There is nothing in the UC Postal service network that deserves any type of acclaim. I take that back… the woman who works at the 8th Street post office– Rita, I think– is VERY helpful and apologetic. Union City never truly attempts delivery and instead leaves slips-​most of the time. You go to try and pick up your package and they can never find it and claim it’s out with the driver… then yell and get atitudes. You wait an hour for a supervisor– who doesn’t help. And the Post Master is like the Wizard of Oz. You ask for him and are told that he is there until 10am– The counter doesn’t open nor do they answer phones until 10am, so how exactly are you supposed to ask to see the Post Master?

Around here going to the post office can be an adventure.
Whether it is dealing with parking, the long lines or lack of personnel.
Just got tired of dealing with the one on Central Ave. I have been coming here for the last couple of months. It is a satellite office and is very small. I have only noticed one employee working there.
All shipping supplies are kept behind the counter so you will have to ask.
It is right across the street from Bowlrite Lanes and has ample parking. There is a municipal lot next door or CVS up the block.
Certainly a better option than one on Central Ave.

Went there to see what was going in a package i had asked to get redelivered via website online. The female who was there was not very friendly at all. She told me my package wasnt there and could not tell me anything further. She told me to try checking the main post office and sent me away. She then called for the next customer and told them to hurry up because she needed to go on lunch. This lady needs to be replaced, its not a hard job at all and she was so miserable. Do not go here if you not have to.
