Bought many beds from here and just got another. They were able to order bed in Vernon hills il and arrange for delivery to the Indianapolis area for our daughter in college. Great service and very helpful.

Mike was awesome. Very knowledgeable and helped us find the perfect mattress the price was great. Delivery available next day but that didn’t work for us so next weekend. The entire process of us trying out lots of mattresses and arranging delivery was under an hour. Would definitely recommend.

We expect to run into used car salesmen at used car lots, not in a mattress store. The man absolutely would not deviate from his prepared script and we were left with the impression that what we wanted was irrelevant. He was going to sell us what he wanted to sell us, regardless. And then he started adding costs so that the one we preferred ended up being significantly more expensive that what he had originally quoted. We left.

You might think I am crazy to write this review and give the company 5 stars. I did NOT have the best experience. The sales process rocked. I had no intentions of getting a mattress. The professionalism and product knowledge sold me and my 16 year old son. Robert was our sales person and Vince the store manager. However, through some circumstances a LOT went wrong. The original delivery date had to be changed due to an internal issue. Then, the day we were supposed to get delivery on Sunday, the trucking company which is a third party did not deliver within the window they were supposed to (truck broke down– I get it things happen). No phone call. No follow up. Back and forth we stayed home waiting for the delivery until 5:30 and the truck company called at 5:45 to let us know they would be delivering at 6:08 but we were no longer there. I had to make a lot of phone calls. Delivered to our satisfaction a couple of days later. I spoke to the District manager, Regional manager, left messages for multiple senior executives. Some were ok calls and some not so ok. Ultimately, I believe that the company did stand by the transaction and their process. After speaking to the Senior Vice President, I felt that we came to a satisfactory resolution, post delivery. I do think that there should be some systems in place to counter problem transactions and there should be more empowerment at a store level.

Started at Sleepys but left just short of completing the purchase because, the salesperson at the last minute added delivery and haul-​away charges and insisted we purchase a mattress cover! And to top it off, delivery in over two weeks.
Left and visited MATTRESS FIRM. Same price but FREE delivery, FREE haul away, same day delivery and no mention of mattress covers! Go right to Mattress Firm for your next mattress!

The sales associate Robert was able to help me find my perfect mattress. He worked with my budget and got me set up for delivery the very next day! I’m looking forward to sleeping on my new bed and plan to use this store for all my mattress needs.

These guys are awesome!!! Don’t go anywhere else. You’re wasting your time and money if you do. They make you feel comfortable and don’t push you to do anything. They work with you on price and help you make the best decision for yourself. I promise this is the best mattress store around. You’re welcome!

Rob Q. was a HUGE help. He taught me how to choose the right mattress and narrowed down the options. Rob was insightful and professionally personal when choosing a new mattress. He being truly helpful and focused on what would be the most comfortable and supportive for me specifically. I went there on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend as my boyfriend had moved out the previous day with the bed. I walked in and was greeted by Robert immediately and he led me through a few bed options. They worked with my very tight budget and I left extremely happy with a promise of delivery same day. He made sure that I had everything I needed as quickly as possible. I am very thankful for the help and am so happy not to be sleeping on the floor another day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We had an absolutely great experience at the Back to Bed (soon to be mattress firm) in Vernon Hills. We had the pleasure of working with Dan T. He was friendly and knowledgeable and treated us well. Price was a huge concern, and they were more than willing to work with us. Dan helped us find a King size mattress that was comfortable for both my wife and I. Overall, the service at back to bed is excellent. They are very patient and they are not pushy at all. Most importantly, we got a great deal.

Bought my mattress Memorial Day weekend. I had done lots of research on Saturday and literally went to every store in Vernon Hills and Gurnee. I had stopped by the Gurnee location but had to get going but I saw the mattress I liked I just wasn’t sure on the price yet. By Sunday I had enough information to know at least what I wanted.
Marc at the Vernon Hills location was great, told me even more about the mattress and quality. I was looking at a Sealy Posturepedic Firm Blakeney. I wanted a firm mattress after having a inexpensive memory foam and literally waking up in pain and exhaustion for almost a year.
My issue was quality and price. I needed the best for the cash I had on hand. The queen set with free delivery was $ 599 plus tax. Marc was amazing and matched Sleepy’s offer of a free frame even upgrading to the heavy duty frame. Additionally I checked in on Unilocal and got a free Mattress Protector which was about $ 50! Service was outstanding and I walked out thinking I was terribly lucky to get such a fantastic deal and could not wait to get my new bed!
I got next day delivery (Memorial day itself!). I was given a window between 9 – 1, the guys called me about 12:30 saying they were 15 minutes away, and it was closer to 5. I cannot say enough about the delivery team too, they had my mattress set up within 10 minutes. Set up the frame, placed the bed and box spring and done! Super fast and professional!
It’s been about a month now and my mattress is amazing. I am so grateful for the excellent service I received from Marc and the Back to Bed team! I have been sleeping great, I get a full nights rest and I don’t wake up in pain anymore!

Great friendly sale staff. Marc knows his beds and easily match me up with a bed that has cured all my sleep problems. If you are in the market for a new bed make sure you stop here 1^st and save yourself from the pain of bed hunting.

I really had a great experience buying a mattress at this Back to Bed. I had gone in simply to price compare; I was actually pretty sold on buying another mattress from a different vendor down the street. But after I spoke with Cory and he shared the benefits of the mattress I ended up getting (a suped out TempurPedic), I could not resist. Cory was very patient with me and my family as we deliberated and always gave us private time so we could discuss what we thought. Cory is the exact opposite of that horrible, pushy mattress salesman!
After I purchased, he called me to update me on delivery and was just as helpful as be had been before the sale. Also, as a note, I live in Chicago, but I have to say: coming to this Back to Bed is worth a trip to the burbs.

Stop by Back to Bed in Vernon Hills today, Waited 20 minutes for Steve (only employee in the store) to get off the phone and right after he said may I help you the phone range again and he picked it up. Tell me, who is more likely to buy… someone in the store or someone on the phone? We went to another store and spent $ 3000 on a mattress and box springs. This place used to be great… we have bought two quality mattresses from them but never again service is everything to me and Steve has no concept of what service is. Look for this store to shut down soon.

I went to this store on 9÷2÷12 to shop for mattresses. Before entering the store, I had just come from Bedding Experts with my parents and didn’t think highly of the previous salesman. Came into Back to Bed and was greeted by Scott Penters. I was very hesitant to purchase a mattress, not only because of the last salesman, but also because my budget is tight. Scott showed us a few mattresses and I really didn’t want to commit to buying, but Scott had made the process easy. We talked about a few other things to get my mind off of the purchase, but ultimately, it was his professionalism and personality that made me go through with the purchase. I recommend asking for Scott when you visit this store because he is a great salesman and knows his products. Thanks again Scott.

I haven’t bought a mattress in a long time and once you start doing some background research, the options are a bit overwhelming. I worked with the manager, Scott, while there (twice), and he was very helpful without being pushy. The delivery was seamless and very fast (drive-​by mattress delivery), and they delivered in the 9 – 1 time frame agreed upon at the store. [Drops voice to a whisper.] And, if you buy the mattress in Lake County and have it delivered to Chicago, you still pay the Lake County sales tax. [Looks around shiftily to make sure City Hall isn’t listening in.]
