Terrible service, it took forever as I sat with my daughter waiting for her to acknowledge us, finally I asked if anyone was there and she answered with a rude tone to her voice. This is one of many times I have had terrible customer service! I refuse to ever go back after tonight!!!

Unbelievable Service. My husband and I decided that we wanted to pick up Wendy’s for dinner. As we drove up to the drive thru we were immediately told that they were not taking orders. So my husband asked if the drive thru register was out of order and if we should just walk inside. Right away the lady told him oh we are not taking orders at all right now. As we pass through we see the two women inside and it looked like they were goofing off because we saw them laughing. The rest of the employees were more concerned with the accident that was outside across the street. When I called the store after we pulled out of the parking lot I was told that they were open until 1. So I guess the accident outside was more important than having business in the store. I WILLNEVERGOBACKTOTHEMILLDAMWENDY’S AGAIN.

HORRIBLE! Now you’re probably thinking that it was the food. Nope. It was the LACK of food. Not that they didn’t have anything, but because they literally just didn’t want to serve. Let me paint the picture. The wife and I wanted Wendy’s. She wanted a burger with a baked potato, and I wanted their chili. As we were driving to Wendy’s, we noticed a car accident happened way on the other side of the street from Wendy’s. As we pulled up to the drive through, we were immediately told: «We’re not taking orders right now.». We were baffled. I joked around and said«They stopped all work on a franchise restaurant because the entire staff wanted to see the accident.». We pulled around to the front and there, much to our surprise was the entire fucking staff, smoking cigarettes, and just looking at the car accident on the other side of the street. Yeah, you read right, they weren’t taking orders because the fucking children-like staff wanted to see the car accident. They turn to look at us as if to say«Well, move along.». I’ve never seen such a display of mismanagement or rather lack of managing, of a popular fast food franchise in my entire life and I was born and raised in NEWYORKCITY where you expect nonsense like this in the outer boroughs. So to the powers that be of the Wendy’s restaurant at 1572 Mill Dam Road Virginia Beach, VA23454, your staff, working the night of September 25, 2015 at 7:30pm, need to be COMPLETELY replaced as even proper disciplinary action will not be enough to make sure that this doesn’t happen again.

I’m writing this review while in the drive thru. After waiting for over 5 minutes with the girl Maria continually saying«one second please», she finally took my order. She told me that a chicken sandwich will be another 6 minute wait because they have to cook the chicken(go figure) I Change my order and hear her in the background saying«just give him the regular, he won’t notice». WTF?! And when i get my order, I put my credit card back in my wallet and Maria asks me «do you need anything else»? Trying to rush me I told her«one second please». She gave me a not so nice hand gesture and I was on my way. What a FINE establishment.

Just a real quick visit for a Frosty, so a short review and some observations. First of all I have been to this Wendy’s several times before, so I am reluctant to upgrade quickly and understand previous poor reviews. This location is due for an upgrade, or a tear down like others around the city. The cashier was nothing special, little eye contact and no smile. The Frosty was cranked out in seconds which was great. The dining room was completely dead after 2PM. So as it should be the dining room tables were all cleared and clean. The floor was clean as well, so this is an upgrade no doubt. This is not my go to Wendy’s, but it was around the corner from where I was and worked fine for me to get a cold chocolate treat.

Pitiful. Even for fast food this place was surprisingly terrible. There are a young man, Gary, at the register that literally walked away when I stepped up to order. He just walked around while two other employees were making orders. After the one employee finished an order she came over to the register an took mine. I stood there next to my tray of small fry and small soda, waiting for a jr bacon cheeseburger. The employee taking orders had to ask Gary to make my sandwich twice. He just kept looking an me and taking to someone in the break/office area. The burger was normal but the fries tasted hours old. I was super starving at my 3:30 lunch break or I would have sent them back.

I usually follow the motto, «If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all». Well, not this time. This Wendy’s has been in our area for years, and I don’t remember them ever being friendly or getting my order correct. I’ve called and written their corporate office, and I think they just don’t care about this location because nothing changes. After some time of not visiting this location, I’d give them another chance, only to be disappointed again(cold food, especially at the drive-thru, rude employees, SLOW service, incorrect orders). I decided years ago that I’d just never step foot in this place again, and I haven’t. Do yourself a favor, and go to a different location!
