Great alternative to the venerable Taco Bell. Like the name implies, this is more«fresh» than say Taco Bell. It is a cut above drive through fast food and great for the quickie lunch or dinner on go. This one is cleaner and nicer than others I have been in.

I love Baja Fresh but this particular location is awful. The food is simply not same quality like the highway 99 location, and neither is customer service. Tables and floors are always dirty and sticky, and I had stomach issues twice after eating here, second time being my last one. Too bad because I love Baja, but this location is badly managed.

This place used to be fresh about a year or so ago. Recently everything has really gone downhill. The jalapeños are no longer fresh, instead they are the pickled ones from the can. The guacamole is brown and you can smell the restrooms from the soda station. To top it off the food is sloppy now. Truly a disgusting experience.

I tried Baja for the first time a couple months ago. It was so good that I have gone back 3 times. First off, I love their mango salsa! So delicious! I get their chicken fajitas and add steak which ends up being about $ 10. It comes with guacamole, sour cream, rice, beans and chips. The portions are large enough for me to have it for two meals so it’s a great deal! Plus they send coupons in the mail every couple weeks for $ 2 – 5 off. The food taste fresh. This location is very clean and hasn’t been busy every time I’ve been there so it takes less than 10 minutes to get your food. I definitely recommend Baja if you are looking for something fast and healthy!

It’s Baja Fresh. It’s a chain store. But the food is freshly made, taking about 10 minutes. It’s reasonably priced, the food is tasty, nothing special, but good.

You can’t go wrong with fish tacos. Very clean establishment, love the salsa bar. Really not a bad thing to say about this place. Except the woman at the counter who helped me could have spoken a bit slower. She was talking so fast responding to my questions I could barely make out what she was saying. All in all I will definitely be back!

Good food. Prices are higher than other Mexican food dives but definitely not outrageous. It’s not a bad choice for food but lacks personality.

I like to come here when I want fish tacos. They have a great crispy Wahoo Fish Taco and they also have great quesadillas. Normally I prefer eating at Chipotle but they don’t offer either of those options on the menu. Anyway, this location is clean and the people running it have owned it for as long as I have lived in Vancouver. The people are always friendly that work there. Went there last night with husband for a quick to go meal. Husband got the steak quesadilla and a side of rice. I got the crispy fish tacos(try them, they come wrapped in a corn tortilla with cabbage, pico, and spicy cream sauce) and a side of smoky queso with chips. The queso is just okay. My only complaint is that it tends to solidify as it comes to room temp. Kinda gross but what can you expect from canned queso? While we waited they offered us free chips. They are also generous with the chips they sent with us to eat the queso with. I tend to stay away from their salsa bar. Never have had a bag experience here. Keep up the great work!

Closing 25 minutes early on a Thursday night is not okay to me. I confirm the hours by looking on the door and everything is locked, while the employees are standing on the cooking services cleaning the vents. I’ve always been a fan of Baja Fresh, but this experience irked me a bit and I’m not sure if/when I’ll try it again. Not sure if I believe in supporting a franchise that closes early with no signage or prior notice. This review is not to imply anything negative about the food as I’ve always enjoyed Baja Fresh’s level of flavor and taste. As for service, I’m not sure is tonight was a management decision or if people just made an independent choice to go home early, but not a consistent experience a franchise wants to give to supportive customers I’m sure. Hopefully other Unilocalers have a good experience here, I wouldn’t count on them being open within 30-minutes of their scheduled time though. Best of luck!

My experience /review on Baja Fresh is based from the catering options they provide to customers. I’ve ordered and had delivered various party platters and specialty items but the one I item I keep coming back for is the Fajita Party Platter which serves«The works.» It includes choice of meats, chicken/steak, pinto or black beans, Spanish rice, flour and or corn tortilla, a wonderful salad and a sample of different dressings, a medley of different salsas, guacamole and chips, paper plates, napkins, plastic wear, all for under $ 100.00! For what you get, you can easily feed a party of 12 – 15 people. The portions are GENEROUS. The manager at this location is extremely helpful in helping you plan which food items will pair well based on your party size and special occasion. I’ve had them cater my special events about a handful of times in the past year or so and I am always pleased with the quality of food and service I receive from Baja Fresh. Highly recommend.

We used to love Baja Fresh, but they’ve taken a downward turn lately. Yesterday, we stopped in for lunch, ordered the 2 fish tacos plate & an order of no-meat nachos. When called to pickup, they gave us 3 fish tacos plate & an order of nachos with chicken & very little cheese… none of the cheese was even melted & the dish only slightly warm. Yuck. We’ll go across the street to the Cathedral and have a pleasant experience next time we want tacos for lunch!

Food overpriced, charged me for sour cream when burrito already came with it, didn’t clearly explain what came with enchilada upsale, prices weren’t accurately reflected. Sorry no good part except that the employee did politely over charge me.

Great service. Great food but the prices need a little reworking. I really like the one in Hazel Dell. Over all Baja gets the job done. Always recommended. Stay fresh.

I love Baja Fresh. They make the best Guacamole and if you order the baja-style burrito, you get the guac inside! Or order a side of pronto guac. Both good.

I love Baja Fresh and have for a good long time. Specifically I love the one near Target on Millplain. The restaurant is ALWAYS clean. The food is consistently delicious! This is my go to dinner date with my younger daughter. I love the fresh chips and salsa bar. My kids stick with the mild and I can have super spicy! I love their tortilla soup, and my kids love the nachos(not just chips and cheese, there’s meat, beans, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, etc). I like to try different things and I enjoy everything I’ve tried there. The staff make it a very family friendly place. Yum! Writing this review kinda makes me think we should have Baja Fresh for dinner tonight!

1÷18÷12 Consistent fresh and tasty. The only thing that I hope these guys would do is to keep the focus on the food and quit patting themselves on the back for being so environmentally conscious. I am happy for them and proud of them that they want to feel good about themselves about how they’re so pure and in business to take care of mother earth but people go out to eat for the food, not for the statement that the establishment wants to make about how they are just great citizens for being green. I love their food and could give a crap about how biodegradable their plates are. If you want good, fresh Mex, this is the place. – especially now that we don’t have a Chevy’s anymore.

Every time I go here the food is always tasty and the service is good. The salsa station is always kept clean. It is in the same parking lot as Target and some other stores, so after you eat you can walk through the shops afterward. It has a nice outdoor eating area with a fountain as well.

Some days are better than others. Shrimp anything is usually good optin. Steak is a hit or miss — depends on the day(I actualy think when the boss is around, the food tastes better).

I was searching Vancouver for a good take out fish taco. So far Baja Fresh is my pick. The fish is a grilled piece of firm white fish(I’m not sure what kind of fish it is), and it has great flavor! The fish taco comes with cabbage which I prefer on a fish taco, and it’s a nice size. You can’t beat Baja Fresh’s salsa bar! The staff at this location are very friendly, and accommodating. This particular location is very clean, and there’s a large outdoor seating area with a lovely fountain. I should also mention that my coworkers and I have had them deliver meals to us. Their customer service is fantastic. They have never let us down, they have been able to deliver large orders under pretty limited time restrictions. The food is always fresh and delicious!

This baja fresh is very inconsistent with food quality and portion size. I find the tomatoes are always over ripe borderline bad. The mild salsa(fresh tomato, cilantro, onion) suffers because of this. On a good day, a baja taco is delicious with enough meat. On most days, there is very little meat in the tacos. As for healthy, I think not. All of the burritos are over 1000 calories each. Check out their menu for similar stats on other items. That is all baja fresh stores. If you are craving Baja Fresh, go to a different one. If you want healthy mexican? Got to Chipotle across the street
