Wilsons Leather Outlet

I’ve bought some really nice things here and the prices are great. I don’t really believe their «before/​regular» prices on most things (I doubt that jacket was ever sold at $ 600), but the sale prices are fair. There is a nice selection, especially if you want something other than basic black.

4 lost purchases. 3 visits. 2 words: Incompetent manager. 1 less customer.
I really loved coming here over the years, unfortunately I never realized until now how much customer service actually matters.
I came here at least 7 times within the past couple months and purchased 4 jackets and 2 purses — and was going to purchase another 4 jackets on different occasions with this manager. The «going to» being the key. I’d never met someone so condescending and rude in a position of customer service and much less — in a managerial position. No one had ever spoken to me so condescendingly, I felt like I should remind her that I’m not a child or something.
It was infuriating but I maintained my composure and simply decided to leave the items at the register, tell her I’d return at a different time, and walk out. To this she replied that she would still be there the next time and I’d have to deal with her. FANTASTIC. This is when I decided to simply not return and leave this review advising others of the «fun» that awaits at this shop.
But it’s ok, there are plenty of other shops that welcome Military members with open arms. This manager couldn’t care less so Wilsons you will be missed.

The salespeople here very pushy and pressure you to make a purchase. Don’t be afraid to tell them off, though! I always come here and look for wallets because they have the design and size I like. They’re almost always having some sort of sale, so make sure you get that sale price. «Retail» price for everything in there is way too high.

The selection is alright. Latest fashions and what not. They also have a lot of great sales around various holidays. I’d give this place more than 2 stars, however the rude manager that is demeaning to her customers and staff made me drop their rating down a few notches. I had a handful of items to purchase that I actually loved. I put them all back and walked out as soon as I realized what kind of horrible person works there. I’d rather pay more and buy from a store where people are treated with respect.

When I initially called to get directions, the sales associate was very patient and helpful. I haven’t been to a Wilsons in a long time, considering the two that I live close to in Sacramento closed. The sales associate was helpful again while I was in the store shopping. I found a nice credit card holder that was on sale and I was a happy camper. Thanks, Wilsons!

Take a deep breath, smell that?
That’s the smell of a store FULL of genuine leather which if one hasn’t had the pleasure of partaking smells somewhat sweet to me.
Wilson’s and I have a long-​standing relationship in that I’ve been getting goods from here since I was about 12 with my first bomber jacket. Some may look at Wilson’s as poor man’s leather but I beg to differ especially in this outlet location.
They cater to each and every person with hundreds of styles, shapes and sizes whether it be jackets, vests, bags, shoes, wallets, etc. I’d say the only thing that loses them a star are the staff being indifferent most of the time but that’s just a drop in the bucket for me.
Give them a try :)

I’ve gone into Wilson’s once in a while. I usually leave disappointed…
But coming here with an elite shopping crew, I grew to appreciate what Wilson’s can offer…
The crew was just GLOWING with the deals they were getting here. Good leather products AND at an outlet AND on sale! Truly an elite shopper’s paradise.
I didn’t get anything, but I thought some of their jackets were pretty cool. I saw this really cool white-​leather jacket that would look extremely hot on a particular someone I was thinking about at the time…
Not quite the leather goods I was thinking about… But definitely a good shop to go to.
