I went to see Dr. Kotzen for some foot pain. He was very thorough, very informative and patient. He examined me and explained what was going on with me and what we need to do. He seemed very knowledgeable and educated. I will definitely be back to see him for any further issues.

From the first call I made, to the next day consultation — these girls were awesome, so upbeat and happy.

It would be hard to find a doctor that is more professional and pleasant. He is knowledgeable and calmly reassuring which is exactly what you need when you’re in pain or worried.
I highly recommend Dr Kotzen. He was also very helpful to my dad who was an elderly diabetic. My dad was very impressed with the care he received.

He is not just a great doctor but also a kind human being. I came to him 2 years and and got my ingrown toe nail fixed and hairline fractured my ankle last week and came here and he gave me the same day appointment as he is very busy but still took me in. Even though i don’t have insurance he took a good care of me.

I came in very nervous for a ingrown toenail and wow was I wrong! First of all his staff was super nice! Sweet, caring and down to earth they both made me feel very comfortable. The DR was gentle, fast and also very nice. My situation was fixed in about ten minutes and I didn’t feel a thing! I’m so glad I found his office on Unilocal,I’ll be recommending him to everyone I know. Thanks again Dr.

Dr. Kotzen and everyone in the office are friendly, so personable and made me feel right at home there! I dreaded going as I had a bad experience years ago with another podiatrist, but finally gave in to the pain! Dr. Kotzen explained everything to me and, best of all, he can help me. (smile)

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! … Dr. Kotzen is the NICEST, most personable Dr. there is. I’ve been going to him for years — he did my foot surgery when I broke it and everything was done at the highest standards. And Cyndi — words cannot describe how caring and professional she is. I look forward to going to the foot dr. As a matter of fact, my insurance was switched … but I switched it BACK because I now need surgery on my other foot and refuse to have any other foot surgeon do it!!! Love you guys! Debbie G

Super friendly office staff. I was able to get same day appointment with reasonable cash prices! Dr. Kotzen was very friendly and very informative about the procedure he was going to preform. Dr. Kotzen and his staff are remarkable!!! I have had both of my bunion surgeries here and I wouldnt trust anyone to touch my feet but this doctor. He is extremely caring and knows what he is doing!
He really cares for his patients and there well being. The place is so professional and he has grown into a larger office since i started seeing him. I am not surprised. Its VERY hard to find good doctors these days, but Dr. Kotzen is beyond exceptional. I would refer anyone I know that is having foot issues to him. You are in Good Hands!!!
Also the receptionist Cindy is amazing too! She really cares for the patients and you can tell loves her job! After my surgery, she called the first week everyday to check on me. Who does that? She has an amazing personality and energy as well.

Best Foot Doctor EVER!!!

I found Dr Kotzen through my health insurance. I am a runner. About 2 years ago I started to have a lot of pain in my feet, specially in the right foot. When I went to my primary doctor, he referred me to podiatrist and gave me the contact info of a few doctors. The first office I visited was very impersonal. I decided to go to Dr Kotzen.
First, when I arrived the staff was very friendly, no waiting.
The doctor took an x-​ray and told me I had a bunions and he suggested surgery. I agreed and last year, in March, I had surgery on my right foot. Many people tried to talk me out of it, telling me how painful it would be afterwards. Also telling me how difficult my recovery would be for several months. Regardless, I scheduled my appointment and was very happy I did so. The surgery went well and, as early as June, I started jogging again.
A few months later, I decided to remove the bunion in my other foot. My surgery was on January 16, 2014. I arrived in Encino Plaza Surgery Center at 8 am and was home by noon.
The doctor called me every day after the surgery to make sure I was feeling well.
After surgery I had some pain in my foot, which was absolutely normal after such a procedure. I followed all Dr Kotzen’s recommendations, and now I feel great. I can’t wait to start running again. I don’t have any pain or discomfort in either of my feet. I am very happy I chose Dr Kotzen, and how professional and concerned he is.
His staff is very professional too. No waiting, they always call and remind me about my appointments. Sindy and Wendy (receptionists) are always so friendly and accommodating.
If you are looking for THE BEST podiatrist, and want a speedy recovery, I would definitely recommend Dr Kotzen and his office.

This Doctor is so nice!
I have been to him several times cause i got a ingrown toenail. =o (
But Dr. Kotzen is very nice to me and everyone else that i have noticed.
The waits are usually very short! =o)
And he is as gentle as possible.
And he lets you know everything that he is going to do and what to expect before he does so there no surprises.
Plus he is like so attractive!
That helps so yeah hehe.

Excellent doctor and speaks Spanish. Very friendly
