After shoveling snow all day, I was hungry and in no mood to cook anything. I put an order through the Domino’s app at 7:30, and it showed an expected delivery time of an hour. Almost 2 hours later, still no pizza. I call Domino’s…the phone rings and rings and rings. When someone finally picks up, they hang up on me. At first, I’m thinking they did it by accident. I call again, and this time no one answers. I call from another phone line, and again after a dozen rings they hang up on me. I tried yet another line, no amswer. On the sixth try someone finally picks up the phone. I ask her what the status of the order is because on the app it shows that the order has been ready since 7:45. She says they’ve been very busy and backed-up. I tell her if it’s going to take much longer I can just come pick up my order. She says if that’s what I want to do than she will cancel the order and re-enter it. At this point I’m annoyed, but still trying to be understanding that given the weather they might be really short staffed. That was not the case. I walk in the store and was pretty much ignored for a few minutes. A guy in a beanie was sitting near the front, beside the counter blasting music. There were two other employees making orders, who were joking around and couldn’t have cared less about a customer having come in. It was not the sight one would have expected from a place that was slammed with orders. Finally a fourth employee comes out from the back to help me. I tell her I just called a few minutes ago about changing an order from delivery to pick-up…she first looks at me like I’m speaking another language. Then finally manages to find my order. When I asked her why it too so longer for the delivery, she informs me that it takes 2 hours for delivery. I inform her that, that is not the information provided online. She offers no apology, just looks at me with total indifference. And that’s when I went from annoyed to pissed. I told her that I called 6 different times and was hung up twice, her response was«okay.» She didnt deny it, or apologize. Wow. Just wow. I pay for the order and leave. I get home, and upon opening the pizza find out that not only is it close to ice cold, it’s burnt. The crust is pretty much all black. So, I would like to thank the wonderful staff at Domino’s from turning my crappy day into an even worse one. It was clear that you were ALL working really hard to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that the orders were made to perfection. Kudos to all of you.

Placed an order online at 7:54PM for a Large Pizza and an order of cheesy bread. At around 8:54 we called Dominos asking where our order was, because the Dominos is 5 minutes down the road. From 8:54 until 9:55(when our order actually arrived) the phone was busy the entire time. Myself and my roommate both tried calling. Probably placed 20+ calls each over the span of that hour — and it was busy the entire time. When we did get through, and it would ring, no one would answer. FINALLY, when the order arrived, 2 hours after placing the order, the driver didn’t even have a pen. The driver literally has 2 jobs, drive the food to the customer, and get the customer to sign something. 1 for 2, driver. Open up the food, which is, at best, mildly warm, and the cheesybread was severely undercooked. This is the 2nd time in a row where Dominos took ~2 hours to deliver to us and the delivered product was cold and undercooked. I’ve noticed other reviewers recently commenting similar complaints. We will not be going back to Dominos until we can be assured that this has been remedied

I ordered a pizza with pepperoni at 11:45 and it did not arrive until 1:40. I tried calling the place only to have it be busy once. I called twice more after that and then it just kept ringing endlessly. Granted when the pizza did arrive it was warm. But that was literally the only good thing about it. The crust was doughy and seemed undercooked. The cheese hadn’t melted properly. The sauce was awful. It was nowhere near worth the wait or the price. I did order online so perhaps that was the problem, but I’ve ordered online elsewhere and had no problem. The fact that nobody called me or even seemed to care that the order took 2 hours to fill shows how awful their customer service is. My friends and I actually feel ill after eating that pizza. Do not eat here.

Best deal is large 3 topping pizza 7.99 Monday — Thursday for only carry out. This is what I typically get. I like the crust and the toppings.

Placed my online order at 1:03 am. On Tuesday Nov 23rd. They close at 2. It’s now 2:40 and no pizza. Decided to call the store once I noticed my order wasn’t progressing on the Domino’s tracker. Called the store at least 5 times between 1:30 and 2NOANSWER. Based off of other reviews this happens FREQUENTLY. wished I had saw that before I ordered. F*CK.

Honestly this place is a hit or miss pizza wise, usually it is a miss but that is the case for most dominos. This specific dominos loses all my stars because of there delivery service. Recently my friend had ordered to a specific location and the delivery man was rude and seemed clueless on where to actually go. It was very frustrating to say the least when he said to talk to dominos after giving up. Every time I order from here I feel horrible after but eventually I end up ordering again. This place will still receive 1 star.

Ordered a pizza at 7:45 pm on a Tuesday night… It got here a few minutes before 9, and it was cold. I ordered green peppers and half onion, and the toppings were pretty pathetic. Not happy and won’t be ordering from here again.

Delivery 45 minutes late, ice cold, hardly any cheese and toppings so sparse it was embarrassing. 30 dollar pizza and we threw it out.

Every time I go there the manager Josh is a nice guy making the customers satisfied. Also when I call I seem to get him as well and he’s always on point. To be honest their all laid back there ready to get what you wanted with no sour attitude.

Having recently moved to Waltham, I assumed the mediocre Domino’s delivery service I have come to tolerate would be the same here as in the shithole I used to live… WOW I was wrong. If additude/being left on hold for 19 minutes(sorry, couldn’t wait any longer)/ or getting hung up on is what you desire; rather than service and food, DEFINITELY call this dominos. You won’t get courtesy or actual food, just an absolute lack of respect. Or food.

I see the consensus is negative for this place, which is why I’m taking the time to drop a review from the positive experience I just had. This is my first order from them. Based on other reviews, I think the take-away here is that your mileage may vary. I did order at a time that’s between meals too, FWIW. Details: I ordered online around 3PM on a Friday afternoon. I ordered a steak and cheese sub, and a medium-size white pizza with spinach and feta toppings. Total order was $ 15.50 including all fees and tax except the tip. I paid the $ 15.50 with credit card online and gave the driver $ 3 cash. I then learned that I could write-in a tip on the credit card slip which the driver needs you to sign, which is good to know since I had scrounged around to find cash. The doorbell rang 25 minutes after I pressed Submit online with my credit card to place the order. The sub and the pizza were both great. I would order this exact same order next time. Cheers.

everytime we order from here the food is delivered fast and hot. not 5th star because they promise to do it in under 30 minutes and sometimes they go over… practice what you preach man! but overall delicious and reliable.

Time for an update: Pizza is still great, as is almost everything else. Occasionally, the wings come really dry or really saucy, but the food here rarely disappoints. Why the updated review? Delivery. I swear, they’re using a scooter or something to deliver 40 orders at once or something. Rarely do I get my order in less than an hour. Most of the time, its anywhere from 1.5−2 hours. 2 hours for a pizza delivery! I’m literally 2 miles away! Come on guys, really? As my previous review stated though, pick-up is still great, hence the three stars. Delivery? Probably more like 1.5 stars. Let’s go, Domino’s. I’m still waiting for my pizza as I write, an hour and fifteen minutes after placing the order.

I’ve been using the Lexington St. locations for the 16 years I’ve lived in Waltham. They’re not flawless(who is?), but good enough. First of all, I know which Domino’s pizza I like, I think it’s called hand-tossed, and order the same version every time, sometimes switching toppings. I used to call but mostly I order online now. They’ve never not come, and they usually beat the time estimates, which seem appropriate to the time I call(I expect a longer wait around dinner time). Sometimes the pizza is perfect; other times it is a cooked a little longer than I like(I order extra cheese and don’t want it done-to-brownness). I sometimes say«lightly cooked» and that helps, if it’s not cooked enough I can always pop it into the oven. But that rarely happens. A couple of times I’ve gotten the wrong pizza, and that’s annoying as I’m usually starving, but given my choices(eat what I get right away versus call and wait for the right one) I usually opt for the second. When I call they have been suitably apologetic, and offered to send me the right one, which arrives in less time than I expected, perhaps indicating they put a rush on it. This happened recently and I think from now on I’ll check the pizza before I let the delivery person go. The phone service is usually cordial, sometimes curt. As long as they aren’t rude and get me the pizza, I don’t much care. I’ve gone in once or twice to pick up my pizza but would rather pay for the delivery so I do. I’m a Domino’s pizza fan and will continue to use until something changes with the quality of the pizza or the service.

I am officially going down to one star. I am not expecting miracles, just for someone to make the pizza the way I order it. I don’t know why when I order the pan pizza option, I never get it right. I get no cheese and barely any sauce even though this option boasts extra amounts of this items. So, when I do up the anti and actually order extra cheese and sauce, out of pocket, I get a sloppy mess that is barely cooked. Are you kidding me? You can’t be bothered to cook the cheese all the way? Just absurdly awful.

This is the complaint that I submitted to dominos guys: We placed an order via phone on Friday 5⁄9 at 12.40AM, and when the pizza did not come after even an hour, we called up the store to check. We were told that the store closed at 1.00AM, and we could not get our pizza because no drivers were available. Should we not have been told this at the time of placing the order, or shouldn’t the store guy have called us back letting us know that he would not be able to deliver. On complaining to the store guy, we were told to wait till the morning if we want pizzas. We told him that we didnt want any pizzas in the morning, and he said then throw them away. This is a new low for dominos, and I hope someone would read this and take some corrective action. Also, this review is going on Unilocal and google reviews, so at least some people may escape this experience

Didn’t know customer service could be so bad. So bad that the order didn’t even show up. Have to call my credit card company tomorrow to make sure I don’t get charged. Tried calling the store and phone is either busy or nobody picks up.

I mean Domino’s Pizza is Domino’s Pizza every1 knows what to expect, sub-par pizza that’s going to taste wonderful if you are currently dabbling in the«green goblin» activity or downing some brews like Paddy O’ Malley then of course Domino’s pizza might be the most tasty thing on earth. I still am a huge fan of their unadvertised 555 pizza deal which is a steal IMO. But obviously this isn’t the greatest pizza in the world, I usually only order it out of pure desperation. BUTTHECHEESYBREAD on the other hand I would literally fight any1 for. I have a addiction to the cheesy bread, I mean once i learn how to make it i’ll definitely stop going. But for now the cheesy bread at Domino’s remains king and a reason why you should go there! At this location the manager is this stone cold faced dude looks like he is from the middle east somewhere, and he definitely looks like he’s been in a war or 2 I don’t think I would cross him, smile more dude your making customer uncomfortable! But secretly I want to ask him does he know the ways of Jean Claude Van Damme and can he teach me to be a lethal weapon! Delivery times are really slow, don’t know if they have 1 driver or 2 but they definitely take on a lot of orders. Walked in there one Friday night and the entire staff was sweating from head to toe belting out orders and calls literally came in every second. If they don’t pick up the phone right away on a weekend understand that legit they are making a pizza or something else and then trying to monitor that pizza while it’s baking and then take your order. So i definitely feel some sympathy for them now when making a phone order after watching that Friday night debacle play out. Don’t drive to fast when heading to this location because you may miss it, it’s in a small parking lot that comes up on you fast if you aren’t looking. MORECHEESYBREAD please, better yet an entire pizza made out of cheesy bread! that would sell UPDATE on 2÷20÷14: SO my friends and I were pretty hungry and we decided to get Domino’s. Even though I told them a million times that this Domino’s location was filled with airheads they did not listen. I went in and ordered for the group, I said IN A NICECLEARTONEDOYOUGUYSSTILLHAVETHE5−5−5DEAL?! «Yes we do!» Ok great so let me get that one cheese, one pineapple, one pepperoni and then an order of cheesy bread and the cheeseSTEAK sandwich. The airhead rang up the order and then left on a delivery. So then i was stuck with another crew of idiots who gave me the food and then told me to my face oh you never ordered 3 pizza’s REALLY ?! I’m pretty sure two of you were standing next to airhead number 1 while i was speaking to him placing my order. What a set of clowns, I’d rather drive to the Belmont or Lexington location and waste my gas than driving 5 minutes down the road to this location. ALSOTHEMANAGERWHYDOYOULOOKLIKEVLADIMIRPUTIN when every customer comes in?! GRIMFACEDNOTWELCOMINGATALL, LOOKSLIKEHE’S ABOUTTOGOTOWAR, smh AVOIDTHISPLACELIKETHEBUBONICPLAGUE. I’d rather eat the brick hard crap frozen pizza at the SuperMarket than come to this location ever again.

Absolutely terrible. So bad. They overcharged me on my entire order, even after arguing about the price. I kept repeating the correct prices that are visible straight from there website, but they would not listen and decided on their own prices. They ripped us off. Next day, I decided to order a Chicken Habaneo sandwhich. I’m waiting for the delivery, and finally I get it. I open the box, and… it’s the wrong sandwhich –__-. They screwed up my order. They gave a completely different sandwichwith bacon on it. Due to a restrictive diet, I cannot eat that. I call up the driver, and explain what they did. They say the have the order, and that they’re coming in 10 minutes. Driver never shows up, I call them about 7 times. Driver sends call to voicemail after 2nd ring. They clearly ignore my calls. And decide not to acknowledge or take responsibility for what they did. I am unable to eat the food, and end up paying for the order + delivery charges for absolutely NOTHING. I tried resolving this issue four times via phone, apparently employees left notes at managers desk. He never bothered to call back, and have some decency for customer service. After my fourth call, weeks had passed by. Finally I called at right time and talked to him, he said«its too late for a refund». Are you kidding me? What type bullshit is that. Businesses have responsibilities to serve their customers. But them? Nope, they screw up my orders, ignore my calls, and don’t offer any compensation. Worst restaurant I’ve ever had to deal with. Their customer service is terrible. Avoid this place at all costs.
