Gold Star Chinese Restaurant

My friend and I ordered delivery and it was 15 minutes late. We waited 50 minutes for our food. But, luckily it was still very hot. I had the vegetable lo mein and shrimp with lobster sauce. The lo mein was good, but not great. The veggies were crisp, but there was not a lot of flavor to the lo mein from whatever sauce/​seasonings they use to make it. I have had other lo mein that had more flavor. I never had shrimp with lobster sauce before, but it wasn’t anything like I imagined. There were five or six shrimp in this opaque broth with white slimy things it it… almost like slimy egg white, but it had no taste. Then were also tiny pieces of grey meat. I didn’t eat any of it, but it smelled like some sort of seafood to me, but that also could have been from the broth that the grey meat was in. I will not be ordering that again and I will not be ordering from this place again.

The manager I believe Tony is fantastic! Very customer service oriented, charismatic, and efficient! Excellent service, good food, and clean atmosphere.

The woman on the phone was rude and disagreeable. Not only did it take forever to have my food delivered, but when it finally got here it was also the wrong order. When I called to make a complaint and to get my ACTUAL order, the woman said, «We closing, give back money» and then hung up. I would never recommend this place; not even to my worst enemy.

poor customer service, order was messed up, not satisfied whatsoever, was also hung up on when calling to say they made the order wrong, i strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere

My friend and I called for pickup for three combinations and when we got home we only got two of the combinations. When my friend called to place the order, she was very clear with what she wanted. she also was repeating the order to make sure it was correct and the lady rudely interrupted her and said «ya ya, 25 minute» and hung up. I called back after I got home, and she said we never ordered three combinations even though we did and they were all different from each other. Three of us shared the food, but we were not impressed at all. First and last time ordering from there.

Great food the only thing that sucks is they are cash only. Haven’t been disappointed with anything we’ve tried here yet from dumplings to soup sweet n sour chicken crab rangoons. They are about 3 minutes down the road and we have gotten our food in less than 20 minutes, excellent service.
Five stars if they take cards :-)

I like this place for take out. The food is good. The portion are big. Their General Tso chicken is great. As are their prices.

Four stars for what it is… a delivery or take out place. I would definitely go back here. It has some booths and tables but I wouldn’t really recommend sitting in… its not that type of place. It was however nice to have a place to sit momentarily as we walked in to order on a whim rather than ordering ahead of time. I had the General Tsao’s Chicken and it was ready after I ordered in probably a quick 5 minutes. It was very affordable and more than filling. The sauce was the perfect amount of sweet versus spice in my opinion and the chicken had just the right crunch to it. I hate when you get soggy chicken and this was not :) The eggroll was basic but good. If you are looking for just good Chinese take out its a good option.
