duck donuts is one of my guilty pleasures. seriously their donuts are like no other. the one at landstown especially has such a friendly staff that helps you get creative with making cool and different kinds of donuts too! especially when i’m ordering some of the office as a treat, they get super creative! the donuts are always made to order, fresh, and super warm. i just wish they had a better parking lot cause it’s always crowded and you gotta reverse out to get around the parking lot(not their fault… just a bad way to engineer the parking lot in the shopping strip). back to the donuts! like i said, super fresh, good, sweet, and almost cake-y. i highly recommend trying it if you haven’t already!

Amazing! By far the BEST donuts I’ve ever had! I’m from Portland, OR home of the famous VooDoo donuts but these have them beat! The freshness cannot be replicated. I’m an addict for life now!

At duck donuts we love that our donuts always come out warm and fresh all the time. I like that the workstation is open for everyone to see how each donut is prepared. It is in a convenient location across from Landstown Commons besides Zoe’s kitchen and they have ample parking space. This is my place to get donuts since everything is baked fresh to order the donut comes out light, fluffy and moist to perfection. From the inside when you walk in you are greeted and the counter areas are alway kept clean. There is enough room to walk around but not as much seating available to customers at times. They only have bar seating and if it becomes packed everyone is left standing waiting for their order. But from every time I’ve came in it isn’t as bad of a wait. Good thing they make it convenient for others to order to go and pick up ahead of time. We came in for national donut day today and had a blast! Warm, delicious and yummy to the tummy!!!

Love love love their donuts! They always come out fresh and aren’t laying under the heat lamp like other locations. I recommend lemon frosting with coconut or chocolate frosting with coconut. They recently expanded their menu with drizzles such as salted caramel, hot fudge, raspberry, or blackberry. They also have new espresso drinks to accompany the donuts and even donut sundaes! My only complaint is their early closing times. There have been plenty of days when I’ve wished for late night fresh Duck Donuts!

This place was awesome! I got here at 2pm on a Sunday, so it was pretty dead. They have a big menu where you can basically choose choose your doughnut, the topping, and a drizzle. I was a bit overwhelmed because there were so many options! There was actually a small pre set menu of 7 flavors that I didn’t even notice until I was almost done with my order. I actually really liked the ones they had on the menu so I took a few of mine out and ordered those instead. And I got a half dozen so I could try as many options as possible. Ha. I literally waited less than 5 minutes to get my order. They were fresh and piping hot! And the girl that gave me my order actually said«Thank You for being so patient». Which I thought was incredibly sweet and a bit silly since I only waited 5 minutes. But oddly enough I really appreciated it! Customer service was GREAT! Someone was always at the counter in case a customer was ready to order. So that, along with a short wait time, big and clean facility, and, oh yeah! The doughnuts! Those were incredibly tasty!!! The only reason it’s a 4 star and not a 5 is because my heart is still set on Mighty Os. I like the cakey aspect of their doughnuts. But this is definitely my #2 spot! Plus, I live right down the street! So I definitely see myself coming back!

I really enjoy Duck Donuts. I first had them down in North Carolina and was extremely excited to know we were getting them here. The last time I went, I ordered a dozen Maple Bacon donuts. The donuts were very good. My family enjoyed them as did I. Drizzled in icing and speckled with Bacon [little skimpier on this last visit], they are delicious. However, as good as Duck Donuts is, there are a couple of things that bug me. In my opinion, I believe they’re a bit pricey, costing more than a dollar a donut is kind of high, but I could be way off. But it seems high to me for standard round donuts. Lastly, and this isn’t Duck Donuts’ fault, but the parking for that plaza is awful. Most times then not, all spots are taken. I wonder how many times the parking situation has affected the businesses in that plaza. In closing, if you don’t mind spending a little more and waiting a little bit longer than your typical donut shops, you’ll love Duck Donuts. But if you’re in a wicked rush, you may have to go somewhere else.

I mean holy COW! I bout had a cow when I bit into this delicious morsel of goodness that was my donut. And let me just say that I’m not a «cakey» donut kind of person(like Dunkin or Mr Donut), but I think this place will convert me. I got mine rolled in cinnamon with a drizzle of vanilla on top. Wowowow. So melt in your mouth delicious. My husband got the Reese’s… And that was amazing too. Their place is quaint, just an open room with self serve coffee and a couple bar stools, but they focus on the donuts and do them right. I was very pleased, and I’m already looking for an excuse to go back!

Couldn’t ask for better service and… well, donuts. The donuts were(actually) «crazy good.»

The best, always super fresh. The parking is horrible but it’s well worth it! The cinnamon bun is my personal favorite along with the French toast donut

Awesome place for donuts. My favorite is the maple bacon one. It is best eaten when hot.

Came in to get one maple bacon donut. It was slow, so when I walked in the door, all 4 of the employees were staring at me. They were all friendly and seemed to handle my not so serious attitude in stride. Donut delicious as always. Could use a TV and maybe more seating to make better use of the open space.

Yummy donuts! We’ll have to try Duck’s again when we’re back in that area. Also, great customer service

I’m a huge fan of the Duck Donuts. Always piping hot and their chocolate coconut is spot on. I’ve never been here when there was a line that wasn’t handled in short order. With all this love, why the 4 stars? Well, the menu is a little limited. So while I love a vanilla donuts with like 32 different combinations, sometimes a guy wants a fritter, or a twist, or something other than ye’olde traditional round donut. Or I want it doughy instead of cakey. You get the idea. But if Duck’s is what your hankering for, this location is great.

I’ve tried 5 different concoctions of donuts they have here and none of them blew my mind. Maybe it’s not my style of donut… Everyone talks about this place so much, but, I just don’t get it. I remember the Maple Bacon being too filling and regretting that I ate two of them. The Chocolate Peanutbutter tasted generic(and that’s usually my favorite!) And the French Toast donut didn’t remind me of French Toast. The French Toast I’ve tasted has a hint of cinnamon and vanilla… this was drowned in maple, and blasted with powdered sugar. It was more like a funnel cake taste. One thing they could definitely improve here is some actual seating. They have a lot of floor space that they could toss in some picnic style tables so people could actually stay inside to eat their food. It’s hard managing a box that’s full of sticky stuff while you’re standing erect.

I’m from CA and have only been out here for a few months. This is my first time trying Duck Donuts and I can definitely say, I will be back! Never in my life have I had such a fresh donut to eat. It was borderline too hot from the line to eat when I got it. I ordered a plain glaze and a lemon glaze, both of which were amazing. They also had toppings I could have added, although I elected to save that for another day. Such a great business model: simple, personalized, fresh. If you guys ever expanded to the bigger cities on the west coast, I can promise there would be a line up out the door on Sunday mornings. LA, San Diego, and San Francisco need some Duck in their life! Thanks for the awesome treat!

The clean shop, good prices, friendly employees, and delicious donuts are why I keep showing up! It’s hard not to smile when you open a box of duck donuts and see the different customized creations you’ve got. I try to get something new every time but my favorite has got to be the maple bacon. and I don’t even really like bacon that much(I know, I know.)! There are so many combinations and the fact that they’re fresh and made to order? Forget about it. I’m already jamming one in my mouth before I pull out of the lot. Speaking of which, the parking situation is what keeps me from coming back every day. I guess my health too. Anyway… I’m hoping that in the future the developers will fix up the parking lot, cause at the moment it’s just too small and difficult to get in and out :(

I feel kinda bad because my review of the first VA Beach Duck Donuts was a little rough. I should probably change it but instead, I’ll write an updated review of this location. First off, know that if you try to get here it’s going to be a pain in the —. The designers of this new shopping center were complete dopes. The parking situation is ridiculous. It’s tough to get in and out if there is any crowd at all. That’s not Duck Donuts fault but it makes going here a bit of a challenge at times. The donuts are always very good and they have grown on me. And since my favorite donut place closed down(boo), we’ve had to find a suitable replacement. Duck donuts does what they do very well. They make the donuts as you order them, so they come out hot if that’s what you want. Personally, we like them later after they’ve cooled off or even the next day. They are very fresh, so they stay good for a couple of days if you can hold off! Our favorites are the powdered sugar, maple, maple bacon and chocolate. And this location is just down the road from us so it’s very convenient. I went at 7 am on a Sunday recently and the parking lot was empty. So go early!

Plain cake donuts that they top with frosting(different flavors and such) to order. I had a maple bacon donut. I’m sorry, maybe you missed that. MAPLE! BACON! DONUT! Yes, that happened. And it was awesome. Fresh donut with good moist texture and not too much frosting(they’ll go a little crazy if you let them) and a ton of crumbled bacon. YUM!

I stopped by for the first time at duck donuts with my cousins and decided to get something sweet after lunch. I heard many great reviews on their famous Maple bacon donut so I ordered 4, one for me, my sister, cousin, and boyfriend. When I heard about this I was skeptical about it, bc it sounded kinda weird, but the outcome was delicious. The sweetness from the glaze on the donut and the salt from the bacon bits, contrast to help balance the flavors together. The staff and manager are very friendly and inviting. Thumbs up!

First time at Duck Donuts yesterday. Didn’t think I would like it, but I surprised myself after having one(or two) that they actually are good. Y’see I’m from the old school and in my mind nothing can top hot glazed from Krispy Kreme. However, I will give a thumbs up to Duck Donuts! What I really like about their donuts is they are made to order so you leave with a box of nice warm donuts. My only negative is the Landstown location needs more seating. There are only 5 stools at one counter area so you feel kinda squished if you have 4 or 5 people seated.
