We have come here for years… But less now. The food and atmosphere are great, but the drinks are inconsistent and the servers spend more time talking to each other or the regulars than asking for your order. It really is a shame when a great place goes downhill because it is poorly managed.

This little hidden gem in Verdi is amazing. Went here Monday for the first time and had the black and bleu burger with sweet potato fries. Pretty much the best burger Ive had in as long as I can remember(especially on parmesan toast). The sweet potato fries were good, but I recommend sticking with the regular fries. I had some food envy.

Great Unilocal Find! A little off the beaten path — but worth finding. We had dinner here with a friend. Ambiance is friendly small town hangout. I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken.(Very Good). My husband had a chicken pasta dish.(okay dish). Our friend had the Rib Eye Steak Sandwich.(I’m so getting this the next time! — it was a thinly sliced(¾ inch) full size Rib Eye Steak on a bun!) Beers were cold and served quickly — very busy somewhat understaffed Pub-Tavern. We waited a bit for food but people watching was good and the food was worth waiting for. We will be back.

Decided to avoid the usual downtown Reno spots this trip and stayed out west. Discovered this place looking for something different and it did not disappoint! Definitely a locals place. I could tell I was the only non local there but I never felt uncomfortable. The wait staff was very friendly and on top of it. I had the prime rib with a salad and sweet potato. The salad was good for a side salad, not the usual«bag of salad». The dressing(Balsamic) was really good. I asked and was told they are made in house. The sweet potatoe was out of of my normal comfort zone but I was pleasantly surprised. It had butter and just a little brown sugar. Definitely worth a try. The prime rib was excellent! Cooked to a perfect medium with very little fat and a nice thick cut. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through, especially if you want to avoid the usual downtown scene. Thank you Sasquatch, I will be back on my next trip.

Wife and I stopped in here while exploring verdi, NV and found it uncrowded, the staff friendly, and the kitchen top-notch. I have a strong desire to come on back and explore the whole menu!

I’m rating this a 5 because it was such a great find heading into Reno. We were hungry we Unilocaled and found the Sasquatch Grill there is no way we would pass this up. I had the fish tacos oh my what a huge proportion very delicious. My husband had the sasquatch burger which was also very tasty. service was excellent very welcoming to two people traveling thru looking for a good meal. Tucked away right off the freeway it was such a great atmosphere it had snowed there was snow on the ground and it was cold but this little warm place good meal good service the restrooms were very clean too that’s a big plus.

What a hidden gem. Prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. I had the jumbalaya and it was more than one person can hanfle. Spicy pasta, tomatoes, bell peppers, chicken, shrimp, and sausage. With garlic bread. They have a full bar and good beers on tap I will be back !

Wow what great food and the wine servings are generous. Have been there many times and keep going back. One of the best places in Reno.

This cozy place is tucked away on a small side road but once you turn off the highway, it’s pretty easy to find. We stopped by on our way home from Reno. I ordered the sandwich and soup lunch special, which was plenty enough to fill me up. The soup was flavorful and fulfilling(forgot what flavor exactly but it was creamy and tomato based). I also enjoyed dipping the sandwich in the soup, since the consistency was relatively thick. The sandwich was nice and crispy on the outside and I enjoyed it as well. My friends ordered the prime dip and they loved it. It was a lot of food but they finished all of it. The service was great. They only had one waitress when we were there, but she was welcoming and attentive the whole time.

We stopped in for breakfast and had the steak and eggs with a side of hash browns. As always tye staff was super friendly and attentive. Our meal was prepared quickly and accurately according to our order. Presentation was adequate. The food was very good as expected. Coffee was good and the complimentary mimosa topped off breakfast nicely. My only criticism was the steak was a little thinner than I prefer and could have been a bit more flavorful but it was tender. Overall a very positive visit.

Stopped here with the family(two boys) on our way to go skiing and found something for everyone. Cozy with a warm fireplace, football on TV, a full bar, and great food. Wings, fish n chips, several salads, salmon, prime rib, sandwiches, etc. Kids menu. Much better than average fish n chips. And I’m picky.

Took the family and had a great dinner. I ordered the Ribeye, my boys had wings and a cheese burger and my wife had Chicken Marsala. Their menu had something for each of us. Stefanie our server was very attentive. Great neighborhood bar and grill.

Easy four stars on this place hands down! Tavern ambiance, great drinks, and food that goes way past your standard bar grub… I had the black and blue burger which was fresh and way above any beef and blue cheese matchup I ever had, and I’ve had more than a few… My wife had a prime rib melt sandwich that was simply to die for… Small but very inviting atmosphere and we met and shared lunch with a new friend on the spot. Great place for a short bike ride(of the Harley-Davidson kind) and fantastic lunch or dinner! We’ll return again and again!

I cannot believe I haven’t written a review for our favorite restaurant in town. My husband and I go here at least twice a month. Great value, quality food, and fun atmosphere. This is a kid friendly biker bar. We’re talking more Wild Hogs then Sons of Anarchy. The menu isn’t huge and we’ve been here enough we’ve probably tried everything. The prime rib meal is huge and can be split. Mom likes the ribeye sammy. Oh and don’t forget to check their specials, sometimes they put really inventive items on the specials board. Check it out!

Located in beautiful downtown verdi, the sasquatch inn is a very quaint little restaurant. We walked in at 9:15 on a sunday morning and there was only one other couple in there. A fire was burnining in the corner fireplace, and the décor is much like a ski lodge. There breakfast menu is not to big, they are only open for breakfast sundays. It was quite refreshing not to fight the crowds and put your name on a wait list. We both ordered omelets as nd they were excellent. A mimosa comes with your breakfast free of charge. So if you want to go somewhere off the beaten path where the food is good and the service is timely, try the sasquatch, it is a bit of a drive but you will not be disappointed

Can’t believe I forgot to write a review for this place! Unilocal helped me find it too! As I was driving into the residential neighborhood I thought the map was taking me to the wrong place but this place is nestled nearby homes. I visited at the end of December with my husband on a Saturday night and they were busy. All the tables were taken but we shared a table with another couple who invited us to sit and share a table with them. They were so friendly, we ended up talking and eating throughout the dinner with them. Food was delicious and tasty, everything was cooked fresh. Even the onion rings were home made. There was a ton of seafood in the pasta too. It’s one of the better meals I’ve enjoyed. Restaurants these days are just ok, but this place has really good food. If I lived nearby, I’d definitely want to try everything on the menu. However I’ll stop here for a bite on my way to Reno next time I’m down

Well I have now found what I would consider the top 2 wing places in Nevada. This place has these Sasquatch sweet and spicy wings that are worth the drive. The sauce on these was so good I almost but my own finger. I’ll be back come rain, hail, sleet or snow. Yum.
