was baked in the morning and then just steamed all day. The cheese was non-existent. The whole dish lacked any kind of flavor. I will not waste my money there again.

Save yourself an aweful lunch and go to the next truck. The macaroni was total mush and there was barely a hint of cheese. The one saving grace was that the BBQ sauce was decent enough for me to consider bumping it up to a two star review; however, my next bite(I use the term ‘bite’ very generously) of noodle mush cofirmed that this food truck does indeed deserve only one star.

I had the Bacon Mac. They don’t know how to cook. The Macaroni was practically mush. They didn’t parboil the mac and then bake. I didn’t even need to chew. Just smashing my tongue against my hard palate was enough to dissolve it. Of course, I could barely taste the cheese. There was bacon in there, but it was baked within and thus, soft. This cost me $ 10 and would only be edible during a famine. This is a waste of a lottery spot.

I got the regular Mac Attack(no additions), and I had high hopes. Unfortunately, those hopes were dashed as I opened the container of grayish, largely cheese-less, overcooked pasta with about 10 crumbs of crushed cheeze-its. Pretty much inedible. Maybe it’s better with meat additions, but don’t bother otherwise.

I ordered the mac and cheese with brisket and it was very good. You can choose between mild, medium or hot barbeque sauce and I went for the mild as I don’t do spicy. The brisket was drizzled with the sauce and put right on top of the mac and cheese. The brisket was moist and the mac and cheese was baked and while it had cheese it was not too rich. It was like going to a barbeque restaurant and getting your main course and side all in one. The meal was not cheap. It cost $ 11 with tax but it was a large portion and I’ll get two meals out of it. $ 5.50 a meal isn’t bad in my book and I’m looking forward to dinner.
