We had dinner here last evening, the fish tacos and the scallops — delicious! Leah was our server then and when we returned this morning for brunch. Great hash, beautiful view and attentive service. We will for sure be back.

The music here was amazing, I loved the throwbacks that played. My food was a couple dollars overpriced but it was delicious none of the less. I got the clam and little necks linguine and it was perfect. Definitely recommend that dish.

I’ll get straight to the point: Pros: The location has a nice view of the beach. Cons: I don’t know if it was the dim lights, the service or the night we went but I expected more. The service was not great at all. The waitress we had that night appeared as if she didn’t want to be there. On top of that, she didn’t inform us of the specials they had that night yet we heard another waitress across the room telling another table of the specials! The pizza was too salty and my boyfriend’s Vongole looked unappealing and lacked flavor. I will not be returning.

First time eating here for breakfast. Ordered an omelette and it was great! Fluffy eggs and fully cooked with the crisp bacon and savory mushrooms and creamy cheddar. I enjoyed the crunchy home fries with fresh green onion, something you don’t see too often around here. All served with some fresh fruit. Service was friendly and timely, I’ll be back again soon!

Food was good but service not so much. Server was inattentive and apathetic. Would tell you server name if she introduced herself. Made reservation for 9 when they close at 10. If they did not want customers till 10/10:15, why offer 9PM reservations? No idea if there were any specials because we did not hear them. I ordered the linguini which was supposed to be with little necks and chopped clams in a garlic white wine sauce. Was informed that no little necks available but can have just extra chopped clams. I said fine and it was good but it occurred to me as I walked out that this was maybe just said out of convenience and to get a jump on closing. No bread. No water refills unless flagged down while passing by. Still gave 20% tip on bill given friend paid bill and really hard for me to give less than 20%. No plans to return.

Spent a beautifully warm & sun-filled spring day in Narragansett and decided to top it off with a great supper in a place overlooking the ocean. The view from this eatery is great… the food & service… not so great. Both our meals were bland; lacking flavor and brightness in the taste. Actually thought that the mashed potatoes were a cream sauce! Waitstaff inattentive… water glasses sat empty… dishes were not clear for 15 minutes after we had finished the meal. The inside décor is dark and tired. Perhaps during the summer months on the deck with a few glasses of wine… things look & taste better. Not likely to return…

My wife and I have dinner here tonight. Business seemed to be pretty slow. Service was good along with the food nothing to write home about. It’s winter so of course we sat inside, but I would imagine that the deck would be a nice place to sit and have a drink and some food during the summer. Take aways are that it has a really nice view of the water and is not super expensive.

There the first time this afternoon. The table out on the deck was nice overlooking the ocean. Just a few blocks north of the Coast Guard House. Service was attentive but disappointed in the food. Have the pix, they look great… BUT, the assorted seafood fritters(appetizer @ $ 12) which boasted of lobster, salmon, shrimp and clam inside was very disappointing. 3 of the 6 fritters had nothing inside and the other 3 had a piece of clam, and maybe something else. No lobster. The sweet & spicy aioli was very good. The bowl of New England Clam Chowder was very good. The Fish Tacos another disappointment. Fried cod on a grilled tortilla w/guacamole, pico de gallo, cilantro-lime sour cream and Cole slaw. Looks great but tasteless. They need to make the fried dough piece tastier. Too bland. Has all great ingredients otherwise. Needs to improve that fried batter on the fish. Will go back and try other things. this happens. It’s an extensive menu. The fish tacos at THEBRIDGE restaurant in Westerly is phenomenal. Someone from the restaurant should go there to check it out. They’ll see what I mean. Done differently but extremely tasty and a popular dish.

Stopped in for lunch on an early fall Satyrday. We sat on the deck overlooking the bay… gorgeous view on a sunny day. Service was slow, but the food was good. Seafood fritters were very good, served with a spiciness aoili dipping get sauce. Local oysters from the raw bar were delicious. Fish tacos made with fresh tasting cod but the sauce was somewhat lacking. could use a bit more zing. Lunch menu was moderately priced, but the dinner menu was a bit on the expensive side. Would have been 4 stars but service is really lacking.

The owner Franny is the bomb, excellent place to drink and enjoy your summer day. The deck is great, with good crowds.

As good as it gets — fish tacos and the view were perfection! Fish tacos were quite tasty and the sunset with dinner on the deck made it a great evening!

Great view. Service and food OK — not great. You pay for the view. They did seat us right away without a reservation.

I went back again to Oceanside at the Pier, and this time I had the Mediterranean pizza for lunch. The individual pizza has a very thin crust, sliced olives, chopped farm fresh tomatoes, feta cheese, and mozzarella that is definitely not the cheap Polly-O supermarket mozzarella. I enjoyed my lunch on the outside deck where I had a beautiful view of the ocean. I’ll be back next week for the cod appetizer that I heard that you serve for dinner. The lady who works at the Shell Shop said that it’s her personal favorite, and I shall soon see if it’s also mine. She said that the portion is filling, so I intend to wash that down with one of your exceptional cocktails. Thank you for a lovely lunch and a spectacular view of Narragansett Town Beach.

Went here for the first time on busy Friday night. We sat in bar area. No wait. I was skeptical because I had read some bad reviews but I have to be truthful and say that this place was awesome. Fish n chips were very good. My only complaint was the fries were not that hot. The waitress was very busy and was very apologetic about service but I give her a nine for her service on a Friday night. Also the chicken linguine was delicious. No complaints from our party of 3. Will definitely be back. Joe cardillo was awesome as usual. Yall have to see this very talented musician. He will not disappoint your nite out.

Ocean side at the Pier was great. No wait time when other places had a 45 min wait. Service was that of perfection. Our waiter was attentive and accommodating at every twist and turn. Cocktails were mediocre. Fritters were mehh. The entrees were amazing. I had blackened Atlantic Salmon with pineapple salsa, asparagus, and creamy, delicious, to die for, gorgonzola risotto! The Mrs. had pan seared scallops with a butternut squash maple butter risotto, amazing and orgasmic. If they could get their drinks and appetizers to the same level their service and entrees are at they would easily pull 5 stars from me. So order water and skip the fritters.

We stumbled upon this beachy place after walking back to our inn because they had a live guitarist playing and he looked like one of our friends from back home. They have a decent cocktail list. Some are served in mason jars. I had the strawberry basil cocktail it was fresh but maybe too pulpy to be considered perfect drink-itude. They also have 8 to 10 beers on tap. The first time we went, we ordered the salmon cakes and they were delighful. 2 burger-sized fried concoctions with spicy mayo and a tiny after thought dolop of remoulade. I was hoping for more remoulade, but oh well. The next day on our way back from the beach we stopped in again. Different guitarist, and we ordered the fried calamari. It was quite spicy since it’s served with rings of hot peppers. I wish they would have fried the peppers in the same way that the calamari was. The hostess was decent. She sat us quickly outside on the deck but there was a delay in when a server decided to talk to us. I can see why the average rating is a 3(possibly because of the service) I liked the food and drinks enough to bump it to a four. Note: They allow well behaved pups on the deck.

Not sure where to begin. This place has a severe identity crisis. I have no idea what it is supposed to be. The prices reflect fine dining but there is music on playing«cocaine» and«smoke two joints?» The food is ok. Had the pizza, fritters, steak and fritta di mar. The pizza and fritters were good. The bread was amazing. The steak was fatty. The seafood Diablo was over cooked. The service has another identity crisis. While our waitress is very friendly, she never checked in on us. We were never told of the specials or soup if the day. We listened to the waitress at the next table. We were not given bread. We had to flag down the busboy. Our water sat empty. Our dirty dishes stayed on the table. Another waitress came over and asked if we would like our food wrapped. Bartender was very nice, as were the patrons sitting at the bar. We will not be back. At these prices I expect much better service and food. The view is beautiful.
