Laid back, solid food. I think this is a perfectly respectable place to grab Vietnamese food. I randomly decided to go for the seafood congee. Since this is not my usual go to, I don’t really have a good basis for comparison. I thought it was a great portion size. It definitely kept me full for a long time. It didn’t have as much non rice porridge stuff as I would have liked(like the shrimp/chicken/quail eggs/etc.). However, it was very tasty and I would consider getting it again. My husband got a chicken banh mi. That chicken was fantastic! I kept stealing some out of his sandwich. There is definitely a large variety of food on the menu. I wouldn’t worry about a picky eater not finding anything here. I also appreciate that there are photos of certain dishes so you can get an idea about what you are ordering. This place is very clean and pretty large. We had no problem getting a table at lunch.

Cool place located in the Kohl’s shopping center, great food, fast service, friendly staff. Large size portions at good prices. I got the Shrimp Phở and the spring rolls. Everything was very good and the springs rolls were huge. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back soon.

I come here on my lunch break when it’s cold or rainy and I’m in need of some comfort food/soup. I’ve had the chicken phở and the veggie phở, both are good. But that veggie phở… Full of super fresh Bok Choy, carrots, and broccoli, and chunks of tofu. The veggie phở is my go to and now I have a hard time branching out to try anything else. The place is always packed, at least during the workweek lunch break, and the service can be hit or miss. I know most phở eaters go for the beef, I haven’t tried it so I can’t comment on that. All I know is when I’m craving some hot brothy/veggie goodness, this place consistently takes care of me! And get offer a vegan broth too for you vegans out there. I’ve seen other reviews say that the broth isn’t hot… I’ve been here about 10 times and never had a problem with cold broth, and I come in during probably the busiest time.

I loveee phở, I go here for the atmosphere but the phở is not that great. The broth always seems kind of old and the noodles lack flavor they’re also hard in texture. I prefer phở star on foothill and grove.

Amazing amazing amazing. Any Phở you get will be good. My husband and I have gotten many different types and we’ve said that we have to get them again. Their spring rolls are awesome too. So incredibly fresh and flavorful. Go there at least once a week. Prices are normal for a Phở place. Servings are huge.

Honest to God, I had higher expectation after reading other reviews but it did not live up to the 4-star reviews it received. The place is call Phở Mai, so the obvious choice would be to try the Phở Special. The broth was OK but the beef tasted old and chewy and for some odd reason the soup was not hot enough. Don’t know if I would give this place a try again… maybe when I am in the area and desperate for some Vietnamese food.

I saw the great reviews of the place so my girlfriend and I wanted to check it out. I absolutely love phở. I get random phở cravings here and there and it confuses the hell out of me. But I wasn’t impressed with Phở Mai’s Dac Biet special bowl. First bite and I felt like I wasted $ 8. The broth didn’t taste like your usual overnight simmering of beef bones but rather scoop fulls of powdered Gatorade Phở mix. But, my girlfriend loved their chicken rice dish. So maybe I’ll try that next time.

Really good phở, the serving portions are pretty big. Also the prices are really reasonable. Will definitely make this my phở spot. The service is also good, the staff is friendly. I definitely recommend this place! Keep up the good work!

I’ve been to a few Phở places, but this one is as good as it gets. I come here almost every week, especially when it’s cold outside, and the soup is the best. Sadly, my review can only speak for the Phở soup and their egg rolls because that’s all I get. It’s too good to try anything new. I usually get the #1 or the #9 for myself and an order of 4 egg rolls to share. It comes out to be a lot of food, but its great!

We have been coming to this restaurant for 2 ½ years now. The food and service was always good. The last three visits have been extremely disappointing. The tables have been dirty and tonight we were seated at a table that had spilled soup on the floor beneath us. When I brought this to the waiters attention he said that he was not able to clean the floor because he was too busy. He did not offer to move us to another table instead he used napkins to wipe the floor. Needless to say this did not help. The staff are inexperienced and don’t seem to care about how the customers. This restaurant is declining and we are now looking for a new place to have our Phở.

The bun bo hue is my favorite. The ingredients are fresh, the staff is friendly and the place is clean. The taro tea was really good but the boba was a little off. Iv been here a few times and will continue coming.

Great phở for a great price! Got the #13 phở with steak and lean meat and it was excellent! The add-ins were very fresh and good quality and the service was good, fast and friendly, the restaurant was a little loud but it was during the busy lunch hour and I think it had more to do with the group of loud women at the table behind me than anything the restaurant can control. Will definitely come back here for a tasty lunch or dinner experience!

Love the place, great décor, bright lighting, not that big of a place though, give or take maybe good for 50 people. Bathrooms are clean and scented, it gets busy though since it’s the only one in the area(that you should go to), although weekends can get a bit packed in, t. v’s all around sporting awesome channels, either the game or the news(won’t be able to hear since it does get loud). Service is fast and on point, price is always reasonable. The a-5 is always made from scratch(fish gets chopped up then battered then fried) so it takes awhile, as always phở is vegetarian friendly.

Great lunch here today. For Phở place I was impressed on how clean and well appointed the restaurant was. Service was great and my water glass kept full! I had the #1 and by companion the #23. Both enjoyed our meals and I though the broth was likely the best I’ve ever had.(In my limited experience) We started with a couple shrimp spring rolls… a bit looser in the wrap then I’m used to, but very good. A great option for lunch and I’ll return when next in the area.

This place is awesome. First time for my boyfriend and myself. New to the area so it was nice to find this place. Broth was so flavorful. The filet mignon was tender and juicy. Shrimp was good too minus that the tails were still on. Shrimp and pork spring rolls had a little too much mint but nothing to complain about. The environment was very clean and tv’s with all the current sports games were a plus for my boyfriend. Overall we will definitely be back.

I can’t believe I been near a phở restaurant that serves vegan Phở. The service was excellent. When I went it was my mom’s first time. The waitress was very helpful on guiding my mom of how to eat and dress up her phở meal. I ordered the veggie phở. It was amazing! The veggies and broth looked so fresh. When I go to other places I always see tons of grease and not so fresh veggies. The atmosphere is nice too. There are televisions through out the restaurant and it is well maintained. I’m glad my coworker recommended me this place. It exceeded my expectations.

I would give this place more stars but after today, I don’t know… I feel like they’re cheap. The phở is okay, nothing spectacular but acceptable. The place is clean, which is also nice I guess. HOWEVER, I came in to order the coconut juice today with NOICE because I hate when places fill up your drink with a bunch of ice because they don’t want to actually give you more of the drink. If I wanted a bunch of frozen water, I would just add my own water to the drink. So, I purposely ordered the drink with NO ice. I sat down, and they brought me the drink WITH ice. I told them politely that I didn’t want any ice, so they took my drink out and dumped out the ice and gave the drink back to me and it was like.1/3 empty. My face be like… (-____________________________________________-)“ Go check the picture I posted. Totally not worth it for $ 2.70. I get this place is a business, but HONESTLY, how much money are you going to lose to fill the drink up to the top especially when you’re the one who messed up the order in the first place. Don’t expect any tips next time. Or if ever. Cheap-asses.
