My roommate and I love to come here! It’s a delicious, healthy and economical alternative to Sodexo. Be sure to sign up for a membership card so that you qualify for discounts! Fun fact: sometimes the organic chopped beef that they carry in the cooler is cheaper than wegmans.

Their hot lunch is easily way better than any mass produced, MOREEXPENSIVE shit the Sodexo company puts out at the university. Probably the best food in terms of food quality for like a 50 mile radius. The food they serve is varied in its flavors and nuance. I eat things prepared by people who know what theyre doing; I’m never disappointed when I eat there They also stock an immense variety of natural beverages, foodstuffs, produce, dairy etc. It’s the only place I’ll eat on campus for sure. They also brew coffee from Laveggio(a top notch Binghamton area coffee roaster). The Food Co-op is really a phenomenal place

The SUNY Binghamton Co-Op serves delicious organic, local, vegan, and gluten free lunches. Every time I have gone there the food has been delicious and the volunteers are so nice. They have a pretty good selection of bulk foods, which is their most impressive retail item as far as I’m concerned. They also have a variety of healthy drinks from kombuchas to organic chocolate milk. Prices are very reasonable and cheaper than Health Beat or Down to Earth. If you are going for lunch, bring your own container to take with you, or plan on eating there in their dining room. It is a friendly, social atmosphere with healthy/alternative-minded people. I’m so happy I found a healthy and delicious(and CHEAP) alternative to the crap food they serve in all the dining halls on campus.
