I bought a pair of curtains for one of my offices/​guest rooms and had to add some shirts just for free shipping. We came to this location to return the shirts since it’s close by. The guys manning the registers at the men’s dept were very nice and greeted everyone with a smile. While I was totally miserable and could barely breathe in there. It’s not well ventilated and it smells horrible. It’s also really hot inside! We weren’t there for very long, prob 10 minutes the most. It’s annoying/​ridiculous, that there’s a different area for returns, for items purchased online. That’s 2 lines I had to wait on especially in that nasty basement! I feel bad for everyone who works there. Thank goodness I don’t ever have to go back…

I was here today with my family shopping for holloween and a wedding. Once we picked the outfits we wanted we waiting online to purchase the items. First there was only 2 cash registers open and the line was quite long. One thing i’ll give them us we didnt wait long, but the attitudes they both had were unacceptable. First we witnessed them refusing to help an older woman understand the pricing of a sale and were very rude in doing so. Then with us the lady would suck her teeth while trying to explain we had to sign the keypad and rushing us as we just eanted to confirm the pricing. The way they speak to people is very rude and does not make me or my family eant to come back. Well just go to macys or the other jcpenny in queens. We also spoke to the manager who dod show interest but i doubt that the cashiers will change their way of working without discipline.

I only come here because it’s convenient. Visited at night on 10⁄27 and it felt like a sweatbox. I only went to make a return but I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Not good if you want your customers to stay and shop. I was sweating like crazy and wasn’t even wearing a jacket! Exiting into the mall was such a relief. On the flipside, if you’re looking for a free sauna… this is your place.
