Always reliable for quick and tasty Mediterranean food. I love the gyro-falafel combo. It is quite tasty and a huge wrap — really enough for two to share and prices are great! I also HIGHLY recommend the baklava. I love the almond and the pistachio. So, so, so good!

reliable, consistent decent food here for years. I don’t think it’s ever gotten me sick either!

Great little sandwich shoppe… Nice selection of wraps, paninis, salads, etc… I felt I had to get the namesake wrap — the pick pocket… Breaded eggplant, roasted red pepper, lettuce, mozzarella and balsamic… Very tasty… Service was quick, great experience… I highly recommend!!!

It might not be fair to judge a restaurant on one sandwich but I grew up in South Kingstown and every time I come back to the area I end up coming here to get a Falafel with the works. I can’t find a place up on the North Shore of Massachusetts who does Falafel like that! The salads are very good too! Very clean and quick service, easy off and on Route 1.

Girls are sweet and attentive. They make great sandwiches in a timely manner. Great music and atmosphere. Try a pick pocket you won’t regret it! P. s. The house made balsamic dressing is to die for!

Great veggie/vegan options. They will customize sandwiches happily. I got the Crazy Veggie with added falafel and no cheese. Fricken awesome. The veggie chili was delicious too!

The works is one great sandwich, 7 $ for one healthy sandwich you can’t beat that, located on a hidden kinda plaza but you can’t really miss, next to dd

Very good Falafel Gyro, and the salads are very good. With lots of Chicken. Self service beverage station, prices are good for the high quslity, but I agree with other reviews that utensils plates and cups flimsy. Best sandwich in the area and healthy.

Clean place, great for lunch or dinner. Great middle eastern kabobs, jedra, tabulie, soups, and wraps. Awesome ice cold salads with fresh vegetables with chicken on top. They offer wraps of plates with many choices of meat and middle eastern specialities.

This is the go-to place for sandwiches! That said, I cannot give them a high rating because they have the most flimsy utensils — the worst — almost useless! I generally get salads here, andI’ve asked them about this. Was told they’ve been asking the vendor for better ones. However it’s been three years… No problem if your order is to-go and you have silverware at home. Otherwise you might be better off eating with your hands.

One of the best sandwich places in town — two big thumbs up. The Chicken Cesar Wrap is excellent along with their Middle Eastern fare. Wife loves their salads as well. Clean, quick, and easy.

I love this place. I’ve been coming to Pick Pockets since the 1990s. The service is great, and they definitely have a great menu selection. One of my favorites is The Pocket– the combination of eggplant, fresh mozzarella, tomato, lettuce, and balsamic is just to die for. I’m also a huge fan of The Pilgrim– which is pretty much a Thanksgiving dinner in a wrap. Another great thing about Pick Pockets is being able to go in and pick up a side. I’ve gone in and just ordered a side of grilled chicken to bring home to add to a salad, etc… if I’m not in the mood for cooking.

They make the best falafel wrap I’ve had in this state. I got one today but couldn’t eat it for about 2 hours. I was resigned to a soggy wrap at that point, but was ok with the prospect because I was really craving it. Well, I couldn’t have been more pleased to find that not only was the wrap NOT soggy, but the falafel was still crispy! And I ate it while driving with barely a spill, which to me means it was proportionate and well-wrapped. They were really busy when I went in but everything was very orderly, friendly, and efficient. Took about 8 minutes total. Plenty of room to wait for your order to be filled, lots of tables to eat in at, clean, bright, friendly. Woop woop.

I always get the«The Works» which is hummus, veggies, tahini, and falafel wrap. Very good and vegetarian which is hard to find in Wakefield. Grape leaves are good, chicken wrap is good, soups are good. I think the business changed ownership about a year ago. I liked the old owenership more. It seemed like the owners, two men who always looked like they just got out of the shower(!), were a little more on the ball. The food came out quicker, there was less junk around. Now they are selling some MLM supplement on the counter, and they got rid of the television. Also, get the potato chip boxes off the drink machine, put the drinks in the back room. Make the place clean. That said the food is always good.

Pick Pockets reminds me a lot of East Side Pockets on Thayer Street in Providence. Service is fast, the wraps are excellent. They will customize any wrap. Their ingredients are great. If I am in the area again I will be coming back. My only problem is that I will never ever pronounce«gyros» as «jy-rose.» These are not the same as Chicago area gyros, but that does not detract from the experience.

I’ve never gotten a sandwich here, but I can comment on the soups and salads. The tomato/basil soup, and vegetarian chili, is awesome. I usually get the tortelliini salad, which can be heavy on the red onions sometimes(just pick them out!), but is really very good. I’ve also had the cavatelli/broccoli, and while it’s not the best, it’s hot half bad either. It’s pretty cheap for the food you get, and they’re good about cents. Generally if your bill comes to, for example, $ 9.09 or something, and you give them a $ 10 bill, they’ll just give you $ 1 back. Or if it’s $ 20.15, they’ll just say $ 20 is fine. That’s why I usually leave a decent tip in the jar. In the summer. parking can sometimes be an issue, but if you don’t mind waiting, spots usually open up.

Whenever I take a trip to my beach house on my to — do list, get my sandwich from Pick Pockets. I’m usually one to always try something new but my go to here is The Works and always will be. The combination of flavors is unbelievable and basically a party in your mouth! It’s the best of the best of middle eastern fare all rolled up into one delicious pita! My brother got the Chicken Pesto, which is grilled chicken, pesto, roasted red peppers, tomatoes and lettuce. He’s a picky eater so I’m shocked he even got this sandwich. He had them take off the red peppers and tomatoes which in my eyes is a sin! Thats what makes the sandwich so delicious. Shockingly, after one bite he realized it wasn’t for him … But for anyone else, a normal human being who isn’t so picky, I’m sure it was very tasty! My friend got the Pick Pocket sandwich which is breaded eggplant, red peppers, lettuce, tomato and mozz with what might be some of the best balsamic vinegar dressing ever! We did a take out order and if you do the same I highly suggest you ask them to put the dressing on the side otherwise your pita will get soggy and no one wants that! This is a really good sandwich, I’ve had it before and whenever I looked over to check on her to see how she was doing … let’s just say I think she enjoyed it as well! Great sandwiches, if you’re going to be in the area I suggest calling ahead because it usually gets packed during lunch time esp. the summer months. I’m sure their big business is winding down now so you shouldn’t have an issue but if you need something delicious, quick AND healthy on the go. get to Pick Pockets!
