DSW is to shoes as Bed Bath and Beyond is to houseware. It’s everything you need, and even things you didn’t know you need. My feet are more designed for shoe boxes than they are for shoes so DSW is my go-to for wide widths. They also carry size 11 for my giant friends. Both of these are hard to find at a conventional department store. Their prices are also very competitive and on top of that, they have a rewards program. I don’t buy shoes very often but they recently sent me a $ 20 off coupon. I put that towards a very practical, comfortable pair of flats for work. Long gone are the days that I suffer for fashion. In addiction to shoes, they sell socks, purses, scarves, etc. All coupons can be used for these accessories as well. Best part of DSW: their sale section. This is a constant-rotating selection. Sales vary from 30−70% off. The section is always kept neat and clean to enhance your shopping experience.

After 2 hrs of searching for new gym shoes at the Mall & other stores. Found an awesome selection & the ones I bought here in honestly 20 mins! Have purchased many shoes here and the selection is always great!

Normally I love DSW! But coming here looking for wedding shoes was a big disappointment. They had one ivory shoe, and it was a strappy sandal. Not so good for a wedding in the winter or fall. Or even spring, necessarily. This IS Chicago. I’d give them three stars if the rest of their shoe selection was at all quality. We had some time to kill before the next stop on our shopping excursion opened, and normally that would be no problem in a shoe store! But there was really nothing at all interesting or eye-catching on this latest visit. Bummer!

DSW offers a huge selection of regular and clearance priced shoes at bargain prices. You can save quite a bit on shoes here as well. I like the clearance selection and the pricing is very easy to navigate with their color coded price tags and signs by each shoe run with the sale prices. However, sometimes, I still think you can get better deals elsewhere. And, while the selection is good, it can get a bit overwhelming at times. And, I agree with Vlad A. — better for women not for men. Overall, OK place and will be back occasionally to see if I can score some decent deals on some shoes.

This is the one of the only places I buy shoes from! Selection is great, pricing is decent and it definitely helps to be a reward member! I receive tons of deals through the mail, and they are always generous with except coupons that are a couple days past their expiration!

Large selection of women’s shoes, but men’s dept lacking quality and selection. The«high end» shoe on the men’s side puts you in a Florsheim or some cheap shit like that. Nice selection of athletic shoes, but nothing really stood out. Rogan’s in Mundelein is about ¼ the size and probably has a larger selection. If you find yourself dragged here by your significant other and think you can wonder off and look for something for yourself: good luck! I suggest you bring an ipod, paper or download some new games to your phone. She will be here for an hour and you will be going insane…

This place is wonderful. They have a huge selection of shoes all at very reasonable prices. When I first went here I was expecting odd sizes or styles however they have very a large selection of very current fashions in all sizes. I’ve been able to find sneakers, dress shoes, sandals, and everything else for my entire family. The selection circulates a bit, however they always have something new and always at great prices.

This is my favorite shoe store ever! It’s like sending a kid into a candy store. I rarely shop in the regular priced section because I find 4 – 5 pair of shoes I want in the clearance section. The shoes are already discounted from the retail price you would pay at another store. I found this out when I bought a pair of Kenneth Cole boots at Macy’s only to find them at DSW on the clearance rack. I wanted to cry. Anyways, I recently went there with a $ 150 giftcard and walked out with 5 pairs of shoes. I did have to add $ 40 of my own money, but where else can you get name brand, quality shoes for that price? One pair of the shoes were Born sandals. Those cost ~$ 100 by themselves anywhere else. If you haven’t been to DSW, you need to go… NOW!!! Don’t forget to sign up for their rewards program, they’ll send you $ 20 coupons!!!
