This place is pretty nice. A must come for the days when they have live bands. Went here with some friends and had a great time. I will warn you though, as this place is full of married women. So many wedding rings, I thought I walked into Jared’s. So if picking up women is your thing, go else where. If having a great time with good drinks, come here.

So impressed with this restaurant. Brought my pup and they were very accommodating! I loved how they had a twist on usual Mexican food. I ordered three tacos; chicken, steak and duck. All three were delicious! The guac was perfect too! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a twist on usual Mexican food.

Really good mexican! Open space with some booths and a separate bar area. Accommodated 27 of us well! The kids meals were great, all but one adult entrée was amazing. Their French fries were skinny, crispy and delicious! I had the taco salad and the chicken quesadilla which had a cream sauce in it. It was good however if you’re not into cream sauce it may not be for you. The tortilla chips had a really great seasoning on them and came with a very good salsa. We had house drinks, the skinny tequila drink was delicious. I would definitely good back and definitely recommend it! I didn’t do 5 stars because I think a few things were overpriced. Also some of the seats were worn out and ratty.

Refreshing to find this Mexican place, as we walked about 2 miles down Atlantic ave, and were overwhelmed with pizza and seafood places. PROS: Great service, cute waitresses. We did the queso dip to start, which was ok. The stand outs… Their sangria. The chicken burrito and fajita burrito were huge and equally awesome. You won’t leave hungry. Great music playing, and then a live band came. The female singer was superb. She belted out Girl on Fire and Santeria by Sublime, like a true pro. Most everything in VA beach was closed, and we found this place actually had a small crowd of cool people. CONS: The chips for the queso dip were covered in Doritos dust or something. It really took away from the queso dip. At one point I inhaled a teaspoon of the dust as I chomped on two chips stuck together. Ick. I had to down water to avoid a coughing fit. OVERALL: Great Mexican. Great sangria. The staff was friendly and energetic, the crowd was fun, and the live music was a blast.

The food was good although they need a little improvement with the service. I had the brisket burrito. I must say it was very good. It was smothered on some type of BBQ sauce which gave it a great flavor. I also had some BBQ wings and were excellent. Like i said before the food was good needs a little improvement in the service area.

I had 3 tacos, 2 fish 1 chicken. All were excellent. Chicken had a bit of a kick. Wife had tender steak. It came with risotto and asparagus, both of which were excellent. My son had the southwest chicken BLT. He said it had a nice look up to it. It came with fries which were quite tasty.

Fast service, outdoor seating, live music, great tacos. What else can you ask for? The owner was very nice, came over with a free shot of alcohol for my best friend who was getting married.

This was an average Mexican restaurant. The menu is deceiving. Different items from most places. We ordered a small pico with chips to start. Most places give you that for free, but this was an appetizer. I ordered the Crab & Avocado salad. I basically had avocados for dinner. No crab in sight. Margaritas are good. I’m very picky about them and was glad they had«skinny» margaritas on the menu. Overall not impressed.

Crab cakes here are delicious. Crispy exterior and gentle interior with a slightly tart cream sauce. The vegetables and risotto that came with it were also delicious. Their burgers are also very good. Juicy and flavorful. Mac n cheese has a white velvita taste, but there is also some other cheese taste mixed in along with a bit of seasoning. Very good. They make great drinks, but they are a bit pricy since their off the strip. Great customer service, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The had a live band play during dinner. That definitely added to the experience.

Awesome place had the combination tacos of chicken, blackned fish and steak. They were so delicious the chicken had a little kick. The tango mango mojito was good and strong now on my second. They have lines of people waiting to come in i can definitely see why.

Good quick food. Started with a strong strawberry margarita and nachos with pork. Nachos were good with a good amount of toppings. The pork added an interesting flavor twist to the nachos. For entrees we has the lobster mac and cheese and the chicken gnocchi. Both were huge plates with a lot of food. The mac and cheese could have used a touch more lobster. Cheese was good and melty and not overly greasy. The chicken on the gnocchi was blackened with good char and it was finished with a roasted red pepper cream sauce.

One of the most disappointing meals/experiences I’ve had in a really long time. We went for dinner on a weeknight and the hostess was disinterested in our existence, which started things off on the wrong foot. After being seated outside, it took a good while to get a visit from the waiter. He was good enough and probably the best part of the visit, which isn’t saying much. The food was pretty crappy, to use a technical rating. My wife ordered buffalo wings, but they were served almost completely dry. I know that dry wings are a thing, but when you specify buffalo sauce as a flavor option, they shouldn’t come sause-less. I got a brisket burrito, which was just ok. Heavy on rice, heavy on beans, light on brisket. At 2.5 times the price of Chipotle, you’d think you’d get hooked up on all the good stuff. No dice. Overall, this place has a weird ambiance, or lack of one. We ate outside, and there wasn’t any music playing. However, shortly after sitting down, they had some live music start playing, but only inside. We could hear bits of it as the door swung open and shut, but overall it just seemed to be a not-well-thought-out experience. I’d recommend finding another place to eat at the beach… there are plenty of other choices.

Great Crap cakes and the burger was delicious! Awesome fries and this comes from somebody that doesn’t eat a lot of fries most the time. The server Grizzle was really friendly and great with the kids. I tried the tango Mango not the best, but it was refreshing.

Wow — that might have been one of the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! The Southwest chicken sandwich. Tender, juicy chicken breast. Spicy jalapeño bacon. Fresh bun. Add that to the attentive service… a visit well worth it!
