This place was good when it first opened but it has really fallen hard. The food is not as good as it used to be and the staff now acts like they don’t want to be there. The fries over way over salted. The piece of pie I ordered was half the size it was when I ordered it the first time & the waitress said it was the way it was cut and mine was the last piece. Sure. Another server told me after we were charged for extra bacon(and the promo was free extra bacon) that she could not remove it from the ticket because it was already on there. LoL. I quickly told her to get the manager because that is an outright lie. Instead of getting the manager she removed the extra charge from the ticket. It’s a shame because me and my family used to really enjoy dining here.

Service was good. Food was at expected quality. Just like a Waffle House or ihop. Only giving them three stars because they didn’t put a waffle in my waffle sundae.

This is the nicest Huddle House I’ve ever seen. Seems like it’s very well run too. Food was great, very nice staff and very clean.

Been here three or four times already because I just wanted to try to love the place. Prices are great and food is fast and delicious, however service was horrible EVERYTIME I’ve been! Waitresses are a little clueless and never smile or seem happy. I’ve heard some say they’re «busy» when there are only five tables sat and three to four different waiters. If service was better I would return, but until then I would much rather make the drive to the Huddle House in Chesapeake the waiters are much more friendly and enjoyable!

I’ve been here 3 times and every single time it has been a half an hour for something simple like an omelet There food is alright but dont order takeout here. In most restaurants take out takes priority because you obviously have places to go if you’re ordering it to go, but here you are the last possible priority.

The atmosphere was great, and the store was so clean with great staff. The food was your standard breakfast and diner fare, but it was still delicious and the portions were nicely sized.

Very average restaurant. Nothing really special about this place. Waited quite a while and my food was cold on the outside but warm in the middle. Country-fried steak was ok, nothing special about it. Hashbrowns were slightly over done and too crunchy for me, my over-hard eggs were done well but like I mentioned before it was cold. Waffle wasn’t special either. When I put hot sauce on my eggs and hash browns the bottle was covered in hotsauce so I got it all over my hands, and when I reached for my phone it was sticky from the syrup that wasn’t cleaned up before we sat down. Don’t know if I’ll return but if I do I’m gonna get the buffalo shrimp/buffalo chicken platter. The fries were the only thing that seemed good to me and the corn nuggets which my son destroyed.

I’ve been here many times and every time I come here, the food took long to come. Two months later, I came back and the food was fast. I’ve liked every meal I ordered here, such as their stuffed hash browns w/bacon, sausage patties, eggs, cheese, & toast. Their pecan pie is a seasonal dessert, and it was really good with whipped cream.

I was excited to try this place out as it is right next to the nail salon I like. My husband and daughter and I tried out several different appetizers and meals. Sad to say that everything tasted as if it had been previously frozen and warmed up or out of a can. Disappointing.

Okay at best. Don’t go there if you’re hungry… I’ve had better waffles at other establishments… They remind me of overgrown eggos. The atmosphere is quaint. But that just about it. I left. Feeling very«meh» about the whole thing and just went somewhere else. Where the didn’t substitute the quality of the waffles just to have some«HH» emblem on them. The rest of the food was okay. Though I don’t know a soul who could actually mess up bacon… Very underwhelming.

Really wasn’t expecting much. These places usually arnt that great. It was Sunday morning after church so of course it was busy, however busy or not I should still get service. Maybe not the most amazing service but something! I went to use the bathroom and there was al line. The lady before me came out saying there was no more toilet paper. So I let an employee know I needed toilet paper so I could use the bathroom. 5 minutes later I’m still standing there waiting so I just went in figuring paper towels will work. I was don’t standing there like a fool. Back at the table we are waiting, and waiting and waiting and waiting… No food. People that came in after us were all eating around us. Finally our waitress realizes she has completely forgotten us cause I saw the look on her face when she saw me sitting looking pissed. Miraculously she all the sudden appears with our food. Our cold, soggy food that has been waiting for who knows how long to be brought to us. I had to send the waffle back it was so cold and soggy. The fresh waffle was hot but it was soggy like a pancake. I like my waffles crunchy and crispy. The bacon was pure salt and the sausage was rubbery. The food sucked. The service sucked. I won’t go back. Village inn may be pricey but at least the food and service is always amazing.

Typical Waffle House-like breakfast. Made fast and tastes great. This place is in our regular rotation for Saturday morning breakfasts with IHOP, Cracker Barrel, etc. There are two drawbacks: first, parking is a nightmare so we don’t go as often as we might otherwise and second, the tables are so close together. You will feel like you’re sitting with strangers. Otherwise decent breakfast for a fair price.

Pretty much what I expected. If your expectation are in line with an IHOP or possibly even a Waffle House, you likely won’t be disappointed. I did the ham and cheese omelet with the loaded home fries(All the way… or something like that). It was decent enough and since I wasn’t paying an arm and a leg, I surely wasn’t going to be fussy. I was in the mood for a diner style breakfast and that was exactly what I got. However, the table I was sitting at was very wobbly, which I find unusual for a restaurant that hasn’t been open that long. I hate wobbly tables. Also, my bottle of ketchup had dried chunks of ketchup around the nozzle which represents nothing more than a lack of attention to detail. This would have been a three star review but I deducted a star just on that issue alone. Cleanliness is an area where a run of the mill restaurant has an opportunity to stand out. Don’t screw it up! Parking, as mentioned in numerous other reviews for this place, is always an issue in this development. Just beware of that fact before you go.

I’ve been here a few times now. When I come in, it’s normally around breakfast time, but usually in the early morning when I do go. I can’t even fathom trying to come in after that time due to the parking situation, or lack thereof. Overall, I have had good breakfast experiences here. I usually get the french toast platter with crispy bacon. The french toast is actually pretty good, and I like the taste of cinnamon on them as well. Eggs and bacon are your regular staples you can get anywhere. I’d love to see a lower sodium bacon option, as I do try to watch the amount of salts I’m taking in. Service has always been good and have never had any issues with that as well. A major issue here, along with the other places there, essentially have no parking. Sometimes it’s like an Act of Congress to get out of there, meaning it isn’t happening. I have frequently seen double parking, blocking the road in and out, etc. This is one of the reasons why I haven’t been here other than the early morning for breakfast when parking is actually available. Make sure not to park at the nursing home next door as your car would likely be towed(and they have had notices up about that as well). Although this isn’t the fault of the places here, I’m sure that has hampered business in general since you can’t park to even visit the places here. Overall, I would definitely come back here again. One day I’ll try to come in and have some of the lunch or dinner items instead, once parking actually comes available.

This place is fairly new, we came when it first open, so we can see its progress. From the date it first opened, to today we can see a great improvement in service and time it takes to recieve our food. This place has a great menu, we keep coming to attempt to try all the fun things they offer. Stuffed hash browns to stuffed omelets. They put a spin on breakfast as we knew it. We keeping thier prices to a minimum.

Been wanting to try this place out and finally decided today was worth a shot. As soon as we walked in we noticed a fairly full house but one of the waitstaff pointed to a corner table for two and said we can help ourselves to that table. Pretty impressive. It all went downhill after that. Emily, our waitress was actually pleasant and friendly but the food and drinks were sub-par. My orange juice seemed flat and watered down. I didn’t even drink a quarter of it. Boyfriend’s coffee was«yuck» because even after he asked if they had regular creamer and they said yes, he was still given half and half. They offered milk instead, which was better than half and half but definitely not creamer. We tried and ordered their new stuffed hash brown platters and those were good. I had the country fried steak and he had the sausage and bacon one. Picture showed toasts but we asked for biscuits. One thing I noticed about Emily was that she brought another table 2 drinks, 1 looked like Coke and another looked like iced tea. Coke was held properly and iced tea was held by the top with her thumb in the drink. Eeeeks!!! Can’t say we would be returning. Don’t know how this is a step above IHOP???

I would have to give this place a solid 3 stars. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, I heard this place recently opened this past summer, and since its in the New Landstown Centre shopping center near my work i wanted to stop by and check it out. I wanted to start off my day with a hearty meal. My friend and I came here on a weekday around 9 am. It took our server a while to greet us bc she was busy with other tables. We waited about 5 minutes :(thumbs down. We shared a Country Fried Steak Platter which comes with eggs, hash, and grits and added side of pancakes. Food took about 15 – 20 mins to make. We were the only ones there at the time. It took a while probably bc they’re new. Anyway our server was friendly and attentive. The food was good but it wasn’t amazing or anything. I saw their dessert menu which looked pretty good. I would probably come here if I wanted waffles and ice cream. Overall it’s a quaint, clean, 50’s themed, modern breakfast joint. What I like here is their combo platters. I would still go to IHOP though.

Huddle House has been around for a long time«down south», and I would call them right in-between a Waffle House and an Ihop.(Less menu items than Ihop, but a little cleaner than a waffle house). Probably one of the biggest things working against this location at the moment(and many of the stores jammed in this little section of the Landstown expansion), is the Parking. By the time the Employees of all these places show up, the lot is already packed before 10:30am. When the customers start arriving, it is a battle just to get past the Jersey Mikes cars that have to park illegally on the street coming in, and then the parking lot ends at a dead end, no place to make a u-turn, creating a bottleneck. The dude behind you is gesturing you to «go forward» he won’t back up, and you have to step out of the car to point out to him that there is nothing forward but Dirt and a construction area! Let me sum that up: Parking is Terrible, any time of day. :-) Overall, the pricing is good, and the service was on point as well. Friendly, positive staff working. The food was«as expected» I would say. Nothing unique, but good food and plenty of it. They’ve got to do something about the lack of parking in this area though. 3.5 Stars :-)

HH is a step above IHOP. Settled in the shopping center where it’s ridiculous to find parking, it’s the newest restaurant to hit the shopping center. Walking through the front door I notice it was a diner style restaurant. You see the cooks cooking away on the griddle. You can sit anywhere and the waiter/waitress will come to you. It was clean with comfortable seating. Our waitress came to us right away, greeted us, took our drink order and by the time she came back we were ready for her to take our order. I did have a little wait for our food to come out. Finally, the food is here… taste of the food is not bad but not the best breakfast food either. The MVP platter had plenty of food so was I able to share. The hashbrowns was the frozen shredded potatoes kind– yuck! I think it taste so generic. The eggs were nice and cheesy, that was descent. Now for the biscuits and gravy… look out Hardees! HH biscuit was fluffy/buttery it was good –yum yum yum! Apple pie taste homemade, doubt it was but nonetheless it was good! I doubt I would come back because for me it was nothing on the menu that’s worth coming back for.

The food was ok. Still seems new. It took over 30 mins to get our food then it was cold. The manager never came over to address the delay. Maybe. It enough staff? They have the potential to do really well but the services may be help Our waitress was very very nice she was polite and was sorry for the delay. But when the. Eggs and French toast were cold. We were baffled!
