My wife and an elderly friend were traveling to Sacramento on a Friday afternoon. Her car broke down near Clear Lake. Based on the 5 Star reviews in Unilocal,I found Tony at Lopez Automotive. The 5 Star reviews were right! Tony came back to his shop 1 hour after closing to meet the Tow Truck. He then called me at 8:30 pm on a Friday night with a diagnosis and estimate. He came in early on Saturday morning, got the part needed and repaired the vehicle under the estimated price. My wife and friend were back on the road by 11:30 am Saturday to their destination. Great job, Tony.

It was on a Friday, about 2pm when my 2006 Ridgeline really started acting up. I Unilocaled mechanics in Ukiah.
Lopez Automotive came up first so I called and described the problem. Tony said to bring it over and he’d take a look. I expected to get an assessment and an appointment for the following week.
Instead… he opened the hood, located the misfiring piston, changed out the ignition coil, replaced my tattered wiper blades and the ancient lifeless battery that I had been putting up with for months. The work was quick, accurate, informative and fairly priced.
Thank you Tony Lopez of Lopez automotive. You made my weekend.

Tony was absolutely amazing! We had taken our car in to S & K auto in Lakeport for an engine light problem and after $ 99.00 supposedly it was fixed. The following day we were on our way home from Ukiah when the light came back on and the engine died. We had to be towed and Tony was gracious enough to stay over an hour after closing to wait for the tow truck and greet us personally. After a thorough check to the car it was determined that S & K never fixed what they had charged us for. Tony worked diligently on our car, was very fair and reasonably priced he had us up and running in no time and we were able to get home (4 hrs away) safely and without car trouble. I would definitely recommend Lopez Automotive to anyone looking for an honest hard working mechanic and without a doubt would bring my car back to him for any repairs.

Tony always provided excellent work on my vehicles throughout the years he’s been in business. I been having my vehicles serviced by Tony since he opened his business. I now live in the bay area but I still have my vehicles serviced by Lopez Automotive because I know Tony is an honest person that does quality work and I highly recommend his service for anyone looking to have their vehicle serviced. Tony from Lopez Automotive helped us in a bind! After our van had accidentally been fueled with unleaded gas for a Diesel engine, we had no choice than to get it towed to the closest mechanic we could find that would drain the fuel. Tony was kind enough to take on a 3 hour project that came in right at the end of his day. He promptly managed get the van up on the lift, and moved quickly to get it done. Tony is knowledgeable and WANTS to help you! Thanks again Tony for taking care of us. We really appreciate it!
