I came for donuts at 5:30PM and they didn’t have any donuts. Dunkin’ Donuts is supposed to have donuts I believe.

The restroom is clean ! I think it’s were important for a place that sale food that the restroom will be clean. After that said– it’s like any other DD branch — you can get whatever you can get in any other DD The branch is nice and clean, nice music. Nice employees

No no no. How can a place that sells donuts not have donuts? I managed to get a few glazed(if that’s what you want to call them) because everything else was out of stock. Upon taking the donuts out of the bag, I noticed the donut had to be days old. The glaze was dried up and stale. Corporate executives need to meet with the manager of this location. This is embarrassing for a donut shop that doesn’t have donuts. And the donuts they are selling aren’t fresh enough to sell.

Staff is friendly and efficient. Orders does not take that long and the managers are caring. Only thing I don’t like about this place is the air suction from the toasters. Once I sit down and have a coffee and bagel in the restaurant and I smell like smoke all day long. So that’s so uncomfortable.

I’m from Massachusetts and am a die-hard D&D supporter. I’ve been to probably thousands over the years since i’ve moved around so much. I mean this truthfully — this is the worst Dunkin Donut’s I’ve ever been to. The employees were rude. I ordered an iced coffee, black. It was the worst iced coffee I’d ever drank. It was so watered down, i thought it was an iced tea at first. Probably the worst part is that because it was late morning, they decided not to make any more donuts for the day. They had a tray of old stale donuts out. Not sure why i bought any, but i did. They were stale. They only had a few types as well, hardly any bagels or muffins. This place is a dump. Will never return. Get your act together, D&D. There’s a great starbucks across the street that will be getting my business.

I am a big Dunkin Dounts fan, so I am glad that there is a location moderately close to me. Since I’ve noticed a pretty large location-to-location variance in Dunkins, I figured I would drop a review. The Good: The food/drink is done well. I’ve been a few times, and the iced coffee always has the perfect ice: coffee ratio — this is vital, and often bungled in the DD locations I have been to down south. Thank goodness! The Bad: I’ve only been on weekend mornings, and the wait is always horrendous. There’s often long lines to order, and I’ve bailed and had to go elsewhere. Last weekend, my friend and I were excited to be able to order within a minute or two. However, despite the fact that 6 people were working behind the counter, it took 15 minutes to prepare two bagels(most employees were working on hurriedly taking more orders for the one pour soul in the food area to prep, or just«hanging out»). They’ve gotta get this ironed out. The staff aren’t the most charming either. The inefficiency is annoying, but thank goodness for that sterling ice: coffee ratio!

I find this Dunkin’ Donuts way too slow and far too crowded. The service is poor and the seating is limited to say the least. I’d probably suggest going to the Dunkin’ Donuts 6 blocks south…

Whether this fact is sad or not, I’m still going to tell you: before I moved I checked to see if I was living near a Dunkin Donuts. This was my go-to place at home, the guys on my street knew my name, and I spent enough time at Dunkin/waiting for Dunkin/wishing I had Dunkin that it brought me actual shame. This Dunkin is about three blocks further than the Starbucks, which I have never been particularly fond of — and before you throw rocks at me for that, keep reading. Come to think of it, there are two Starbucks on the same block — one in Target(shudder) and the other right across the street from it. Anyway … My experience at Dunkin made me want to phone home for the guys at «my» Dunkin. Or any Dunkin in Binghamton. Or any other Dunkin in the continental United States. It also made me want to crawl in a hole and never come out. The Dunkin on 14th also doubles as a Baskin Robbins [enter WTF here] and is so inefficient and awful that I’ll never go back there unless the world is ending and the only way to save it is if I drink the coffee from that exact store. Even then, depending on my mood, I might just let it happen. I didn’t think it was possible for Dunkin coffee to suck, but it did. My shock level has risen to brand new heighs. To add insult to injury, the breakfast sandwich came out wrong and it took forever. DISCLAIMER: Some of these reviews might make me sound like I’m this horrible, impatient New Yorker but I swear I’m not. I’ll stand in line and I’l wait my turn. I was a waitress for years and I’m nice to strangers even when they’re not to me. I’d go as far to identify myself as a generally caring, open, and kind individual who will tip way too much at a restaurant out of habit. For crying out loud, I’m the person that’ll hold the door for you when you’re so far away that it’d be easier to let it shut. So when I say something took too long, or someone was a jerk, or that the Dunkin Donuts on 14th street should be avoided at all costs, I mean that everyone else in their right mind would agree. F-ck my life. I was freaked out by this place. I should have just ordered ice cream(???) Out of sheer necessity, I’m now a Starbucks convert. I’ll drink it. I look forward to drinking it. I actively seek it out. What the hell has happened to me?

After living in NY, I was excited to see Dunkin Donuts come to DC. But this location is the absolute worst! Been three times, and all visits were super slow. It should not take 10 minutes to heat up a breakfast wrap and pour a coffee – mind you, no lines when I went. Most of the staff looks super grungy and operate on their own time, slow as hell. The last time I went, the cashier had hair all over the back of her work shirt(totally unsanitary), then put my breakfast wrap in the oven wrong, then put it in AGAIN correctly, but to a burnt crisp! This location is a total joke, waiting for the U St location to open.

Oh, Dunkin Donuts — you are one of my favorite things about the East Coast. Why are you still not on the West Coast? Sigh. I was in the neighborhood on a work conference, and took a stroll during my lunch break, and was so happy to discover this Dunkin Donuts on my route. Ordered a bagel with egg, bacon, and cheese(yum), and my staple french vanilla ice coffee. Ahh. thanks for tying me over, DD.

The location is terribly designed and so can’t really fit more than 3 customers in line at a time, and it’s likely understaffed, especially with having Baskin’ Robbins offerings too, but can’t blame that on the workers there. On this day, I went to get some coffee and buy some for home. Guy at the register notices me grabbing a one-pound bag, let’s me know there’s a discount for buying two — I wouldn’t have known otherwise. Then, they did a great job with my coffee and bagel, with both guys helping each other out to get stuff done more quickly. Couldn’t have asked for more on a Saturday afternoon.

This is the worst DD I have been too. They really don’t care about anything. The coffee is always bitter and dipping all over. They never taste the coffee they would know if taste like straight carbon. I have been there 3 times and not once did it ever taste like the DD you get any where else. I still nevered tryed their food but I will just wait for the U street to open and pray they it’s the same people working.

I love Dunkin’ Donuts… always have. I wish they were a bit closer to the C’bus Heights metro though. I just stop by here on my way from home before passing out on nightfloat. Apart from location, service here and seating is not bad, nothing to complain about. «It gets the job done,» and other superlatives.

so i found myself in columbia heights, rather early for an appointment to check out a studio apartment. i thought, «oh man! i remember there was a dunkin’ donuts around here, i’m gonna hit that up!» what a mistake. first of all, being saturday morning, the line went in a crazy elaborate zigzag indoors and patrons were outside waiting to step in. after i finally got inside, i found myself with a cast of ridiculous characters. frumpy chick in front of me in sweatpants and uggs: «like, ohmygod, becky. last night was crazy. but josh is TOTALLY into you.» girl who i could only assume to be «becky»: «nuh uh. you think? ohmygosh i drank too much. should i get chocolate glazed or sprinkles?» i won’t continue the rest of that conversation for fear of taking away precious brain cells from you, Unilocaler, but it was excruciating. i kept looking at the guy behind me and we’d just smile and shake our heads. this location is severely understaffed, but at least the staff that was there was friendly. at least, as long as you were friendly to them. if you gave attitude, it was over. i had to wait SO long for my sandwich(i was nearly done with my coffee by the time i got it), and i noticed people were receiving news left and right about no more this bagel or that donut. i was there for a good half hour. good thing i was early for my appointment.

This place is horrendously understaffed. Stopping to get a sausage egg and cheese here took probably 25 minutes. They were«out of hash browns» and the dude working the counter said they always ran out on Saturdays(this was at 10:00 am, not exactly late in the morning for a Saturday). I assume this means that they just don’t have the time to make the damn things. For the amount of traffic this place gets, having one person work the cash register, one person work the coffee, and one guy«make» all the breakfast sandwiches is nowhere near enough. Additionally, at this location you can see how the eggs and sausage are heated(in little plastic bins filled with water) and it really makes your sandwich unappetizing.

I’ve read about Dunkin’ Donuts’ famously tasty decaf coffee. It’s apparently the best of its kind. So I decided to check it out before work one day, and I was uninspired. Mild and watered down, the coffee was a big bummer. Top that off with stale donuts and I’m guaranteed to never come back.

All Dunkin Donuts stores sucks… The coffee is lame and weak and the donuts are small and expensive. I don’t know why people in the east Coast just luv this place. I just go here if I have to get my donut fix on a weekend.

Having lived in Boston, I’m disgusted how few Dunkin’ Donuts DC has, but this one opened several months ago just down the street from my kids’ school. Thus, morning routine: Get ready, drop kids off, get Dunkin’ fix, drive to office. The coffee is solid DD fare — hot, cheaper and tastier than Starbucks(which you find on every corner in DC). The only drawbacks to this location: On-street parking only(no drive-thru), very little seating, and the staff don’t know that«regular» coffee means«cream and 4 sugars, please.» But the manager is there practically around the clock and runs a great shop — fast, friendly service, predictably good coffee, fresh donuts and it’s NOTSTARBUCKS!
