I was introduced to Dr Storm-​Dickerson in January 2009. During a routine mammogram a small lump was detected and it needed removal. It was then determined that I had breast cancer. While I had never been diagnosed with any life threatening disease, there is no one I would have preferred to be on my team. She helped me through this journey and so much more. I am now cancer free, and healing physically, emotionally and spiritually. She is simply one of the BEST that this area has to offer.

No one wants to have surgery, but if you have to, as 2 people in my family recently did, you will find a gem in Dr. Storm-​Dickerson. Her upbeat «bedside» manner is matched perfectly with her thoughtful surgical skills.
I needed to have a walnut sized tissue sample removed from my breast. I was nervous about surgery due to a bad experience in my past, she was unbelievably patient and went out of her way to address all of my concerns and make it as stress-​free as surgery can be.
She also took a complete aesthetic approach to the surgery. (Not all surgeons do this as attested by others that had similar surgeries) A woman can be left with a visible scar, and a divot where the tissue was removed but with her approach, there is no visible indicator whatsoever. I have to point out to the techs when I get my mammograms that I had surgery there, and they are always amazed how perfect it looks.
When my son was diagnosed with a hernia. I knew exactly who I wanted to perform the repair. He has white coat syndrome and was extremely nervous, so he too was in need of a patient, understanding, upbeat Dr. and she again went above and beyond. Thanks to her, he sailed through.
If I have to have surgery in the future, and she performs it in her «general surgery» realm, she will be my ONLY choice.
