Clark’s Liquor Store

Once again ripped off by the California Street location… Several known cases of their cashiers blatantly shortchanging and being caught in the act.
Then they get hostile with honest customers.
In fact just the other day a close friend was sold a totally dead e-​cigarette and when she brought it back immediately they acted like she wasn’t just in the store and of course were very rude.
This has to stop. I wonder how many other people have similar stories… They are probably under investigation for these egregious «business practices». I certainly hope so. Avoid.

I was passing through town and decided to stop here since it was across the street from an average sushi joint I had never been to. If you’re looking to be harrassed, this is your place with straight-​up-​loser-​homeless-​wannabes who hang outside of this liquor store.
I finished up my transaction earlier than my friends and decided to go out for a smoke outside (I know, cigarettes are disgusting!). Some big and dirty lady came up to me to try to bum a smoke.
«Hey, can I get a smoke?» says wannabe homeless lady with her missing teeth.
«No!» I said quickly and sternly dead smack in her eye.
«Do you have any change?» she persists.
«Hell NO.» I said back.
My other friend comes trailing along outside of the store where she hears the lady throwing a tantrum to the other crack head guy at the corner trying and telling him what I bitch I was for not giving her a cigarette or change. I was like, «whatever», I’m not afraid nor intimidated by your dumb loser ass. Get a job, lady!
Anyway, she continued to throw karate kicks in the distance (swear on my life!) and calling me names while I smirked and ignored her. My point being, I’ve been told this place is known for that. Ha!
