Carl’s Jr.

I just have to say I love the lady that works the drive-​thru usually. She’s so friendly. I stop almost every morning on my way to work and she’s always just so pleasant. I love how she says ‘hey hun’ with a smile. :) It brightens my morning.

Slowest place ever. I knew exactly what I wanted to order but it still took 5 minutes to enter it I to the computer. I was 1 combo meal. Nothing complicated
Also. I have been waiting for 15 minutes and still no food. So much for fast food.
I love Carl’s Jr but this Ventura location sucks huge donkey balls

Whether its dine in or drive through always gotten good service here and never had any problem with the food. Definitely one of the cleanest Karl I’ve been to in a long time, and they always seem to keep the dining area well kept even when it’s busy. Sometimes service can be slow but that appears to be due to being short staffed not that the employees are lazy or something.

Horrible service! Just walked in there yesterday with my family. As we were looking at the menu a lady approached us from the drive thru window I’m guessing (had a headset). As I walked closer to the register she walked away speaking on the headset I guess she got a car. Ok that was rude. So then one of the guys that was wrapping the food in their wrappers NO GLOVES approached the same register… I ordered some nuggets for my kids and as soon as I order that he returned to receiving the food and wrapping it… I mean literally in the middle of taking my order he just walked away, he did not say a word. And I wasn’t done! It took 2 whole minutes for me to just say screw this and left. He never even turned around! This is the worse customer service ever ! I won’t be going in there again.

We came here because the one by house is being remodeled. I got the everything burrito and they put soooo much chunky salsa in it that it overpowered all the other ingredients. We drove through and could barely hear the employee take our order. I understand that it’s a busy street but upgrade the darn speaker. I think Carl’s Jr. is better quality than some of the other fast food choices out there.

Carl’s Jr. is a fast food chain that I’d rate slightly above average. Their burgers are both filling and tasty while not breaking the bank. Their sides are also good, my favorites being crisscut fries and fried zucchini. There are also some good deals you can get there, even without coupons. If you order right here you can spend less than $ 5 per person and everyone will leave happy and full. This particular location has a nice outdoor playground. The location right off the freeway is also very helpful.

I guess I pay for the conveince since i live down the street. But I regret it every time. Employees seem bothered when Ive asked questions like «Do you have a plain burger meal for a child? or Can I have cheddar in the famous star? I understand I might be changing the menu but I ask politely knowing other Carls Jr try to make my order perfect. Plus the kitchen workers never seem to follow food safety cleanliness — no gloves, having loose hair, and cross contamination.

Rude employees and unsanitary spilled my fries all over the counter an then scooped them up and dumped them back into the bag because she was too busy talking about Instagram and picking her nose to get me fresh ones. Not coming back to this Carl’s it is by far the worst Carl’s in Ventura county on top of it they got my order wrong

Went there last night. Asked Sharon for some napkins to dry off the soda that was overflowing the lid after she informed me to be careful because there is soda on the top. It was not just mere drops, it was a pool of soda!!! This is a pet peeve of mine at a drive-​thru when they put too much beverage into the cup and it bubbles over the lid. I always request some napkins and make it a point and dramatic effort to clean the top as the customers behind me will see what is going so they can be aware of what is happening. Even though I was the only car at around 10:15 to 10:30 PM at the drive-​thru, apparently I caused a backup because of my request for some napkins to dry off the top of my drink so I don’t get it all over my car and myself. The «huffing» reaction I got from Sharon almost sent me over the top. When she handed me back my credit card I ripped it from her hand. I got my food and then told her I’m sorry for so inconveniencing her by asking for napkins so that I don’t get the soda all over my car and on me.
I was also just there two nights ago and the young lady who was helping me out was extremely courteous and very professional. What a difference just two days make in how service goes from 5 stars to just one star (if there were negative stars, last night’s visit deserves it). Not only did I get the huff and puff treatment. I was told that I brought all the traffic behind me too. Ummm… what traffic? Three cars at the most. This is NOT all the traffic. Sharon is just not a pleasant person apparently and stresses out too easily. I think she needs to find another line of work or be relegated to janitorial service. By the way, I did NOT appreciate her fingers going into my soft drink as she ripped the lid off to drain the excess soda from my cup. I contacted the corporate office in Carpinteria, CA I don’t expect much and so I need to get the word out at how horrible this particular Carl’s Jr is. You would think with the company headquarters being nearby, that it would have its act together. However, it does not and the local vagrants are treated with more respect and courtesy than paying customers at this restaurant.

Every time i go here i regret it! Crappy food, crappy service. Never fresh, and orders take too long to get. Only thing good about here is its close to my house. Not recommend at all. Rather not eat at all…

Not much to say. Customer service was good. We ate inside. pretty clean but the bathrooms were pretty dirty. I got the chicken and steak street tacos. My friend got the chili cheese fries and a cookies ice-​cream.
Chicken– 3 stars
Steak– 4 stars (5 stars with Salsa added)
Chili fries– 3 stars (chili was not the best)
Ice-​cream– 5 stars

This Carls jr is exactly what a fast food place should be, you order they have what you want, even when it’s busy there’s a minimal wait in the drive thru, and everyone seems happy to actually help, your food is always hot! Not warm but burning Hot, which is how you want your drive through food. Although their fries can never beat Mc Donald’s Carls jr does have the best burgers of all the chain restaurants, plus their chicken tenders are perfect for dipping, never dry, and not too soggy. This particular Carls jr was robbed of such a prestige location it once had across the street from the biggest movie theater in town, and is now across the street from a gym, so this might be hurtful to this particular Carls jr but it is a nice place to come with family and friends if you’re looking to save money from going to a regular restaurant.

Staff was super friendly. Manager was nice. Loved the staff. Food was quick, exactly as ordered and was delicious. Five stars all the way.

Check your takeout order before you leave. My wife ordered a Sourdough Breakfast Sandwich and requested Canadian Bacon on it and got charged for it. She opened up the sandwich at work and only got eggs & cheese, NO CANADIAN BACON, NO MEAT AT ALL! They weren’t busy when we placed the order. Not very good service, very disappointing.

The only Carl’s near the west side of Ventura. Not much to really complain about. They are open ²⁴⁄₇ and are in a good location for this side of Ventura. Haven’t been inside though.

Crappy service. I went there on 05−19−12 at 8:30 through the drive– thru. I only say this because the employees name was not on the receipt and hopefully the manager reads this. The female employee was rude, lacked friendly service and poorly handled stress (which in my opinion there was no stress). And to top off things, got my order of only two items wrong. I’ve been here several times before and service was decent but todays service was anything but that hence the one star rating. With so many other options out there this WILL be my last time here!!!

We had a great experience when hubby and I went before seeing a movie over at the theatre across the way. The cashier was pleasant, food service was quick, everything was clean.
My only rub was that the food was put together poorly. I had mayo on everything BUT my sandwich bun… wtf? It was all over the wrapper (on the outside). The lettuc was ¹⁄₃ of the way out of the sandwich.
I envisioned that the prepper in back was throwing the condiments and there was another person catching them with the sandwich, and it made me laugh. I felt better after that :)
Place definitely doesn’t deserve 1 star, but maybe I came on a good day.

What a disappointment. I know this is a fast food place, but come on! The soda bar was covered in trash. The counter help treated me like I interrupted her busy schedule of sucking lemons, judging by her puckered expression. Clearly my choosing to sit outside rather than in the freezing AC was done to deliberately inconvenience the staff, as evidenced by the heavy sigh and tossing of my tray onto my table with a grunt. Sorry you had to walk the extra four steps. Oh my god!
The outside dining area had obviously not been cleaned in at least several DAYS, as there was accumulated leaves, dirt and trash in every corner.
