Been to this location twice and neither time was it anything worth going to. The noodle dishes were both bland. There is plenty of variety but I’d rather have a place create a few amazing dishes, than a bunch of dishes that are simply mediocre.

First time to a Noodles & Company. My Whole Grain Tuscan Fresca and Fiancés Spaghetti w/meatballs were pretty damn good! Well priced and friendly service. Kids meals reasonably priced too. Will be back for sure.

Just when I started to really like this place, I have unexpectedly been greatly disappointed. I was here just a few days ago and ordered the pad Thai which on that day(Sunday during lunchtime) it was great. This time… Wednesday(may 18th) 7:30pm… Holy hell. I really wish I hadn’t ordered it to go so I could have promptly taken it back up to them. The pad Thai sauce is non existent tonight. The eggs aren’t done right. They’re nothing but disturbing little bites of something that resembles a nasty little onion filled omelet. Disgusting. And not edible. The whole dish has a really gross overwhelming onion taste and the weird thing is that this dish isn’t even supposed to include onions. I don’t know what the hell they made me tonight but it tastes like a cruel joke. I’m pregnant and starving and now I’m angry. This was my new go to spot and now I don’t know how to approach the place due to this extreme level of inconsistency. Bummed out to say the least. This meal is garbage.

This place is kinda weird sometimes & a hit & miss with the counter service. The garlic cheesy bread was over priced, not garlicky,& just that… cheezie. The food is OK but not a lot of bang for your buck. Fast food atmosphere. The last time I went there the first counter guy was making fun of me, then walked off when I told him that wasn’t the young lady took over & was very nice but I really didn’t like the first distraction. Went there for someone else but not likely to go back soon.

The person at the cash register when I went, had my order wrong. So he was kind enough to give me a full refund for my food but when I got my food most of the ingredients were half cooked or not cooked at all. And, overall their food is not that good & not even worth the money you pay for! Don’t recommend this place to anyone.

The food is good, but I’m very disappointed about their customer service. The hostess Angelica not seem enthusiastic at all while taking my order. She responded very rudely while smacking her gum at me after I ordered. This employee gave off a vibe that she clearly did not want to be here and take my order.

Subpar in the Vacaville strip mall. I adore noodles and company because they offer some great dinner/lunch alternatives. Ideally, a good Bangkok curry can set the world In the right direction. The issues with this location is certainly quality of staff and cleanliness overall. The tables always look rough, the drink station is never attended to and when our food came the young lady working told me I order something I did. She was nice enough about it, but trust me… I’ve ordered this same order at every N &C I’ve ever been to. Keep being mediocre Vacaville location.

After neglecting to try this place for a long time, we finally decided to give their food a shot. We came in around 8 last night, an hour before they closed, so I was expecting okay-ish food. I already knew that I wanted to order the mac and cheese since I have heard a lot of good things about it. My boyfriend chose the penne rosa with parmesan chicken, and both of us chose the small portion. We also ordered side soups — chicken noodle and tomato basil. After placing the order, the total came out to be around $ 16, which was not bad at all, as it is usually $ 20+ for the both of us at other places. We sat down and I found that the place can be rather comforting. I don’t know how it is on busier days, but I liked how we could actually hear ourselves talk and not feel out of place the entire time. The food came in about 10 minutes, and I was actually surprised at how quick the service was. The server dropped off our food and I kinda stared at my bowl thinking that they accidentally gave me the wrong size. The small portion filled up half the bowl — it was a lot — and it made me wonder how big the regular size was. I thought the small size would fill the bowl the side soup came in. Anyway, the noodles were coated in a sauce-like cheese, which is typically how I like it. It wasn’t too thin, but it wasn’t too thick either. It was also topped with more shredded cheese. I had a lot of high hopes for it, considering the portion size and the consistency, and I ended up really enjoying it. It made me hate the mac and cheese that I usually eat. I found that it had a lot of flavor and the noodles weren’t mushy. So, everything about it met my preferences. However, I also found that it had a similar taste to box mac and cheese, it just offered a more homemade feel. As for the soups, the chicken noodle was ordinary. I really liked the broth because it wasn’t extremely salty, but it tasted exactly like my mom’s chicken noodle soup or any other soup, really. It was really hot, though, so it complimented a somewhat cold night pretty well. I think I liked the tomato basil a bit more. I’ve never had some sort of tomato soup, but I felt that it would go great with a grilled cheese. The soup had a spaghetti sauce taste, but it wasn’t a mouthful of tomato juice. I felt that there was an even amount of tomato and basil flavors. I enjoyed the penne rosa as well but I wasn’t a fan of the chicken all that much. It was a little bit on the mushy side and it seemed like there were only a few pieces. I liked the parmesan flavor, however, and my boyfriend believes it would go well with the mac and cheese. Overall, we were pretty impressed and will definitely go back to try more items on their menu. It’s fairly priced for the portions and I definitely felt welcome in the restaurant.

I wanted to like this place. When I walked in it seemed clean, but really empty for a Sunday at dinner time. They have different noodles from different culinary styles. I ordered mine to go as the staff talked more to each other about football than to guests. I got my food and got home. I literally don’t understand how pad thai can taste like nothing. I had to heavily salt it, douse it in lime and put my own peanuts on time to get a hint of what paid thai should taste like. I also love paying $ 3 for three tiny pieces of shrimp in this monstrosity. The Japanes pan noodles were okay, but the flavors are equally subtle. Two stars for the cleanliness and atmosphere, zero stars for the food. Bleh.

Not sure if this is a strange coincidence, but both times I’ve been here there has been a parent rushing a vomiting child to the restroom. That’s enough to not allow me to return. Side issues: 1) restrooms have no toilet seat protectors 2) soap dispenser missing 3) music both times so loud can’t have a conversation

Ever since I found out about this place and their various types of noodles, I had been dying to try it! I finally got to come here the other night and was quite impressed! The inside of the restaurant is a lot nicer than I expected for a «fast food» style place. They ever had instructions on how to order as you walk in, and advise not to tip! Cha-ching! Money staying in my pocket and delicious noodles into my stomach! I’m a pretty big fan of pad thai and spicy peanut butter flavors, so took a little while to decide what I wanted to order. I asked the girl working at the counter what I should order, and she recommended the Indonesian Peanut Sauté with grilled chicken. I was not dissapointed! Not only was the meal delicious, but the portion was so big that I got to eat the leftovers next day for lunch! Leftovers of delicious food have to be one of my favorite things ever! I also got to try the garlic bread, mac and cheese, and had a side salad with miso dressing. I will definitely be returning here to try everything!

I came here to eat lunch the other day with my family. Honestly, everything was just sort of okay. The woman at the counter was nice, but didn’t seem to have much knowledge of ingredients and there was no one there who she could find who really did. The restaurant could be cleaner. We sat at our table and the booth had crumbs everywhere. I went to eat my food and there was gunk on my fork which was kind of gross. Whatever, I got over it. I really like the concept of building your own entrees with different types of noodles and meat etc. I ordered the«Wisconsin Mac & Cheese» with parmesan crusted chicken breast. I thought my food was okay. I was super hungry, so I pretty much ate all of it. Honestly though, the mac & cheese did not taste much better than store-bought mac & cheese. The parmesan crusted chicken breast was okay. Overall, it was meh… okay. I probably won’t be back unless one of my friends or family members wants to go and it is convenient.

Fast food + Noodles = Fast foodles(‘And that’s exactly what it is!) Store front — The ordering process is very reminiscent of the Pei Wei Asian Diner chain, a PF Chang’s Bistro subsidiary. The 4 Step Ordering Process — Step 1 — Choose entrée Step 2 — Select size(Reg or small) Step 3 — Add meat or tofu Step 4 — Add side, salad or more veggies Patio seating — It can feel a bit odd @ first, much like a noodle dish, assembly line. Admittedly, like a number of fellow Unilocal*ers have already mentioned, the ordering process is a bit disconcerting especially for first timers. However, the giant menu board with pictures, names, and descriptions is very helpful. Menu board — As I stood there, trying to figure out the ordering process not to mention what to order, I was greeted by Dennis, Shift Manager. He made my first visit a bit less stressful and was a huge help in explaining everything to me. Dennis also helped me narrow down my choices… ‘And there are quite a few. — «Mahalo for the aloha bruddah!» Dennis —
The order: Indonesian Peanut Sauté — Spicy peanut sauce, rice noodle stir-fry, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, Asian sprouts, cilantro, crushed peanuts, and lime($ 5.89) With added chicken — 7 bite size pieces($ 2.59) The dish was flavorful, fresh, and not too heavy. However, I have to add that the extra chicken I added for $ 2.59, was a mere 7 «fun size» nuggets. — «Well, that was somewhat disappointing, I paid how much for this…(Smirk) ‘Could’ve definitely used more chicken.» Photo — Thai Curry Soup — Yellow coconut curry broth, spinach, napa/red cabbage, mushrooms, tomato, red onion, cilantro, and rice noodles(Side — $ 1.25) The Thai Curry soup was tasty, very fresh, and like the Indonesian Peanut Sauté, not too heavy as well. Dennis highly recommended that I try the soup and I was not disappointed. It’s hard to believe I’ve been back in California over three years now, having left Boulder, Co behind. I used to frequent the Noodles & Company on Baseline Rd and it was always fantastic. Napa lacks restaurants in between the yucky fast food and expensive $ 50 or more per person establishment. I was thrilled to discover this N&C on a recent trip back from Sacramento. A small issue with my order was quickly rectified by the Manager and I was on my way. The food was as wonderful as I remembered. I would definitely stop in again when I’m in the area.

This place looks good for one of those days when you want a bowl of noodles. Not necessarily the best quality noodles. But noodles. Multiple pictures on a gigantic menu behind the counter aid in the selection of which noodle choice you make. Without a clue, I asked an employee and he recommended a dish. It was okay. If you’re looking for«okay,» this is your place. On the plus side, I was so hungry I finished my medium size dish. Another plus: they have one of those«select whichever one of 2 dozen sodas and add flavor to it» machines. Most likely not going to return if I desire noodles. May return if I don’t feel like having anything else I can get around it.

What’s better than noodles with some company? Nothing. Just as the name suggests this place will serve you a plethora of noodles with various companions. The hardest part is making those choices! My choice, however, was pretty easy since I knew I liked the mac and cheese. I decided to have it topped with steak because that just sounded good. It was! The cheese is nice, melty, and stringy with a good flavor. The steak added a little something extra to the mix. The small is still a hearty portion and I couldn’t finish it all! I’ve enjoyed this chain before and I would definitely return again. I was bummed to see that the cheeseburger mac and cheese is no longer on the menu. That was my favorite menu item!

This is a great spot when you are looking for protein and carbs. I was in town for an ice hockey tournament and needed some good eats in between games. We drove past this headed to a different spot and I yelled for the wife to pull over at Noodles and Company. We have enjoyed dining at other locations and decided this would be a great option. I went for the Pad Thai and added chicken. We took it to go and they packed it up quite well. Utensils and napkins and individual containers for everything. When we went back to the hotel I was delighted to see everything traveled well. The pad thai had delicious flavor. It was exactly what I was searching for — protein and carbs in balance. I will remember this location as it definitely was a high quality /healthier alternative to some of the faster service options in the area.

Noodles and Company is in a strip mall at Nut Tree along with many other eateries. For our family of 4, it’s perfect as we can each eat what we want. Son and I opted for Noodles and Company, wife and daughter for the pizza joint. Restaurant(and restroom) was clean and the service was very good. Noodles and Company is all about noodles. They can make it American, Thai, Italian, etc. with different toppings. I opted for the Steak Stroganoff, son the Pesto Cavatappi. We both the chicken noodle soup add-on for $ 1.25 more. Both noodle dishes were very good. The stroganoff had a good portion of beef(steak?) and the noodles were good. The pesto cavatappi was good too. Chicken noodle soup was OK. Overall, a good, filling meal. Just the thing for a road trip stop.

I have been hesitant to check out this place since I had heard so many mixed things about Noodles & Company, but curiosity finally got the better of me. Located in the strip mall across from Nut Tree parking can be a tricky proposition. The interior is set up cafeteria ordering style. You place your order at the cash register and the staff brings out your food. There is a wide variety of pastas and a few salads to choose from on the menu. The first thing I thought was a place offering stroganoff, pad thai and mac n cheese couldn’t possibly do them all well. I immediately feared for my lunch. I ordered the large Thai Curry Pasta with shredded pork. The pasta bowl itself was $ 5 or $ 6 bucks plus $ 2.79 for the pork about $ 9 total. The pasta bowl itself didn’t look very large but it was full of yummy pasta and vegetables with a good sweet curry sauce flavor. The pork was generic and I probably wouldn’t order any meat on my next trip. My companion ordered a small pasta and it was pretty much just enough to feed a small child or field mice. Fortunately my companion eats as much as a field mouse and the portion was just enough. Noodles & Company has one of those cool multiple choice mix and match Coke machines for beverages. Overall I was pleased with Noodles & Company, but big eaters will not be happy here and it would be cost prohibitive to order more than one entrée. I will be back to try more of their menu.

* Welcome Experience — Ordinary There isn’t any. Enter and get in line. * Establishment — Ordinary Looks like a Chipotle or a Panera or any of the myriad fast casual restaurants around. * Service — Ordinary I’d say this was a miss. There was just an odd disconnect in the ordering process. It was downright awkward but whatever. It’s fast casual right? I wasn’t asked what size I wanted so I got a small. * Food Quantity /Quality /Presentation — Ordinary I had the Japanese pan noodles with steak and a Fat Tire beer. I also had a chocolate oatmeal cookie.(Pic) The entrée was hot and fresh and, well, boring to me. Nothing I couldn’t make at home but there wasn’t anything wrong with it. * What I’ll remember Not much really. Actually nothing. * What I can’t wait to forget The awkward staff. It was a nice brief visit but I can’t see any reason to go back.
