BY FAR the BEST BBQ In town! The place has great portion sizes, the meat falls off the bone, the molasse beans are AMAZING! The people leaving bad comments on here obviously have bad taste in food. only down fall is when we want to pick up for dinner sometimes hes closed because he ran out of smoked meat.

Best lunch I’ve ever had on the side of the road. My hubby and I had combo plates and it is more meat than either of us could handle without unbuttoning our pants! Owner is super nice. Loved the sweet BBQ sauce

My husband and I had high hopes for this place seeing as its a stand along little place and we’ve smelled the wood before driving by. Unfortunately it was disgusting, I make better smoked. ribs and chicken etc on my gas grill with hickory bags from.home.depot. sadly too, the sides were obviously made days in advance and left in a crock pot. I can understand how people with less. advanced palates may enjoy this food, however, if this is true, I should. open
I’d blow this guy out of the water. Sorry, but we won’t be back for the smoked meat that was then left to steam for hours. Not BBQ.

I hate BBQ sauce. But wow this was really good. I wasn’t impressed with the rest though. No flavor to the beans and rice.disappointed.

Stopped in today for the first time. I drive by every day as they are firing things up and kept meaning to stop by because it smells so good.
First, this is the equivalent of a food truck as it is a little building tucked up against the side of a shell station. Their smoker is on a trailer off to the side and bathes the area in the pleasant smell of wood burning and meat smoking. Choices include ribs, brisket, chicken, pulled pork, and hot links. Sauce comes in spicy, medium, or sweet.
I chose the 3 meat sampler with brisket, ribs, and pulled pork with the medium sauce. The meat was smoky and tender while the sauce was tangy with a pleasant heat.
This is a great local place, well worth the stop. It may not be able to match up to Texas bbq but outside of the South, good bbq is hard to find and this place is excellent! I’ll definitely be back.

OMG! This place is absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I come here for the brisket sandwich. There is sooo much flavor in the brisket, it just makes my mouth water thinking about it. You can tell they take pride in their food. Don’t pass this place up!

Stopped in to try some more BBQ goodness. Another fantastic meal. I’m upgrading this to 5 star. The meat and sauce is loaded with flavor. Best farmers slaw I’ve had. Owner is a cool guy. List goes on. I really appreciate places like this around here as good food places like this are few and far between in this area. I love to support the local guy who puts his passion in his business. Everyone should stop and show this guy some love and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!
