If you’re looking for a divy bar scene with pool tables, darts, and some questionable clientele this is your place! Came here on a Saturday night with friends and there was a surprising amount of people there. Got served immediately when we sat down and ordered a bottled Coors light and some cocktails. The cocktails were as strong as jet fuel, but that means you’re getting your money’s worth so that’s fine with me! Not much else to say, but it’s a solid dive bar with strong drinks, and very attentive service!

Mediocre. I liked the prompt service and the fact that this place is more hidden and it was relatively empty the night I visited. It made it perfect to catch up with my cousin. There are also pool tables for $ 1 in quarters (there is a change machine) and apparently free pool Monday’s. :)
Lost a couple stars because some people there were creepy and they don’t do very good nonalcoholic drinks (shout out to the designated drivers).

I’m not a huge fan of bars in the IE, but I often find myself coming to this one. It’s pretty great as far as dive bars are concerned. Great place for a night cap. Cheers!

Super trashy spot. Haha, I don’t know what it’s like on the weekends, but if you think you’re gonna have a chill vibe and friendly people that don’t look like they’re recovering meth addicts, nah. Such an ironic name… I don’t get it.
No problem with the staff, just the people that are there. I just want to paint the image without being judgmental, but… Old, fat white people who look like they haven’t taken a shower or changed their clothes in years wearing… not tanktops, but you know when you rip off the sides of a regular shirt? Like that. Then there were a few «regular» people who seemed like eh whatever, I like it here.

This is the best bar in upland and possibly the entire IE. All of the bartenders are the ultimate, the booze is cheap and they have a rad smoking room. I love everything about this place. I would move into their bathroom if that was an option.

Has come around since the last time I was there a few years ago. Nice remodel and laid back older crowd. Nice waitresses and they had some decent live band the other night. Would definitely come back again.

The staffs and regulars here are all very nice. Normal game would find in common bar. The Billard table are quarter. $ 1 a game. Free Billard game every Monday. Table is not perfect and it is very common. Bartender make good drink. Restroom is small and not 100% clean but not bad. There is a table area for smoking. Have not seen any fight/​conflict or anyone throw up at this place. Highly recommend place to just chill.

Your experience will be determined by the staff on at the time. The regulars are pretty welcoming as long as you behave. Lots of good times there but it is the epitome of a dive bar.

Worst place ever. Rude bartender that looks like Kurt Russel haha. Dingy people and bad environment. He said he only had warm beer on tap and couldn’t even make the simplistic drinks.

So I do a Unilocal search for «DIVE BAR» in Upland and the Hi Brow does not come up. Are you kidding me? This place IS the go to local Dive Bar and that is meant as a compliment. Heavy pours, cold beer and good music WITHOUT ATTITUDE– perfect!
I recommend visiting for NASCAR on Sundays as it is always on upon request.
Hit this place on Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday afternoon for the Jill Sharp show. You need to visit to understand. Jill is THE bartender in the area.
Added bonus –no food sold here unless someone brings in pot luck.

This place is a shit hole bar. But somehow our girls nights always end here and we have an amazing time regardless. The bartender Adam is kind of a dick, but what are you gonna do?
This place is a legit dive bar, so don’t expect much and you’ll have an amazing time! People are friendly but this also tends to be the place where you run into people you don’t really wanna see. What can you expect living in Upland though?
