This TJ Maxx is pretty much on par with TJ Maxx stores I’ve visited in Beverly Hills areas, San Francisco, and any other high falootin’ place. Color me surprised. When I walked in and found Vince, Kate Spade, Michael Kors (no, not Michael by Michael Kors), Marc Jacobs, and several other high end designer lines at TJ MAXX in VISALIA, well, let’s just say that I forgot I was in the Central Valley for a minute.
I’m not sure if all of these designer items are in-​house because this location is brand spankin’ new, but if you’re into designer goods at half-​price off, you really should some here.

1. It’s small — I say, this TJ Maxx is roughly the same size as any other TJ Maxx. It’s not a warehouse size like Target or Hobby Lobby, but it’s not «small».

3. Their prices are a bit high on some things – I say, it depends on your operational definition of high. If you don’t know the ACTUAL price of these items, then yeah. You’re going to think these prices are high. If you usually buy your items at, say, Target or Wal-​Mart, then yup! Some of these prices might be «high» for you. But if you’re like me, and you know that high quality Vince items sell from $ 200 at Nordstrom, and you see a $ 39.99 Vince cashmere sweater on the racks, then… yeah. That’s a good deal.
4. If you’re into designer goods/​brand name items, this is the spot for you to shop.

I wasn’t too impressed with this place. It’s small… so it tends to get crowded easily. Their prices are a bit high on some things.
If you’re really into designer and brand name items, then this place would be a good spot for you to shop. If not, then I wouldn’t recommend coming here.
