Dr Baravarian was a referral from a friend who also had bunion surgery with him. He is knowledgeable, respectful and very professional. He tells it like it is and his staff is great. I had bunion surgery almost 8 weeks ago and I am healing great. I would highly recommend him to anyone that asks. Thank you for your great work and staff!!!

I can’t say enough about how professional and capable and kind the staff is. I was in pain from damage to my foot from a previous bone break that was not properly taken care of by another Doctor. Dr. B ran the appropriate tests and then performed surgery, all in a timely manner. I am no longer in constant pain and have not felt any pain since the surgery. Highly recommend them!

Very disappointed in Dr. Baravarian and his financial staff was nasty.

I am very disappointed in Dr. Baravarian and his financial staff. I went to him for my bunion, which wasn’t too severe. He suggested surgery to remove the bunion by putting one pin [which turned out to be two long screws, after seeing the X-​rays].
The financial person told me that my financial responsibility would be $ 500 total but after paying the $ 500 on the morning of the surgery, they kept billing us for some other two amounts. When I called and questioned her, her response was a nasty «I never told you it would be $ 500».
After a long and difficult recovery, I started to have cracking noise coming from toe when I walked. I went in to see Dr. Baravarian. He looked at my toe and asked me to walk a couple of steps and his diagnosis was «you have arthritis in your big toe». That is an inappropriate answer to give a patient you just did surgery on. So, I guess arthritis means that my body is causing the problem! And no obvious solution! I would not recommend Dr. Baravarian or their office. If you are compelled to go to him, have everything in writing before you make your decision.

I see Dr. Bob in Sherman Oaks. If it wasn’t for him I really wouldn’t be able to walk. I have bad arthritis in my ankles and feet. I have seen several doctors regarding my problems but NO ONE was able to help me or understand how to help me or have the knowledge of how to help me. Dr. Bob is intelligent, calm, and funny. He makes sure you understand what he’s going to do before surgery and what’s going to happen after surgery. If he see’s you feel anxious or nervous he takes the time to calm you down. Bottom Line after he listens to you regarding your ailment and after thoroughly examining you he knows exactly what you need and what to do. If you gives you some cork lifts or a boot or something else it is for your health and he always knows exactly what he’s doing. He’s honest and very intelligent. He’s an amazing surgeon my ankles are attached and I am able to walk. He’s had to do numerous surgeries on my feet because of all my problems. I trust him and highly recommend him. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I received great service from the staff, and the surgery was very convenient and professional. Dr Bob (Baravian) did an amazing job repairing my ankle. I am active, pain-​free, and able to enjoy my shoe collection again … Dr Bob has me in heels again, comfortably!

Very professional and wasted no time in getting all the tests I needed and the diagnosis that was required. Scheduled me for a surgery that I really needed and took great care of me.

I’m an R. A patient and I was 24 yrs old when I was diagnosed so I developed feet deformities due to my illness. the joint damage was so severe that I could no longer wear normal shoes all I was able to wear was a lousy pair of stretchy sandals and the pain was unbearable, I hated to walk. I found Dr. Baravarian in the internet and made an appointment a few weeks later.
After Dr. Baravarian examined my feet he explained to me that because I waited so long to have this problem fixed, he had to perform bone fusion and remove some severally damage joints.
I had enough with this problem so I decided to go for it .
He performed surgery on both my feet, one at a time. I do have to say the healing process was a little lengthily but it’s one of the best decisions I have ever made. I’m just thrilled with the great results .
Thanks to Dr. Baravarian (one of the best doctors I have encountered, not to mention a good and compassionate human being) and his great staff I can walk pain free and finally wear cute shoes again.

Dr. Barvarian seems like he knows what he is doing. He gave me a couple of suggestions in regards to my feet. I can say they are helping some. He suggested to add lifts to my shoes. He gave me two lifts that are made out of cork. They did not work. He billed my insurance $ 395.00 for something that does not cost more than a dollar. Are you kidding me.
