Barritt’s Books is a cozy little used book shop in the Pembroke Meadow’s shopping center on Independence Blvd. It’s located a couple of doors over from the Cinema Café. I stopped in here last Monday while running a couple of errands with Mom. She had used Barritt’s finder service to locate a classic book that had been out of print for years which was to be a gift to one of her grand children.
I took a look around while she was at the counter and this place is absolutely loaded with both paper and hard backed books. Prices were reasonable and it seemed that most prices were half of the original book price or less depending on the shape of the book. Most books were in excellent shape by the way.
All in all a nice place, it’s cozy, and there are plenty of chairs around the place to sit back and enjoy a book. If reading is your thing you may want to check them out.
