I went in the middle of the day and the store was empty. First bad sign. Then I asked the girl at the counter about getting lenses put into a pair of glasses I owned. She took the glasses and my Rx, and barely glancing at them both informed me that they were not responsible for breaking the glasses to get the old lenses out. Not that it «may» happen and was a «rare» occurrence. Nope, she made sure I knew it was probably going to happen. What luck for them… I just happen to be inside an eye shop and could immediately purchase a new pair from them!!! Wow, really? Does anyone not see through this? She also informed that, although I have a major carrier to bill for my eyewear, they didn’t actually bill «that» one.
What a joke. I ran from the store and would never return to this place again. I took my glasses back to my regular optometrist who said «no problem» with getting the old lenses out. After all, isn’t that what they do at the lab… ALL DAY LONG?
